I just went there to get my photo done for my ID card and that woman had people going thru the line in no time and my son went with us to do his permit test and the gentleman that is also the one who test you with the driving part was as nice as nice could be. We were both nervous about his test but he said he felt ok because it's a really nice environment from the employees there!

Only has renewal done. They were Way more polite and faster than Greensburg.

If I could I d give this place zero stars. My mother went up there today. As an experienced driver who had previously been driving from the age of 13 in Pakistan, she was used to crowded streets and avoiding others who were recklessly driving and then came to America 18 years ago, passed her test and continued driving. She still has a clean record as a driver even now at the age of 43. I only shared this to clear up the fact that she does know how to drive 100%. The driver, because of her head scarf immediately began to treat her differently, loudly exclaiming Do you understand what I m saying with a demeaning tone as if her scarf meant she was an illiterate immigrant that didn t deserve any respect. My mom only realized the intention behind this gesture afterwards. He obviously failed her, despite her perfect parallel parking because he didn t speak up about what he actually wanted which is literally his job-? I highly recommend not to go there (especially if you re Muslim or any race besides Caucasian). The other reviews are believable now that I m looking through, I think it was james who conducted the test, (I m not sure of his name but my mom said he s kind of overweight and has a big stomach) but there is another tester who has a much better track record.

Depending on the hour of your arrival there can be a wait. From my experience, early afternoons seem to have less wait time than early mornings. Staff is polite, professional and helpful. Despite some of the complexities involved in a driver's license center, the staff was always quite patient and considerate even if patrons themselves were not. Timeliness was extremely quick as compared to Maryland MVA's. I have had pleasant experiences here and as long as one brings what they need, you will be in and out in no time.

My experience today was flawless excellent getting my new license. Her sign in sheet said her name Billie she was perfect made my transition very smooth. Thank You all

If you have a son or daughter taking drivers test here and you get there and your instructor is name James you might as well reschedule and find out his schedule so you re child self esteem isn t destroyed he has history of not passing anyone he is rude, arrogant and just all around JERKDonald was amazing, my son said Donald made him at ease and wasn t nervous at all!!!

I just moved here from Illinois, and I was blown away at how nice, helpful, and kind the people are at the Pennsylvania DOT. From all my years of dealing with the Illinois DMV, I started to think it was a workplace rule to be unhappy, rude, miserable people at State run facilities. Thank you PennDot for restoring my faith in humans!!!

I went to the DL center the first week after it opened a(for mycmy license) because of covid-19. I got there before they opened and waited patiently in line with the others. The lady who was directing people into lines as to what services people were there for was like a drill instructor and acted as though she didn't want to be there. I was sent into the photo line and went inside to wait my turn, Since only two people were permitted inside the building because of regulations set by the state. The employees inside the building just kept on talking to the first two let in for their photos as though they were best friends catching up on each other's lives.....no sense if urgency from any of them.

My daughters BF went to take his drivers test and she wanted to record him parallel parking & when she started to an evil woman came out screaming at her "you're not allowed to record in a government building can't you read the signs!" "Delete it now!" Honesty we missed the signs and had no idea. My opinion is learn how to talk to people. Politeness goes a long way. We aren't stupid. Talk to us with sense. You don't have to yell like a raging manic. Guess some folks just let their position go to their head. Use a different facility if you can. This lady went off more than once at people. I think she hates people and has a huge ego.

They really have upgraded this DMV office! It is always fast here and the customer service was great! Very helpful and took their time answering all of my questions.

I had a problem with some of the required documentation but the staff patiently worked with me to solve it. Driving instructor was friendly. The staff that took pictures were also friendly. Good option for drivers test because many other DMVs are booked. The parking lot is pretty ripped up.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Was the fastest experience I've ever had at a drivers center. Will be going here from now on. Beats the one in Richland PA hands down!!

I wish I could put 0 stars!!! The driving instructor is a di*khead! I have be driving since I was 9 years old! I know how to drive!! I should of known wen I seen the 2 people Infront of me fail in 45 seconds... I only drove to this country bumpkin town 2 take my test since the DMV by my house was backed up until August... SmhDO NOT GO HERE

They have really stepped it up.Unfortunately they are closing for a few months for renovations. Check before you go !

This is where the self esteem of young drivers is crushed into oblivion. Any mistake is an immediate fail. I saw six kids take their drivers test and the tester failed every last one of them. Take them to another location

Phone service is trash you wait on hold for 45 minutes to get hung up on the dmv is only open like 2 days a Week it s a total joke hire more people and open both offices 5 days a week I ve been waiting over a month just to learn you guys messed up my paper work again it s great having to pay extra money to extend a lease every month because you guys can t do paperwork correctly

If you are getting the "real ID" bring your whole life's identity along & then expect that you actually didn't bring a paper that you needed. If you were recently married/went through a name change go to the courthouse and get your marriage license. I know you paid some money to be married but you have to pay more bc you normally have your pastor sign that sheet and he/she sends it back in..and you don't recieve a copy.
