I had a terrible experience with Safelite. During the windshield replacement, they ruined my inspection sticker, leading to additional costs and inconvenience. The inside of my car was left messy with visible prints from the technician. I wouldn't recommend their services and wish there were better alternatives available.

I had my windshield replaced at the Safelite in State College. They had a coupon on their website to save $80, which made it the most affordable place to go. I have a 2013 Honda CRV, and the total cost with the coupon was $350 after taxes and fees. They had next day appointments available if I was willing to leave the car there all day, but since I wanted to wait on it, I had to schedule about a week out. I was very happy with the people I interacted with. Rich, the technician who worked on my car, was friendly and professional, and he got the job done in under an hour. I would say that the in-store service was 5 stars, but I am removing one star because of how frustrating Safelite's automated system is. You can't just call in to make an appointment. Calling gets you redirected to an automated system informing you that you can only schedule online. Also, in the week while I was waiting for my appointment, I received a variety of automated emails and texts. One message was trying to convince me that for the 'safety of my new windshield' I should spend $70 to upgrade my service to include new wiper blades. I didn't really appreciate their automated system trying to upsell me. But if you don't mind brushing off some spammy emails and texts, it's not a bad place to get a repair done.

Safelite in state college did a great job replacing my windshield, I had a crack in my windshield and made an appointment with them and when I made the appointment it said it would take about two hours. Well I dropped my 2015 Kia soul off and walked down to some local shops and within 40 minutes they called me and said my windshield was done and was ready for pickup. I can t thank them enough and the replacement windshield looks great!!!! Thanks guys!

Joshua from Dubois Safelite was very nice and professional and did a great job with my husband's windshield. It cost more than I thought a windshield would, but im sure it's less than a traffic citation. I recommend this place.

They installed a chipped windshield! I was told to pick up my car while the glue was not set and the new windshield was rattling around. . . My new windshield will most likely not seal properly. Had I known the lack of QC I would have taken my business elsewhere.

Horrible service the first thing the fat guy told me was you know I can't fix that right total waist of time he did nothing but sit in his office for 40 min then pulled my car out of garage gave it back looking like this

I very much appreciated the service on my windshield replacement. It's been several weeks and the new windshield seems great. I felt well-served by the desk staff. I would have liked a call when my vehicle was done, but I was so pleased to have the work done in a few hours on a Saturday. I also really like the accessibility of the location.Be forewarned that you will need an inspection with a windshield replacement. It helps to know with scheduling beforehand.

Terrible phone customer service. Can not talk to a real person, just automated. Don't even go here if you are paying out of pocket. $520+ tax for a windshield, where Auto Glass Centre is $305+ tax for the same service and you have a real person answer the phone.

Went for a chip toward the top of my front windshield, and they were able to take it the same day. It took 20 minutes, and I was amazed at the results - while the chip and crack were largely out of my line of sight, now it's hard to even tell there was anything there. Great service and excellent results - highly recommend!

Absolutely stellar!I had a stray rock kicked up by a truck chip my windshield, and scheduled service for a repair here through my insurance.For some odd reason, my insurance failed to push my appointment through properly, but the technician here (whose name I didn't catch, unfortunately) was very accommodating and gave me some options before I went ahead and hassled with my insurance.Everything worked out perfectly, and my chip was filled in about 15-20 minutes! He even cleaned my windows and vacuumed the inside of my car.My chip is filled, and that's all I could ask for!

I took my car in due to a replacement windshield, from another location out if state, having what we thought was a crack. These guys discovered that it was a streak of adhesive not a crack. They were honest and had me come and pick up the car, no charge. I was impressed by their professionalism and service.

Today (10-08-13) is the second time in about 3 years I've used their services and both times have been a pleasure to have done business with them. I was able to wait for my truck and did not have to wait long before it was done.Scott Trimble is always a pleasure to work with and has the highest professionalism in his field. Not only did he complete the work on the windshield as I asked but he took the time to clean my windows and cleaned the floors in my truck too. How cool is that?Awesome job Scott...keep up the great work and THANKS once again for everything.

