Came in for a wheel alignment which I thought I needed lol but they checked my car out and told me I didn t need it Guys was very friendly and honest and didn t take my money or try to scam me Everything was very quick and efficient.. These guys are the real deal and you now have yourself a loyal customer will be coming back for an inspection next thank you guys again! I recommend everyone to come here if you want honesty and good work done!

This place is such a blessing to find. I've spent so much at Firestone until I was tired of being taken advantage of. My husband saw their commercial and said he's going to give the a try. Wow. The best decision Kost is very reasonable, the place is very friendly, again the price is affordable without breaking the bank. I've been a dedicated customer with Firestone for years. That's it. I've decided to move on with Kost Tire & Auto.

Kost had been recommended to me by family and friends, so I decided to get my new tires here. I couldn't be more happy. I got the exact tires I wanted, a great warranty and a large rebate on my tires. Dino and the other front desk guys are professional and friendly. I'm glad I chose Kost!

This was my first experience with Kost.Dino Martincic, the store manager, made this experience as easy as possible from start to finish. I told Dino what I needed to have done. He quoted me a price over the phone. When I got there, Dino was very friendly and professional. He knew what needed to be done as far as mounting and balancing my new tire as discussed over the phone. I did notice while waiting, Dino was always smiling and very cheerful with everyone. I did not wait long at all. I will say the place was very busy. Dino gave instructions to his technician and finally my tire was done. At the time of the payment, the cost on the invoice came out exactly what Dino promised which he originally quoted on the phone. Dino, even went so far as to help me place the tire in the wheel well underneath the mat in the trunk of my vehicle. Thank you Dino. You will always have my continued business!!

Went to this location for repairs,Prompt service, technician was knowledgeable, I was impressed by the dedication to service.The greatest thing.... No appointment needed... For a busy body like me... A god sent.

Great place. This place is incredibly big. I went around the back of the building and took a picture of the truck bays. Very good mechanics too. I'll trust these guys with my car anytime.

First time visiting and using these guys and it was a great experience, KOST Tire and Auto in Stroudsburg. I got there without any appointment for an alignment and they gave me an estimated time that my truck would be ready and they were done even quicker than I expected. I always expect that as a walk in that you need to wait behind the customers that are already on the lifts but obviously they run the shop very efficiently and move cars/trucks through at a pretty good pace. I do my own work on my trucks but its great when a shop appreciates folks that DIY and treat us as well as any other customer when we utilize their businesses for the special tools and skill sets a professional shop offers to bring our vehicles into spec, some things we just can't accomplish in a driveway. This is my new go to place. Highly recommended.

Traveling through the area on 7/17/23 when we had an issue with our brakes. We had to be on the road asap but couldn t. We stopped in to see if they could help and I am glad I did. They got them fixed in no time and found us some discounts to boot. I could not be more pleased with the service. Thank you guys.

Never go here to this place they have terrible customer service interactions. I ve called for 02 sensors quote just a brief estimate they said they can t quote over the phone meaning every quote is different. Every shop has a flat rate for parts installation. I have a bmw and I knew how he said it they charge ridiculous amounts of money. Beware of these ppl fix your cars yourself if you can. I hung up on this guy.

They are rude and unhelpful! My son is in college and I am 2 hours away. The car was towed there on a referral. They kept the car for 4 days, never communicated with me as asked and my husband and I along with my son had to keep calling to get updates on what was going on. They finally told me yesterday (day 4) that there is a special tool , for my oddball car (per one of the managers), needed to fix a belt that I was told by the Chevy dealer doesn t even run the vehicle because it is a hybrid. They could have told me on day one that they couldn t work with it since, according to them, it was such a strange car.When I called to advise I was going to have the car towed to the actual dealer, they acknowledged my call then never put it back together or took the car off the lift. When the tow got there, they had to leave because the car wasn t ready to be taken. Now I have to have someone go back out for another tow which affects my ability to continue my road side assistance coverage because this is the 3rd call in less than 48 hours for the same vehicle all because they could not be bothered with doing what I asked. As a parent, this is more than frustrating and I m sure if it was any of their kids, this would be important to them. I will NEVERRRRRRR use their services EVERRRRR!!!! I don t know what their problem is but this was the most terrible experience I have ever had with a mechanic.I don t recommend doing business with them unless you re there in person and don t mind doing their job.

I tried going to this place twice and both times it was such an unpleasant experience. I went to this place to get an estimate for a manifold replacement and they gave me an outrageous price of a minimum of $6K-$8k ... it took the guy all but 5 minutes to come up with that insane quote. How someone comes up with such an outrageous number is beyond me. I ended up taking it down the block to R&T International where they fixed the issue and were more pleasant and less miserable and only charged $1,500 MAX. STAY FAR AWAY from places like these.

Completely trust Deeno and the team at Kost in Stroudsburg. I've been a customer for nearly 10 years, three different cars. They're always fast to respond and honest in assessments. I've gone to them more than a handful of times to check things and they always give me the truth. I just had to bring my car in for a faulty dashboard light and they fixed it for nothing. I'm sure they could have easily found something and charged me the same, but they're not those type of folks.

