Let me start off by saying how disappointed I am and would like a manager to contact me about this. I asked for an alignment to be preformed on my truck. Without calling me to ask for permission, they adjusted the steering box to make the alignment "perfect". Which doubled the estimate. Which is unprofessional to not call before hand. What really got me is they charged A FULL HOUR of labor to install a dust cap on the wheel hub. That is highway robbery as this takes less than 1 minute to do. I d love for a manager to explain to me how this is okay

Tried to charge $100 for jump starting a battery with no prior authorization. Staff is rude and arrogant. Owner is passive aggressive and will not return phone calls. They even blocked my vehicle in with a forklift in fear that I would take it and not pay them. This place is geared towards businesses that have a disposable income for their fleet vehicle s, not for the every day working class because you ll definitely be taken advantage of!

They took my truck on Tuesday, had it for 2 days. Did almost nothing to the truck. Worked on the"lights". I had to pick up at shop Friday morning. Truck didn't start 3 starts after left the place. Then they charged me 120$ for the jump start, when they got to where I broke Down. 460 $ for whatever it is they did. They told me my bill was going to be 3700 $ for inspection. I told them no thanks I'll get inspected somewhere else. Cost 270$ at the next mechanics. Robbery!

I don't review but I do read a lot of reviews before choosing product or services. This is my first review only because how disgusted and angry I am at this 'service centre' I will be upfront I know very little about mechanics and I believe they took full advantage of this. I have been to Wensels twice and both times been told one price and then gone to pay for it and there is always an additional price plus additional parts/pieces they added with no approval. Most recently according to them I needed my brakes, rotors and shoes replaced totaling $1600 I took it elsewhere they told me this wasn't the case and I was quoted $260 for only needing new pads. They are crooks!

Recently had a tow hitch and brake controller installed on my pick up. Since I was supplying all the major parts I was figuring the installation might be on the order of $500 or so at the outside. Not even close. The final bill was $1183.61.The billing person did note that it was necessary to remove a short section of tail pipe and fabricate/weld in a replacement to create room for the hitch. With 10 years in the auto body business prior to a career change, I know that this was not a major 'stop the presses' type of development. The total labor charge was 10 hours at $95 per, which also included $47.50 to grind off--per my request--a couple of smallish, old bolts in the rear bumper that would've taken all of 10 minutes to remove myself if my angle grinder wasn't in storage with the rest of my tools. An awful lot of time was spent on this job. One possible clue as to why were numerous greasy fingerprints on the installation instructions for the controller. Since I used the most popular brand out there, I can only assume the shop assigned the job to a newby who never installed one before and learned the ropes on my $95/hour.I know what I'm looking at and, in fairness, did receive a good job overall. I say 'overall' because the brake controller was mounted cockeyed, unfortunately right there on the dashboard where it serves to remind me of the bill whenever I'm in the driver's seat. Would also note that the garage seems to emulate the billing practices of for profit hospitals in that they identify and charge what I perceive as a healthy mark up on every bit and piece used. $0.91 a pop for nylon wire ties? Even got hit for "Misc shop supply/waste disposal" for another $14.96. A couple of bolts and a foot of tailpipe? Last I knew, scrap yards were paying for that stuff, albeit not much. And what supplies? Kleenex? Hand cleaner? An increment of the monthly Sirius bill? Where does a number like $14.96 even come from when the labor worked out to a nice, conveniently round 10 hours? My bottom line impression of Wensel's is that this is a shop that will likely do a good job for you but you'll be paying absolute top dollar for the privilege. My advice is to shop around and always get an estimate first. To my regret, I didn't do either.

I wish I can leave 0 stars, these guys are thieves. Called them out for a simple tire repair and they decided to add a 1 hour travel charge each way at $115 hour AFTER they completed the simple repair. Total charge of $334.60 to fix a tire with a nail in it. Highway Robbery!

Travel time was overcharged. For 23 miles, technician quoted he needed 55 min to get there and 55 to get back. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this service center to anybody.

I haven't met a single person there in the 15 years that I have lived here, who hasn't gone out of their way to be nice to me, whether I'm a customer or not. That's incredible rare to find

A/c repair diagnostic was done incorrectly, still charged for labor 260$. They didn't tell in advance that cannot do certain repairs, but still took truck to make money on labor.
