An unexpected family event found us needing a car quickly. On a whim, we entered this dealership on a snowy Saturday morning without an appointment and met Elisha. She just might be the kindest, calmest, most personable and most importantly seriously knowlegable sales person we have ever dealt with. Elisha calmly heard the story , helped us problem solve, organized a test drive despite snow covered vehicles, informed us of our choices, let us quietly talk as a family before making our decision. My initial review was just 5-stars, but I'm returning to add more. This was by far the most seamless car-buying process EVER! I had received multiple quotes from other dealerships and was on my way to sign paperwork on a car I wasn't in love with. I took one more look online before leaving and Springfield had the exact VW I was looking for! I called and let them know that I would come their way if they could make me a better deal. Alex told me he could and that I should just head over and when I got there the car would be detailed and all we would have to do was sign paperwork. I thought he was just saying anything to get me through the door, but no - I walked in and he had me talk to Alexis (who was phenomenal) to confirm what I wanted and show me the car. Then he came over with THEE number. He meant what he said!! I love negotiating, but he gave me an amazing deal on a brand new 2024 VW. I was in and out of there within 3 hours! Everyone was so kind, but my guy Alex doesn't play around! I love my car just as much as I loved the service I received. Went back for my plates a few days ago and I felt like a celebrity. They don't forget a face or a name! Top-tier experience. I've been telling everyone to go and when this lease is up, I'll be going back myself.

Update: I called back almost a month later as moisture was still getting in the car. VW refused to have my car back to their shop (maybe because I didn t leave a good review). They told me the moisture isn t getting in, it s still in the carpets (the carpets they wanted $2000 to replace). I took it somewhere else to handle the carpets for $795. While completing the work they found the leak at the front driver side floor area and fixed it at no additional charge.How about you stand behind your work and refund me the $199 for your inspection that didn t find the problem and the $400 for the fix to my skylight gasket that didn t solve the problem.Original review:Poor communication. I called and scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday. I brought the car in for a possible leak in the panoramic sunroof gasket causing condensation, inspection/emissions, and a detail a day early on Tuesday afternoon. I was told the pricing for detailing was per car, and I would be given a price. After I dropped off my car, the service representative asked if they had mentioned it was a $199 charge to look at it. I let her know that I was not told. I was told on Tuesday afternoon that there was a likelihood that they would have an answer about my car problem that night and they would call. I never received any update. I did not receive an update on Wednesday. I did not receive an update on Thursday. I did not receive an update on Friday. I called Friday afternoon. I was told the car was finished and that there were $4000 worth of recommended work. I gave them permission to perform the repairs up to $2000, excluding carpet/pad replacement and to leave the replaced parts in my trunk. I asked them if they were open Saturdays and if they didn t finish on Friday would they finish on Saturday? I was told that the service technician who was repairing my car would not be working on Saturday, so if it wasn t finished on Friday, it would be next week. They told me it would likely be done Friday afternoon - However, they would call me for an update either way. No call on Friday. No call on Saturday. No call on Monday. They called me on Tuesday in the middle of an ice storm and said come pick it up. They did not provide a price for the detail so I asked them for my estimate. Instead of providing an accurate estimate for my vehicle at that time they put me on hold and came back to tell me it is $200-$300 per vehicle depending on the vehicle and that s my estimate. This was the fourth time I had asked for a detailing estimate. I obviously did not get my car detailed here and when I picked it up, there were no parts in my trunk and the service rep had to unfortunately dig around the bay to find them. I would expect a dealership to meet the basic expectations from a customer regarding communication and I will not come back.

I was so excited about my 2021 Tiquan and then I wasn't!!!!!!!!! It's been a downhill experience since I purchased this expensive car. I thought and expressed involving a lawyer. But I finally was treated like a human by Joe in the service dept. But once again even though the low oil light came on before the oil needed to be service, the engine light is on yet again. I have more important things to do then to sit at your dealership. It seems I may be stuck but I am a big mouthpiece and I will discourage anyone that I come across and on social media and discourage any and everyone remotely thinking of patronizing VW of Springfield, Pa. not to! If there was a zero rating I would of sent it! Just like the dismissive attitude I've gotten from your company's service, I'm sure it will be the same energy here and I'm wasting my time.Regards,Theresa M. Lane

I schedule my car for an oil change and engine light came on so I asked to have that checked as well. Had my appointment for 8:30am. Was told I may have to wait until Monday for diagnostic test but would ee what they could do. I sat in the lobby until 10am with no updates, so I called for a ride instead of waiting in lobby to only see my car still sitting in exact spot I left it so it wasn't even looked at after 1.5 hours. I specifically asked for updates as I leaving. No call or text so I text at noon for update. Was told car was still being worked on.....text again at 1with no answer so called at 1:20 to be told oil change was done and mechanic was running test and got a few errors but system died. Get text at 1:49 that oil change was done and I have to reschedule for engine light. Go to pick up car and no one is in service. Spoke with manager Alex who tells me there are no notes about engine light, car wasn't worked on until 12:45 (even though I had 8:30 appointment).Would not recommend. Staff has poor communication skills. Total disregard to customers time and is not truthful about what is going on.

First service on my Taos. Kat was there first and was a pleasure to meet. The service team arrived on time and completed my service in record time. The next service interval discussed and yet another friendly interaction with a great service team. Sorry, I don t remember his name.