9 times out of 10 your tires will leak air if they install them. Re-installed a problem tire 3 times, and they would not replace the troubled tire until it blew. "Come back if it gets worse," turns into another 3 hours sitting and waiting for the same vicious cycle.I wouldn't recommend purchasing or installing any sort of tires with Kost in general, they will deny any claims of damage to your rims if your brand new tires are defective. Their verbiage is e x t r e m e l y colluded. They endangered my life and the lives of others willingly despite the several attempts to fix the situation, and still try to convince me that it was not their fault.After 4 visits, wasting nearly 10 hours of my time, I noticed 2 out of 6 customers come in to complain about their one of their tires leaking air. Way before it started getting cold out. This was a 5-6 month thing I had to go through with them. It's a common theme.The 5th visit was because the defective tire blew and flung me into a curb, luckily I had the warranty and someone who was stepping in for the area manager tried telling me it was replaced "for free" (funny, because I don't exactly recall being /given/ the warranty.) they argued to their little hearts content that I obviously hit a curb. No sh*t, but that happened because the defective tire blew. The one I tried to get them to replace several times.Even after replacement, the tires placed on my stock rims were returned to me at 27PSI each. I keep a guage with me, and before showing them that the mechanics tried laughing it off saying I came back because I didn't purchase new TPMS.What was funny was the look on the guys face after I took the gauge out of my pocket.The guys in the back are typically also in a bad mood. This was not a good look whatsoever. Very unfortunate that I had to go out of my way to share this awful experience and warn others. Be careful.Now my review is shadow banned, but I ll make sure it gets up everywhere so everyone can see it. I will be doing so periodically as well

Said they would fix my car gave it to them suggested a 300$ fix and did absolutely nothing but make my car 10x worse than when I gave it to them called them and they won t call me back

If you need inspection,DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They said I had a exhaust leak, need back brakes and that my headlights were not working right $80 hour to figure it out. I changed the headlight bulb and PASSED WITH NO PROBLEMS

I was extremely pleased with the care and service shown by Patrick. He made it pleasant and easy to help an out of state friend over the phone. They had the best price around and they took great care to get my friend back on the road safely in a timely manner.Thank you Patrick for your kindness, you exceeded my expectations.

I started bringing my car here last year and haven't gone anywhere else since. The customer service is phenomenal. They are fair, quick, and friendly. They always do a great job on my car which is the main reason why I continue to come to them. I can trust that they are doing a great job regardless of what is getting done to my car. I am always satisfied with the work and price.

Being a woman makes it hard to find a mechanic you can go by yourself and understand everything they're gonna do with your car and not get overcharged. I found it all here! The guys were amazing, quick (if you're the first one to get there) and not expensive at all!!! The only problem I had was that I almost hit a car on the road bc they left my car on 1st gear, no brake (I drive manual)... That was super scary. Other than that the service was great

Always excellent staff, friendly and accommodating. If there is a major issue, they have no problem discussing it with my son, who does not live in the area, since he works on my car when possible. I feel safer driving knowing they take care of my car.

I tried a number of mechanics in the area over the years until I found Kost. The team at the counter is always friendly and they actually communicate with you. I've found them to be honest, priced competitively,and never condescending. I trust the work the mechanics perform and will continue to take my vehicles to this location.

Pat the sales manager helped me get new tires today. He was very welcoming and made me feel like my business was valued. They went above and beyond when completing the work I had asked for. For example, notifying me when my registration was expired and educating me on the ability to instantly renew it, so I wouldnt fail inspection.

My check engine light came on and my car was sputtering, so I took it to Kost to get repaired. They diagnosed a misfire on the 3rd cylinder and also said that they replaced the spark plugs. The cost was $883.46. After a couple of days, the car began sputtering and the check engine light came back on. It was clear that they hadn t fixed the issue. I brought it back once again, they looked at it, didn t charge me, then said that they thought they had resolved the issue. Once again, the car began to sputter w/in a few days and the check engine light came back on. I finally took to the dealer to get repaired. They informed me that although Kost correctly diagnosed the misfire on the 3rd cylinder, they actually replaced the 2nd cylinder. They also showed me the spark plugs that were in my car, which were the original spark plugs! Kost never replaced them but charged me for parts and labor! After taking it to the dealer, the issue was finally fixed. Clearly, Kost did not do what they said they did. The dealer charged me $543.56. The dealer wrote up these issues in the receipt and also provided me w/ the original spark plugs that were still in my vehicle when I initially took it there as evidence of Kost s fraud.I went to Kost to report the issue, at which point, they said that they were going to give me a full refund. A couple of weeks went by and I never heard from them, so I called. They were still looking into the issue but then received a phone call that they were going to refund $543.56. This was what I paid at the dealer, not at Kost! Why would they refund what I was charged at the dealer and not what Kost charged me for their dishonest work? It makes no sense at all. I have tried to resolve the issue and get a full refund from what Kost charged me but several attempts making phone calls have gone unanswered. It s almost been 2 months now. There was one gentleman, John, who was responsive and had to report the issue to someone in their front office to handle. I received the name and number for the individual responsible for at least letting me know what was going on Ken. Never heard from Ken. Called Ken and left a message. Still no word at all. Very unprofessional, unethical, and to be quite frank, a scam. I have filed a complaint w/ the BBB to resolve this issue.
