It took a little longer to get my transmission rebuilt than expected, but that was a result of getting bad parts from supplier that had to be sent back and replaced. Happy with the work done and gives a one year or 12000 mile warranty on his work.

Had my transmission rebuilt by him. He had me supply all parts for the rebuild. I was told two weeks until it would be done. After 2 weeks I called to check and he didn't even touch it yet. I got nothing but attitude every time I talked to him. After three plus weeks I got my transmission back and installed it. It has more problems now then when it was taken to him. He was informed of it and did not want to take any responsibility for his work. Now I am out the parts supplied and the money he charged. I do not recommend anyone take any work to him.Service: Transmission

This guy is excellent!!! Best person in central Pennsylvania. Very fair and honest. I take everything to him. I feel very confident if he says it needs it.... it needs it. He will make it right if there's any kind of issues. Very personable nice guy too. I only found him out of luck about a year or so ago. I've been to him several times with all my vehicles. Sometimes he's very busy but that's the price you pay for someone who does a good job for a fair price and who is honest in this kind of business. The five-star rating is not by accident. There's a reason he's five stars that's because anybody that goes here knows this.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Fair prices. Open Monday thru Thursday. Not sure about Fridays. Very good mechanic. He does offer inspection, tire repair, tire mounting and most services required for your auto. Transmissions are his specialty.Not sure about differential/ rack and pinion repair. Doesn't hurt to call and ask.If you check my reviews I don't normally give out 5 stars but this place is worth it.

Ron did a FANTASTIC job at continuing to find all the leaks in my Mustang's (manual) transmission, and there were many of them. After multiple visits to his shop, he got to the last one and fixed it. My garage floor is now dry! And he was VERY fair on what he charged me for all the work he wound up doing on it. I heartily recommend Ron's Transmission in Selinsgrove, PA to ANYONE!!

This man is a mechanical genius. He's apprentence of a drag racing god, Bob Kulp. Hes down to earth and trustworthy. And I could just listen stories of the old days in drag racing and mechaniking for ours.