Rob (Robert Williams) was and is amazing! Awesome experience and environment to buy a new car! The entire team made me feel welcome, comfortable, and confident in buying a new car. The amount of vehicles available for selection is far better than any other dealership I've been to. Rob was extremely knowledgeable, patient, personable, and professional! If I can put 0 stars I would. Do not buy here. It took two months to get the paperwork signed 3 different times, I have not gotten a bill yet from VW. We traded our car in and now we are delinquent with Nissan for non payment. Our credit is screwed up. Incompetent manager and sales. Stay away. Issue has not been resolved. I really want to return the suv and go to Garnett VW where I got mine and have an amazing experience again. That purchase was seamless and very professional.Update 3/30/24 no registration card, trade in has not been paid to Nissan, Alex has been hiding and doesn t want to deal with this issue and another employee hung up on me when I told him I was upset. He said well im not the one that did that. This stress has gotten my blood pressure up and my credit screwed. GO TO GARNET VW and buy great people great service.

I live in Florida I am up up here visiting my children before Driving back to Florida. I had Oil change and multipoint inspection done. I was advised that I would need two new tires and the service manager (Joe) gave me an estimate for the two tires. I asked him if he could price 4 tires for me. He came back with good news that he was able to aquire 4 OEM tires and turned out the cost was less than the 2 replacement tires. I had the 4 tires put on my Jetta. Over the weekend one of the tires had a flat. I had the spare put on and went back to Springfield VW. Joe told me the tire was not able to be repaired, however he went back to the Manufacturer and the tire was under warranty. I left the tire on Monday and by Wednesday the tire was ready I returned and the tire was installed.Joe went out of his way to ensure my satisfaction and I would highly recommend VW of Springfield to anyone needing service.

From the moment we stepped on the lot we were greeted by Collin. He wasn t pushy and made us feel very comfortable even when we said we were really considering a VW. After the test drive we expressed a bit of interest because we were shocked at how nice the Atlas drove. Collin and Chris were extremely helpful and after a few days of test driving other cars I knew I wanted to purchase a vehicle from them. They were nice and accommodating, found me the exact model I wanted, even though it wasn t on the lot.

Everyone keeps saying right now is not the time to buy a car. Well, just go to VW of Springfield. These folks are absolutely one of a kind. Let me start with Chris, who was patient, knowledgeable, kind, funny, personable, and excellent at communicating. Then there s, the GM, Alex. He was honest, transparent, more than fair with the financials, and very gregarious. They both let us know the car we wanted would be challenging to find at this time. Fast forward two days and we drove away in this beauty! They made it happen, they found us the car we wanted with all the bells and whistles. My favorite thing about this place, besides the fact that they re magicians and somehow found our car, is how friendly and supportive everyone is. In three days we communicated with several people (Chris, Alex, Alexus, Nick and the finance guy whose name I can t recall, sorry). What could have been a very stressful and irritating experience was fun, exciting and overall very pleasant. Thank you all!

I received a call from Robert at VW about a week ago , scheduled an appointment and in no time he got me into my dream SUV !!! No money down and it was the quickest time I ve ever spent at a dealership !!! Great customer service from Robert and Chris ! When I came back to get my car detailed I was offered pizza , soda , and coffee ! These guys made me feel like royalty !! People say don t buy a car right now but what you gotta do is find the right place to buy the car !!!! Go to Volkswagen of Springfield! Thanks for everything Robert

The customer service here was superb. Chris was absolutely fantastic. He was warm, welcoming and professional. He showed me different vehicles within my budget and I didn't feel pressed to purchase on that day. I am a lifelong lover of all things VW. I had to put my 2008 VW Jetta rest and I was heartbroken. So, I went to my local VW dealership which is my neighborhood to find a replacement vehicle. I met Alexa Calderon- what a godsend! She showed me a selection of vehicles and did not do the hard sell thing that many sales people are known to do. She allowed me to think about the car I test drove overnight. I made a promise to return the next day at 2pm. I arrived at 1:20 pm and she was already here when I arrived. She valued my time. The process was easy breezy. My car is so nice that my family and friends are ready to purchase new vehicles, too. Thank you, Alexus for everything!

I cannnnnnot say enough AMAZING things about this place and the people there! I worked with Hilly and Alex- the professionalism, knowledge, and persistence to make a deal is unmatched! I went into the showroom looking to lease and came out with a brand new 2021 car that I bought with great monthly payments! My parents were so pleased by how my deal went, that they bought their own car the next day. The people at Volkswagen in Springfield really care about their customers and it shows through and through. I will definitely be coming back for years to come! Thanks again Hilly and Alex!

I called the volkswagon dealership Saturvday October 28th to inquire about the Volkswagon tiguan. There was no test drive , they said they showed me a car that was more in my price range. I was told there was a panoramic sunroof and cordless phone charger. What i did not know there are no safety features. i am a 66 year old getting ready to retire with no blind spot or beep when backing up for people or cars. i spoke to the salesperson on Tuesday October 31st and he said i was not stuck with the car. I also was told it was end of ths month and they were trying to make a sale. This is a lease and i am stuck for 3 years with a car that does not have safety features that were standard in my other leases. This is my 6th lease and i am unhappy. Both Managers told me on November 4th the registration and title has gone through.

I just picked up my second VW GTI and the experience was more than expected. Alexus & The Finance Team was very patient with me and worked tirelessly to give the trade-in value for my car as well as getting me an interest rate that was much lower than my last car. Everyone was very professional, polite, & made me feel comfortable throughout my car buying process.
