John BY FAR provides his customers with the best service at VERY FAIR cost. I also purchased a cap for my truck from John. His attention to detail in ordering and installation provided for a perfect fit and color.

The gas prices here are notably lower compared to the competition in the area. The pumps are available 24/7, and the owner has installed flood lamps to illuminate the pump area. Additionally, the owner is exceptionally pleasant to deal with and possesses both theoretical and practical knowledge about mechanics.

I brought my car in last month for an oil change and heating repair, but as the mechanics looked for the source of the problem with my heater, they kept identifying parts that they would need to replace, until they realized the head gasket on my engine had gone bad. Once it was clear that the problem was with my engine, John, the owner, decided not to charge me at all for the labor (my car was with them for a week overall) or for the heater core they had already replaced, and suggested I get a new car. I respect John's integrity in not charging me for a problem they weren't able to fix, and I plan to bring my new car to J&N for any repairs or (hopefully uneventful) oil changes in the future.

John, the owner, could not have been more of a pleasure to work with. He was fair, honest, funny and personable as well as knowledgable and patient. Even with an out-of-town address, he treated me with respect and fairness. I plan on calling him the next time I am in need of car repair or maintenance. Found this business online, talked to the owner and it seemed he knew what he was talking about.So I took my Porsche Cayenne in to get my alternator replaced (which is extremely difficult) and he did a great thorough job.They owner is an honest guy and knows his stuff. I d highly recommend.

John, the owner of J & N Auto is the most professional and honorable person that I have done business with. When he gives his word he stands by it. I find that this is not the case with most business dealings. He will do everything humanly possible to make sure his customers are 100% satisfied with the work done. My personal experience occurred with the changing of my timing belt. A normal maintenance item. When I left the shop I noticed my check engine light came on and the car ran rough. I quickly brought the car back to the shop and John made it a priority to personally test it. We took 3 test drives and he did not let me take the car home because he did not deem the car safe to drive. John went step by step to diagnose the problem with the engine. He incurred many expenses along the way and only passed a small portion to me to cover parts, no labor charges. It came to the point that John had to consult with another colleague from a specialty shop. With both parties working together the engine issue was found and fixed the right way. After experiencing this car problem I have the Upmost confidence in John's shop. His experience, professionalism, and service skills are unmatched. I would highly recommend his shop to people knowing that they will be treated with respect and honesty.Go Yankees!Some day they will get back to winning ways!

I can't say enough good things about this business. The owner was so understanding and helped me so much. I bought my son his first car though it was 20 year old Benz but this was my friend's father's car and he was the original owner and it had 119,000 miles and in my budget. He and his staff were honest didn't try to tell me something was wrong when it wasn't . I needed 2 new tires that were hard to find but he found them and charged me less than what I saw on line. If you want a honest place a good mechanic and a staff which includes the owners son girlfriend and the cutest daughter ever go here. I assure you You will be in great hands. TY for everything J & N you guys will be a part of my memory of my son's first car and all that comes with it lol.Thanks for putting up with my nerves and questions.

I would give them 10+ stars if I could.. today my car died right by their shop and I had my 7 yr old son and 1 year old daughter and he dropped everything and ran over to jump my car for me to get it to his service station and diagnosed the problem immediately and although I can't afford to fix it right now with Xmas right around the corner ...I do know that any other time I am in need of a mechanic I will definitely be going there. He has been so polite and understanding through the entire situation even though he didn't make any money from me and that is the type of amazing customer service and respect that is very rare to find these days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and they have serviced other vehicles of mine in the past and they are very fair and reasonable when it comes to prices. Saved my bacon. Car broke down late afternoon on Monday 1/4 of the way home to central NJ. Looked up the reviews before deciding where to have car towed. They deserve the rating. Figured it out first thing the next morning and had an alternator installed by that afternoon. I thought we could be stuck for a few days. Instead it was 1 day as they were sensitive to our situation.Chad and co. were a pleasure to do business with. Could have ripped us off but they were very fairly priced. Good feeling to find a legit and honest business when stranded out of town. As we will be making this trip a lot more in the future good to have a place we can depend on should the need ever arise again. Thanks guys!Services: Electrical repair, Battery

John is honest as the day is long. The crybaby that bought the truck should have asked.The man does top quality work (try buying a car not as is next time, nitwit). Anyway, his business is based on quality. One nitwit who never bothered to ask enough questions or be informed doesn't get it. This man and his son are honest people. If all the tow idiot driver could do is put "down" an honest local business, then that should tell you all you need to know. And if you cry and cry and cry AFTER agreeing to an "as is" sale, who's the stupid one? Too many dimwits expect something for nothing.John, Nick, Pappy all top notch honest people.So, the stupid "1" review is dumb @$$ buyer's remorse.Good repair, uses quality parts, guarantees work. You won't find better.

Dont Go Here! Took my car here that has always been serviced at the dealership the guy tried to tell me my car was totaled because It had a dent without even looking at the issue I had. Then these guys replaced my water pump without replacing the timing belt and now my car has issues that it has never had before these guys are horrible they will rip you off I have never had issues servicing my car and now the car won't even drive.

Been going here for years.. these people are amazing! got breaks done today had a noise coming from the car afterwards. they fixed it in like 4 minuites no problem! This is the best car shop in the poconos! very honest and good people..... Will def be back!

Like a person, cars can actually be weird to diagnose what's going on. Several months ago when my car died on me, a different mechanic told me I had a bad battery, and while that was probably fair, since it was twelve years old, I knew the issue wasn't just the battery. When the car died on me again, I decided to go somewhere else. J&N got to the heart of the problem--a loose wire, and won a new client. I'll be back here thanks to the solid service.

Grate shop the mechanic I have to say is fairly priced and I like that it's family owned and John is grate . Very good place if you don't want to be told you have 100 problems that don't exist. He's honest and fair very hard to find in a mechanic like them . Exceptional service and they treat you like family not just customers very real people

Out of town on vacation. Windshield wipers stopped working. Owner & mechanic diagnosed the problem quickly & didn't try to sell us unnecessary parts. Had the wipers fixed and we were on the road in less than an hour. Treated with honesty, courtesy and respect. Great to know people don't take advantage of you and what could have been a real vacation "downer" was just a minor interruption. Thank you!!

Ordered a Leer truck cap , delivery and installation was on time and as agreed upon even with the Coronavirus. The color match was exact , installers were knowledgeable and very professional if I ever I needed a new cap J & N would be my go-to place.

I refused brake work that was offered after a failed safety inspection and was asked, "well why did you bring the car down here then?"The next morning they refused to do the inspection because they were booked. Easiest 30$ they ever made.The first garage I called afterwards had me in and out of the shop in about 20 minutes.

I've been to many places in the area .These people are by far the nicest, they know what they are doing , prices are manageable, workers are very friendly respectful and very helpful .. The owner is very honest respectful . I will recommend this shop to anyone friends, family, strangers. First shop I ran into that doesn't try to steal your money and get over on you .Thank you guys for all you have done for my family and I.We will be seeing you all soon for more work on our car
