Huge shoutout to Bastian Tire in Shamokin Dam, PA! I got a flat in the middle of a 1500mi business trip and luckily for me it happened 2 miles away from this shop, or I'd probably still be walking back to Massachusetts. They were able to get my car in immediately, and though they didn't have my (odd) tire in stock, they were able to put a solid patch on the sidewall puncture that held strong for the next 3 days/500 miles to get me home to my local tire shop. Very friendly and helpful. Super grateful!

The team at Bastians did a great job getting me in and fixing my tire then also explaining to me what happened to my tire. Thank you guys for your kindness to me and reasonable rates too.

I called 4 places and none of them could get me a tire, I called Bastians and Travis had me one ordered and next day installed for a very reasonable price. I then shortly after leaving had some unfortunate luck but I called the team down there and Evan came out to my assistance and had my vehicle squared away quick. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very informative. Travis and Evan were super helpful, top notch employees that went above and beyond, not often found nowadays thanks again guys ur worth the paragraph of praise.

Best service we ever had. Drove in from NC and needed quick service for a blinking engine light in order to be able to drive back home the next day. They helped us right before closing to diagnose the problem and squeezed us in the next day even though they were fully booked! Places like this are hard to find.

Took very good care of my Baby's feet. She got new tires put on and their prices were way more reasonable than the places I used in NJ. Another place where the hospitality was unforgettable. Thanks Guys!

Great quick service. Friendly staff. Had a great experience every single time I've been there.10/7/2016Update: Will be getting Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires at an Excellent Price today and very thankful for Scott, Keith, Bob, Kyle and the rest of the guys.

Nice to see you care about ur customers, all I needed was a plug in my tire It doesn't take but a few min but you Clint wait just a few min for me to arrive. Was literally only 7 mi. Away but close g at exactly 5 o'clock is apparently the priority

My daughter's car was overheating; she calls me. I tell her, "Find a mechanic or auto store, and pull in. You can't drive it like that."She pulls in to Bastian Tire. Never been there before. Knows no one.I have been thoroughly impressed with this entire experience. Not only did they take care of the problem, but they did their work in short order, and everyone that I spoke with was professional and reassuring. The last gentleman simply stated that they hoped they earned my confidence in them. In spades, gentlemen, in spades.Kudos to Bob, Dave, and (I think) Kevin. I will be recommending this store to as many folks as I can.

I should've listened to a relative who was shorted 2 quarts of oil by this Bastian Tire store and never went again after that, but because most reputable mechanics around here are closed on the weekends, there aren't many good options. First bad experience was I got a $50 oil change that included tire rotation. On the way home I heard a grinding sound from the passenger side tire. I removed the tire myself to find a small rock that was grinding against the rotor. I put the tire back on and considered it a fluke, just an accident right? Not good though for a business that's supposed to specialize in tires. A few months later I went in and was using my laptop while waiting and I had just finished a task 5 minutes before they closed, which the man who rung me up said was ok. After I packed up my laptop and headed to the door, the other guy at the desk said "that a**hole better hurry up or we're gonna lock him in here overnight". He didn't realized I was no longer in the waiting area so I heard him loud and clear. Again, I brushed it off. I work with customers, so I know the feeling of wanting to go home near closing time. However, I do have the tact to know you never talk bad about customers, especially when they're in the building, cause you never know when they're in hearing range. The last bad experience happened on 11/03/12 when I called to ask if they can do a quick oil change. I also called the day before and they said it would be fine, but as a precaution, I even called before I was ready to leave and a woman told me to come on over. I did so, and when I got to the front desk, 2 of there lousy employees rudely told me they would not do the oil change and yelled at the poor woman in front of customers for telling me to come over. TOTALLY unprofessional and unacceptable. I made clear to them my dissatisfaction and they did nothing rectify the situation. Maybe I deserve a bad review for going back to Bastian tire even after they already had proved to me they are insubordinate, but hopefully I can save you from wasting your time like they did to me. I wouldn't go pack if they paid me to work on my car.

Very courtesy men at the desk as well as polite and professional. Took my truck right in for an oil change without an appointmentVery prompt and thorough service . I would recommend Bastian to any one.

The 6 guys at Bastian were unfriendly, unhelpful, and made me feel unwelcome. I asked whether my car could be serviced and they passed me around from mechanic to mechanic, without any real acknowledgement of my problem or that they do in fact run a business. I left after waiting needlessly for 30 minutes. Either they didn't want to work, it was a Friday, or they treated me differently because I was a women. Either way, I've never had such an unpleasant experience before at a tire and auto shop. Bastian isn't doing itself any favors, considering it's location in a small town. I instead found good service and a friendly welcome at Kost Tire in Lewisburg, PA.

Very a good place to buy tires & great service I haven't ever had any problems you usually never need an appointment to get your tires rotated just stop by & they can take care of you very helpful & knowledgeable

They did a r title inspection on a used car to wit my wife unknowingly bought. Upon further inspection the crash bar was bent. Front twisted to point one side window right against roof passenger side was a good half to 3/4 from top. Salesman told wife n grandparents it was hit in front tire and bent A arm and showed picture. NEVER explained about what an R title meant.Also I am sick and tired of all these so called tire specialist shops and not ONE does motorcycle tire changes etc. it s sad ( good for the guy doing it) that a guy with about 3-500 worth of equipment can make enough money JUST changing tires that he can actually make a living at it.Guess these chain stores aren t THAT smart after all.

Called at the last minute for a state inspection. They got me in, inspected the truck and had me back on the road in less than half an hour. Good folks I trust.

Top notched technical car service. They also do tires and brakes. They are the ones that can change an R Title to normal, great people work there.

Great! When I called to see if I could get in today to have a tire replaced, their response was "are you here yet", ha. Good svc., good price, done efficiently. Thanks guys..
