I had a major auto emergency and Melvin kept in contact with me from the first moment. Melvin unfortunately was unable to do the work that needed to be done on my vehicle, but he went above and beyond trying to find someone who would. This kind man helped me tremendously and charged me nothing but for my parts. I cannot thank Melvin enough for his kindness and help in this matter. I highly recommend Melvin's in today's day and age, you are hard pressed to find a business with empathy!Service: Engine repair

It was the pits all they wanted to do is party and drink moon shine. I can say this because it's my brother Business Melvin is a great guy he transformed his shop to a party room to celebrate his wife 60th birthday party. It was a great time. And great guys to do business with. He has been pulling wrenches most of his life. And good at what gift God gave him to do.

Melvin is great! My son was referred to Melvin by his football coach."The Beast" (our 99 Suburban), needed extensive AC repairs. Melvin was fair, reasonably priced and honest in his diagnosis and repair. To know that we can get good and honest car repairs away from home is a blessing and very comforting. I can recommend this business without reservation. Thank you!!

They quoted me 500 dollars to do my front and back breaks. After the work was all done I go in to pay and the charge me 850 dollars. I feel stiffed

Driving from Detroit to Philadelphia, my husband and I had a car emergency and had to stop at a hotel in Shippensburg, PA for the night. Early the next morning, a Saturday, we took the car to Melvin's. Even though they were closed, the mechanic who was on his way out the door took the time to assess our problem and advise a solution. We made it to Philly and back to Detroit. So grateful for the assistance and expertise. Highly recommended.

Best Garage in Shippensburg. The owner Melvin is very friendly. And he is fair with pricing. Also he Dose Great work. We go there for all our automotive Needs.

Seems like a respectable enough place. I haven't had my car worked on but intend on an oil change to start. Owner is a nice guy.

I picked up my recently purchased car from Melvin towards the end of Spring. I was specifically told that the car was in fine operating condition. I only bought the car because I was told this place was reliable and trustworthy. The first problem was immediately noticed when I was heading home later on the same day I bought the car, in which the headlights were extremely weak, which was making driving at night harder and more dangerous because it was hard to see. This problem was not revealed to me by this place. I've only had the car for less than 2 months and already it's having stalling problems, it has trouble turning on in rainy weather, and just the other day, the check engine light is on. This place is not reliable and I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone seeking to buy a car or looking for repairs.

I always take my vehicles to Melvin's when he is available. He does great work and has bee very trustworthy over the ten years I have been going there.

Got a strut diagnosed and repaired here. Fixed me right up for a reasonable price. Job was done in a matter of hours.Highly recommend
