Had my battery replaced. I tell ya. I would have said a few choice words. But the gentleman that helped place the battery . Kept his cool and got the job done. Thanks again

Staff has always been helpful. Suspected a battery issue and the staff member tested my battery and saw that the issue was due to a loose connection - which saved me from buying a battery.I always look for businesses that focus more on serving and helping the customer over trying to sell products. They understand that the former leads to the latter as they will get my continued business.

Do NOT buy a battery from this company. If you loose your receipt you battery warranty is worthless. We bought a DieHard Gold about 4 months ago and if we can't find the receipt it will be our biggest paperweight. The battery is in perfect condition on the outside and has not been dropped or scuffed. The battery has a manufacture date of 06/20. I was told this is their corporate policy so be warned. If you do buy a battery from Advanced put your receipt in the safe.

I've never had any issues at this place any time I have come here.With that being said, last week, I needed a new battery. The service I received went above and beyond the call of duty. I normally change out my batteries myself, but the old battery was so corroded that the cables attached to the battery were stuck on. What normally is a 5 min job, took 20 mins just to get the damn battery out! He never once complained about all the extra work and effort it took to do the basic task and was very informant on topics/questions I asked pertaining to my car.Battery was changed out with them taking the old one, free of charge.

FREE BATTERY INSTALLATION? NOPE!I ordered a Battery online, for pickup at Shrewsbury, because the website, and sign in the store window, states they offer FREE INSTALLATION, but I come to the store to pick up my battery, which I had to charge all day to get it to start again, and the guys behind the counter tell me "No".If I make a purchase based on a company policy of free installation, but the store refuses, I think that's terrible customer service.I'm sorry my battery died on a cold day, but that seems to be pretty standard for this weather. If the store doesn't want to install a battery I just paid $150 for, then tell me before I buy it and I'll take my business next door to Walmart.

Brian was SUPER helpful and friendly this morning! I was told by the guy that came to jump my car that my battery was completely shot and I would need a new one.When I came to advance auto, Brian tested my battery, told me it looked good and then asked me to wait for 15 minutes to let it charge and then tested again. He told me I was good to go and saved me so much money! Nothing like a good honest Employee to start your day off right! I will definitely purchase my battery here once it is dead and be back for any car part needs.

My experience was overall a positive one.I came in to get window shield cleaner because someone passing me on the highway threw a drink and hit my car. It was hard to get off but with the products that I was advised to get to clean the mess off my window shield...IT WORKED! I also, was able to get a little something for my car (Air Force emblem) to attached to my bumper.The staff is VERY knowledgeable of their products like replacing headlights and regular maintenance on a vehicle in general. I drive from LEBANON to SHREWSBURY because they don't oversell products and don't give me the run around on what I need and straight to the point as I like it for customer service.Thank you for helping me with keeping my car in proper running order.-Fancy

Majority of the time, the clerks are decent. But there are a few employees that clearly know nothing about cars, trucks, or parts. My main gripe with this location, is the fact online they offer discounts, but my store location never has it in. So you must call and order said part. Then you cant use your discounts. It wouldnt be that big of a deal if the prices werent higher then majority of their competition. So the online discounts make it break even in that regard.

I purchased a car battery here. The staff was courteous. If you can go during daytime hours, I'd recommend it; at the time, it seemed like 5pm came around and EVerybody came in after work! The got busy quick! Employees weren't addled, they politely and efficiently worked their way through the line.The manager himself changed my battery for me right then and there and, hauled off the dead one. A pleasure to do business with.

You better go there by 830 when they close at 9 because this store makes rules that they close early if they don't have a customer by 830. They don't even deserve a 1 star rating

No one acknowledged my existence. No hi hello how you doing?;so forget about can I help you find something. I was circling the store for nearly 20 min. I left without purchasing anything even though I think I found what I needed.

I visited the Shrewsbury PA store on 5/4/21 and the salesman John Zak was so rude. He greeted me with what do you need? I handed him my items I wished to purchase, car fresheners, and he replied Is that all? I told him I also needed up pick up an online order. He gave me my order, snatched my $20 and put my change on counter despite my hand out to retrieve it. I am an African American woman and he treated me as if blacks weren t welcome in the establishment. I normally get my parts from Napa and I m sorry I switched up this time. Never again.

