I've been taking my family's cars to Ridpath Auto for over 10 years. Their diagnostics are spot-on and their communication, customer service, and reliability are unparalleled. They know cars. I definitely feel fortunate and blessed to have such great people to work with to maintain my family s vehicles. Thank you Michael, Jim, and the team.

We have been using Ridpath Auto for over 30 years. Ron and Mike Ridpath are honest and caring. We had been told by a dealer that we needed work done, so we took the care to Ridpath to have the work completed. Mike looked at the car and said we did not need the work the dealer had indicated. Ridpath will always be honest and explain everything to you They will always fit you in with an emergency, even when their schedule is full. We highly recommend Ridpath Auto.

Started my day with a flat and didn t know how bad it was managed to make it to the first shop I could make it to but boy was it a lucky arrival! I was immediately helped by the owner who had me set in no time and even squeezed me in for an oil change while I was at it. Everything you d like an auto mechanic to be- available, kind, quick, knowledgeable, honest and affordable for their quality of work. Support a community business and go to Ridpath s!

After moving to Springfield, we had a number of bad experiences with various local mechanics. We started using Ridpath's around 2015/2016 and have not looked back. While they won't always be as cheap as some of the major chain stores, they run an honest, reliable shop. Unlike the major chains who try selling you services you don't need, Michael and Jim have saved us a lot of money over the years. They will point out things to keep an eye on that do not require immediate attention and have even talked me out of doing unnecessary repairs. Michael and Jim are very knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, they are trustworthy and reliable.In my experience, appointment availability is usually 1-2 weeks out. But do not let that deter you from using them... it's worth it. Best Mechanics? In town.Honest reliable trustworthy i have bin bringing my vehicle to them since 2015 and i highly recommend them to any one who ask for a good mechanic they have fixed some serious issues on my vehicle to maintain the vehicles durability

After moving to the area I needed to find a new garage. Saw the reviews and gave Ridpath a try. Jim has been kind and courteous and fair about all repairs and giving recommendations. He has been flexible with allowing us to drop off the night before as well. Recently both family cars were out of commission and he was able to get us back up and running quickly.

The folks at Ridpath's are always great. They're no nonsense and they get the job done. You can always trust that they're going to give you the right info on a job and not steer you in the wrong direction. There are a lot of words I can use to describe my experience at Ridpath. Friendly, professional, courteous, clean However they are all secondary to the reason that they are my mechanic.They are honest, that is why they were recommended to me, that is why I went there once and that is why I return there every time I need work on my car.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair

This auto shop has great customer service and they do fantastic work at very reasonable prices! They always use the correct parts at the best cost feasible. They install everything well and always test everything out before before returning the car... truly finishing the job! They also are always honest with me about what actually needs to be done and what could wait a few weeks or months before it's required. They stand behind their work and get back to me quickly with any questions I have. My family has been using them for about 24 years (since 1995) because they are so good! I would highly recommend this place if you are new to the area/recently moved in or and looking for a new auto place

Great local shop. Rates are very reasonable and service is timely. Owners and mechanics are knowledgeable, even when it comes to certain make/model specific quirks. I know my cars, their common/uncommon issues and parts costs, and can easily tell if mechanics are dishonest or lack the specific knowledge. This shop is consistent and reliable. A+.

I've been taking my cars to Ridpath's for over 20 years and have always been impressed with how the shop is run. They consistently offer great customer service, quality work, and fair prices. Ridpath's is a shop that can be trusted in doing what's right for the customer.

This is hands-down the best auto shop in the area. I have been taking my vehicles here for a couple years now. Any time one of my vehicles has needed service aside from an oil change, Michael has taken the time to explain what they were doing and why it needed to be done. One time he even brought out my old rotor to show me what had been causing my breaking issues. The prices are fair and they have always been honest about what needs to be done now, what should be done, and what could be done later. I won't take my cars anywhere else!

I really like these guys. Been to a few different mechanics in the area before coming across Ridpath and their a pleasure doing business with.They take the time to explain what the issue was, which does a lot in instilling trust (especially when you don't know what you're paying for at the mechanic!).Just make sure your schedule a few days in advance because they can get busy (as popular businesses do!)

I had came into Ridpath's desperate for a last minute inspection, as I had just switched my car registration from MD to PA. I had zero clue what I was doing, all I knew was I needed it "stickers and inspection." Michael, the manager walked me through the process right away making sure I understood what needed to be done in order to complete the registration. I had previous awful experiences at MIDAS and Jiffy Lube where they would try to sell me multiple things for my car that it turns out I didn't even need right away. Ridpath's is affordable, convenient, and trustworthy. Will definitely be a returning customer!!!!

THE BEST service! Extremely honest and helpful!!!I had leased a Hyundai Tucson and immediately began having an issue with it pulling to the right. I took it to 2 Hyundai dealerships explaining the problem and leaving frustrated with the same problem.I decided to see if Ridpath could figure out why the car was STILL pulling to the right even after the dealership "aligned" it 2 different times.M. Ridpath found the problem within a few minutes of driving it.The dealership had the wrong size tire on the drivers side!!M. Ridpath called me to let me know what the problem was as well as giving me excellent advice on how to handle the situation when calling the dealership.I have taken ALL of my cars to Ridpath for years and always leave a happy customer, knowing my car got great service and at a great price.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

I have been a customer for years. Fast, friendly and quality service with pride at this family business. I have an older truck that they continue to keep running by finding creative and cost effective solutions, rather than just doing the easy fix, which is not necessarily the best fix. They get the job done right and consistently have my vehicles ready when promised.

I've been going there from Philly for the last 15yrs. I trust no one else with my truck. Mike always reminds me about preventative maintenance options. And I have to say (knock on wood), I've never been that guy on the side of the road with a broken down car because of something I could've prevented.I am confident my truck will start on a cold Feb and not overheat on a hot July.Thank you Ridpath Auto for taking care of my truck so I can keep moving forward, whether it's work or play.

Best shop I ve ever been to. Took my Focus here for a Fuel Pump. The job was done in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. Price was very reasonable and I will definitely be going back in the future. I even received a phone call a few weeks after the job was done from the shop making sure everything was okay.

What do you look for in an auto repair shop? Honesty, Integrity, Raesonable Prices, Convenience, Cleanliness? Ridpath's Auto checks all the boxes. 25 year customer. Easy scheduling. Ron, Michael or Jim always call to consult prior to any repair outside of expected cost. I wouldn't take my cars to any other shop.

As much as I hate having to spend money on auto repairs, if I have to, this is the best place you can do it. These are the honest and easy to talk to mechanics you've been looking for. You cant go wrong with Ridpaths.