They replaced my windshield in my Subaru outback. The installers name was Larry. Very professional nice person. replaced the windshield and recalibrated the cameras. Great job, hats off to Larry.He was short on help the day of my install and Larry was by himself but he did a great job.

Fast service. Polite mechanic. Not close to much, so you might want to bring something to do while you wait. The appointment was easily scheduled. Was unable to get a timely appointment where they would come to me and fix it, but the shop was not so far away. Overall I would go back if I need my windshield replaced again.

VERY poor service, made 2 separate appointments here and both times I showed up, they said I never made an appointment. Don't waste you time here with these unprofessionals.

tried repeatedly to ask whether or not they can repair my windshield. There is no phone number to the shop that actually reaches the shop. all scheduling is done online, and there is no one to answer a simple question.It seems like the company is deliberately trying to cut the local owner/staff from interacting with customers.it seems a terrible way to run a business.

Safelite was comparable in price to the other auto glass places (only $2 more) but was much more convenient! Probably most importantly, Safelite was able to service my vehicle two days before anyone else. Being able to schedule online was great. The waiting area had TV, a remote, and had a keurig with K-cups. My wait was only 75 minutes. I really enjoyed this experience. I will come back to them in the future for my auto glass needs

Scott was so incredibly helpful after my back windshield shattered after dropping my son off at day care! The next day it was fixed and the customer services overall was amazing. And they made sure my trunk was vacuumed and clean since my son't stroller was in there.

My experience with Safelite was an excellent one. Larry and Mason showed up on time, were extremely courteous and had my windows replaced in no time at all. If you need a window(s) replaced, I strongly recommend that you go with this business and ask for Larry or Mason to do your install.

They did a great job. I was in and out! I just had to get a little chip on my windshield filled in. The waiting room was nice and clean and had a Keurig plus the History channel was on! What more can you ask for?! ANDD he even vacuumed and cleaned the windows inside of my car. Thanks! :)

It was really a bad service. They scheduled me on Thursday and dropped my car at 7:30am. By 2pm, they call me and said that they didn't complete the service because my windown didn't arrive. Why did they schedule me at the first place if they do not have my window to replace? The worse was when they said that they do not even know when my window will arrive. I lost one day without my car for nothing.

My technician was awesome.. He told me in detail what time he would be there and when he got here he was very polite and answered all my questions.. I had a vandalism and he instructed me thru the process of obtaining a new inspection sticker&etc.. 5 service!!!

I was able to make an appointment the same day, they began working as soon as I got there (which was early), my car was finished in a timely manner and had great customer service from start to finish. I'm very pleased!

Great experience. Staff was helpful and courteous. Windshield was replaced within the work window they gave me. The work was was high quality. No issues. Cost was reasonable.

Me being dumb put my wiper blade up to change it and somehow it came down and cracked my windshield. These guys ordered me on up and 2 days later put it in and it was in and I left within 45 mins. Absolutely stunning!

Safelite came out replaced my windshield. While they were doing that dented my front fenders in to the point my front doors caught them and pulled them in towards the door hinges. I called them right way after many days now of them dodging me and trying to come up with their cop out, they are not going to do anything about their mess they created. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING... They do the damage but don't want to own up too it. All they say is oh it was like that to begin with our technician took pictures of the whole car ,or they use some other scam. We asked to see the pictures then they come out and tell us there is no pictures. You want dents and have problems opening your doors call Safelite they will fix you up!!!!!!

Their automated line is awful to work through. Just go to Auto Glass Centre if you're in the area. Those guys responded instantly and got the job done quick even during a busy week.

I have been here several times over the years for windshield replacements. Every time the work is done on time, and there is no evidence of anything ever being done. On top of that, very friendly and professional staff