My car battery died and I had to get a jump just to get down to this Advance Auto store to purchase a new one. The young lady there tested my battery to make sure it was bad, gave me three different options for a new one, and let me use a nice cart they had there to swap it out myself. She would have swapped it for me if I could have waited until another employee to arrive, but I really had to get to work myself. I ended up doing it and it went great. They let me use the employee washroom to wash my hands afterwards and then I just went to work. Everyone I encountered in the store was super nice and trustworthy. I'll definitely return there should I need something in the future - a no pressure environment where people just seem to want to help you.

They need more employees. The line for cashier was 6 people long. Also the book for oil filter selection was missing, I had to Google the one I needed then have the clerk verify correct fitment. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

People in store are nice, but online orders do not ever work right, coupons never work, orders never go through correctly, but they hound you with email for coupons that don't work. Store managers are powerless to apply coupons at their discretion... disappointing they cannot honor online offers even if they want to. I showed multiple email from paypal for order attempts, but was still forced to pay full price. Oh and don't bother calling 1877ADVANCE no one ever answers...

I went in to drop almost a few hundred on a car battery and the sales associate was very honest and advised me that my current battery was certainly under warranty. I'll be coming back to return the business to them for coming through for me.

Needed windshield wipers, immediately. I drove to Advance Auto, the sales man helped me out, giving me several choices, and installed my wipers right away. Excellent service.

The employees are rude and are just standing around and offer no help , was looking for battery couldn't find what I wanted asked several of the employees to help all went behind counter and never returned yet I could see them standing back there talking. Finally after 45 minutes I get help and she is looking when another employee asked what she was looking for , since I happened to be the one she was helping and standing right next to her I answered only to be met with I wasnt asking you and then he walked off. Will never go to this place again.

I went to the store to return 2 sets of rotors and brake pads that weren t needed when replacing the brakes on my car. As you may or may not know these are extremely heavy! A man (not a gentleman) employee was standing out front smoking a cigarette watching me try to get these from my back seat to carry in the store. I dropped my keys and wallet trying to open the door while balancing what felt like 50 pounds on my knee bending down to reach my stuff. This man Wyre? something walked in a second or so behind me, comes to register I m at, tells me I cannot return them without my visa! Ok totally fine...however the same jerk that watched me struggle inside, now is watching me struggle right back out? I WOULD BE ASHAMED IF HE WERE MY SON OR COWORKER! Not only is this man lacking common courtesy to others...he is a very poor example of customer service for the store all around. From smoking close the entrance within public view/smell, to a pig headed lack of regard for anyone. INCLUDING HIS OWN DIGNITY AND SELF RESPECT. I am the first to post a positive when I see one...Management needs to take a look at this.

Items are not priced right (starter fluid was marked 3.59, rang up 4.29)and staff doesnt honor the price advertised (Josh) just blamed another coworker for not removing the sign. Half of them stand around smoking, one was actually wearing a kilt smoking 5 ft from the door. Walmart is too close for the staff to act like this. On another occasion they wouldnt put a new battery in my GFs car when the battery was bought there. The guy said "my back hurts I'm not doing it".

Just went to Advance Auto in Shrewsbury, Pa. for windshield washing fluid. Walked in to find that NONE of the Employees (including the Store Manager) were wearing masks!! There is a sign on the door advising that masks are required, but this is obviously not being enforced!! They obviously do not take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and Do Not take the health of their customers seriously. This will be my last visit to this store.

Always great service. Asked them to change our wiper blades and never even batted an eye went right out took 2 seconds and ended with a have a nice day and a hand shake. Appreciate the service!!

My online orders are always ready in less than 30 minutes. Helpful staff. Wire, the store manager is more than a key pusher, he knows his stuff.

The person at the front was nice, my online order was ready to be picked up. I didn t appreciate the two guy who entered the store in front of me wasn t asked to put on a mask before or after entering the store .
