They were excellent !! That was my first time going and I was so impressive by how well they changed my car oil , transfer case fluid, and transmission fluid. When I told them some issues I was having with my Jeep, they knew right away that had to do with my transmission fluid and asked when I had it changed last, and knew it was due to be changed! They were also very professional and kind! Highly recommend !

Isaac and his crew at this location are great! I had a bunch of stuff that needed to be done and I was in and out....in the meanwhile Isaac was very nice to my talkative 5 year old, hooked me up with a propel, helped me get a coupon, and at no point made any of the process bad for me (or my kid). It's amazing to me that a dealership takes days what these guys do in less than an hour, awesome job!

Service was fast and good. I did oil change, plug gasket replacement and air filter change. They check the tire pressure and refilled my tires as well. The sign on my dash was still lit. They said it might take a few minutes in the road but it remained. So I went to Sheetz and refilled the tires myself and then the sign turned off.

This is in relation to all of your websites. You list everything but the price of services. Are the prices that high or is that some sort of shady business practice? Does each individual store charge whatever they want?

Only takes about 15 min to change my oil, technicians know what they are doing. They even give me a 15% off for the next visit for Transmission fluid replacement, recommended for people give a try at this place.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I love Valvoline; however, I would not suggest going to this location. They put a bottle of fuel injector fluid in my gas tank and my car has been making a rattling noise ever since. I went back for help and they did not offer any solutions. My recommendations: don't have Leah touch your car and don't trust the lackadaisical manager!

They do the job quickly and well. Just be aware not to purchase unnecessary services and the fact that it's a bit pricey since they offer immediate service.

i have visited this location many times in the past. the staff always looks unhappy to be there and are very uneducated on the job at hand. they can barely change your oil without messing something up or breaking something. let alone trying to sell you extra services that they manage to break something that shouldn t have broke. places like this don t deserve business. stick to the mom and pop shops and other such places where you know they will do the work right the first time.Service: Oil change

DO NOT GO HERE !!! I have anxiety I went here only to get laughed at and an attitude from some pink hair girlthat being said I've been here once before for an oil change and my tires rotated the three guys who did it last started my old change only to go half way through to tell me they don't have my volkswagen jetta filter first off why didn't they check before they started the service or I would of left right then and not spending $200 for UNCOMPLETED SERVICE (obviously no one knows what there doing )but when I tried to tell the guy who helped me today around 4:30 laughed and didn't understand and told me that if they didn't have the filter they wouldn't of done the oil change ....well please tell me why it was done worst costumer service SMH!Service: Oil change

Service is usually quick. I like them because you usually don't need to schedule an appointment before going. And they are usually nice and courteous, albeit a little pricey.However, I got an oil change done with them and they screwed the drain plug WAY too tight. It's impossible for me to unscrew it on my own now. I know over-tightening the drain plug can cause permanent damage to the oil pan so I am disappointed that they did this.

Quick, courteous, and professional. Have been a customer for years and have always been very satisfied. A lot of businesses could learn a great deal from their customer service; it's consistently excellent. Get your receipt emailed to you and you'll also get a coupon for your next oil change.

The crew was simply amazing. My oil was changed and additional services (air filter & tire rotation) were offered but not pressured. It only took 15 minutes to complete oil change and fluid top off. I didn't even have to get out of my car! the staff also checked all of my headlights, my air filter, my tires, and my air conditioning! I was super impressed with the staffs knowledge and efficiency. Congrats, you have a repeat customer.

I don't want to go anywhere else to have my oil changed, so I make the long drive to this place. No upselling you, no long waits. Friendly staff. The only downside is the confusing way you enter. But if I could remember between trips, I'd be fine.

A few dollars more than some of the other places in town, but totally worth it! This was the fastest oil change I've ever had and I never had to get out of my car. The workers were very professional and courteous too. They answered questions that I had and didn't push more expensive products/services.

This is the first time I have used Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I was impressed about the quick service and the friendliness of the staff. The cost of the oil change was cheaper than going to the dealership. Best service I have ever had in State College, they check your car and give you and recommendations if the something isn t working well. Greg and the assistant manamanager are great guys, honest and know what they are doing.

The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and PROFESSIONAL. I stopped in off the street, no appointment, and was ushered in immediately and within less than 15 minutes I was back on the road!! Great experience and I would definitely recommend this location to any one who asked.

The assistant store manager was amazing she checked stuff I haven't seen any other shop including the other valvoline do she definitely needs a raise she went above and beyond. kudos

No need for an appointment! Speedy, good oil changes. Perfect for the winter when doing it yourself in a cold garage or a blistering driveway is an unfriendly idea. Be mindful of what you need and want going in. They will make recommendations based on what they see and such. Know your budget and your car.

They were rude and do not stand by problems with their work.This location changed the oil on my '07 Ford Freestar this spring. When I went to change the oil myself this summer, I found the filter to be on so tight that I couldn't get it off by any means (I had already drained the oil). I came to the store expressing my concern with their work, and wanted them to make it right by installing my filter and topping off what oil leaked during the process.The manager Chuck blamed me for not knowing what I was doing, or not having the right tools to do the work. He was unwilling to fix the filter being on too tight, or to even look at it without charging me $15 to put my own filter on. I'm going to pay my mechanic to fix it rather than give any more money to this business.Furthermore, when I came back around the store I overheard Chuck and a technician named Steve making fun of my experience and saying that they wouldn't starve without my business. This is not the kind of customer care that keeps people coming back.The date of my poor service was 2016-08-08.

Get my oil changed here. The staff was professional and friendly. They usually have coupons active. I usually search for one while waiting for the oil change to complete. It seems like they always try to sell you a new air filter even when you don't need one (that's what cost them the fifth star).
