I brought my car in for inspection they brought to my attention some big concerns that needed attention. I was pleased with the work and how Kevin and his team was keeping me updated. I recently relocated to Philadelphia and needed a reliable shop for servicing my Mercedes. After contacting Shums Auto for an estimate, I was thoroughly impressed with the service from beginning to end. Kevin and Timothy efficiently scheduled my appointment for the following day, and the pricing was fair. For anyone seeking trustworthy and excellent service, I highly recommend this repair shop. They also provide great snacks, coffee and candy!

I tried Shums for the first time after receiving a coupon flyer in the mail. Kevin is very professional, polite, and followed up with a text to make sure everything was good after the service. The shop is well lit up and clean. I've been taking my vehicles to Reedman for years and it always bothered me how they could never put the inspection stickers on the windshield neatly and clean. Shums cleaned off the old glue and perfectly aligned the stickers. It is the little details that matter most to me so receiving texts and their attention to detail will have me returning to Shums with the rest of my vehicles. Thanks!

I ve been bringing my car to Shums Auto Repair in Southampton for the past couple times. Kevin and Tim take the time to explain things to me and to show what they mean. They are patient, very professional as well as personable.The office is very clean and well maintained. The service is great and efficient.Highly recommend this shop.

I recently needed a new battery and went to Shums. They told me they were putting a certain battery in and the paperwork even went into detail regarding the type of battery. When I got home my husband checked it and was surprised to find it was a completely different battery. We looked up the battery and found it was a lot cheaper than the one they said they put in. My husband called Keven and basically called him out on the discrepancy and told him he was bringing it back and wanted the battery we paid for. He agreed and said to bring it back and was completely unfazed. He had no explanation and wasn t concerned at all. Needless to say we will not be using Shums moving forward and I would not recommend this place to anyone, they are scammers!

I went to Shums for a rather difficult repair, and they did not disappoint. I dealt with Kevin, and he was great. I could tell that he is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with them working on my truck. They got my truck in and out within a few hours and kept the price low. I will definitely be back for future repairs on my vehicle.

Dealt with a lot of shops over the years and have to say this was by far the best. Didn t know about Shum s until my warranty company had them listed as one of their shops. Kevin from the first call was great. Took care of more than I could ask for. Updates with professionalism everyday. Definitely will be using them for now on.

I highly recommend Shum s Auto. I had same day service for inspection and oil change. They sent a video detailing the inspection. What a great addition to the service! The building is new, clean and smells pleasant. The customer service people on the phone and at the desk are knowledgeable and helpful! I will be returning and again. I highly Shum s for an excellent experience and great car care!

The owner Kevin was extremely helpful, and nice. He helped me with some documents I needed to renew and it was great! The shop is so clean and beautiful and I felt really good about having my car inspected here. I would recommend to everyone!

My shop's alignment rack was not equipped to handle my vehicle that has been significantly lowered, and as a mechanic I wouldn't take my vehicle just anywhere. They did s great job on my car and it came out at a price I was very happy with. Would definitely recommend and use them for any other issues I'm not equipped to handle

Great team at this shop, from management to techs. I m very picky and have a hard time trusting my vehicles to just anyone. Kevin and Andrey have both been amazing with communication, transparency, and making sure my concerns are addressed to my standards. Very thankful to have a local repair facility like this.

This is by far the cleanest mechanic I've ever been to. The employees were all extremely nice and accommodating, to the point the manager noticed I was going to rideshare my way home and moved up my service as much as he could to keep me from having to pay for a ride.If you're there in person they walk you through all of the maintenence they recommend and point out the damage that needs attention before touching your vehicle, and from what I've heard they do the same by taking pictures to send you if you're offsite for whatever reason. For what inflation is right now and for how reliably upfront they are the price for service is extremely good! Give them a shot if you're new to the area and are looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

I had a great experience with the auto mechanic I worked with recently. They were a team of normal, down-to-earth people who were friendly and easy to talk to. Not only did they do an excellent job inspecting my car, they are pointed out things that would need attention prior to my next inspection. They also kept their shop incredibly clean and tidy. I appreciated their attention to detail and their willingness to explain the work they were doing. Overall, I highly recommend this mechanic for anyone in need of car repairs or maintenance.I showed up 30 mins early for my appointment while staff was on lunch, a employee came right out and started work right away!Services: Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection
