Got Tires and inspection last year and was impressed by their work. Went for oil change, tire rotation and inspection this year. and when I got home I noticed that all 4 wheels were scratched and chipped around every lug nut area. It is clear to see the damage was caused by carelessness and the tool used to remove the lug nuts. These pictures show only one wheel.The damage is much more evident when seen in person.

Make sure you check your oil filter for what color it is and make sure they change it when you leave. Because I had my oil changed their last and then I went to another shop because I didn't want to have my car gone all day again so I went to a different shop and they told me that that oil filter hasn't been changed in at least 10000 miles. So make sure you check your. Stuff, people.

Service appointment completed today December 18th, 2023. Great experience as usual from the West Scranton location. Excellent service, knowledgeable and kind. Quick as possible at the right price. Definitely will be back in the future for any vehicle concerns. Thank you so much!!

I highly recommend Kost tire. Victor the manager was great. The service was excellent. I needed a tire looked at, I thought I needed a new one. They looked at it and saw it was just a screw in the tire-fixed it and the air pressure and also didn t charge me. This is huge to me since I went as a single woman. (And have been overcharged at other places) They have my business from now on.

Had to get tires for my daughter's Hyundai Venue. I got a great deal on Uniroyal Tiger Paws. Now no worries when we get that winter weather. Great guys at this location....Thank you Victor, Chris and Pete Banko. I will recommend this shop all my friends and family.Thank you again for everything

Kost was so accommodating, when I needed four new tires, and then an alignment. They stayed an hour later to get my tires on, and got me in for my alignment within a couple of days. Friendly and polite also, Chris and Victor were great. Thank you!

Just got my mom tires for her car a few weeks ago and she has all her vehicle work don't there and they have saved her a boatload of money compared to what the dealer where I bought her the car was gonna charge her for repairs not needed. Great staff and friendly too.

They are one of the best services we had on our corvette. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be back with our other car and would recommend them. We bought 4 tires, inspection, and oil change. We were very impressed by them.

Staff is great, service is prompt and accurate. Prices competitive. If you want to go to every tire shop in town to save $10, this might not be it, but I have been here many times over the years and never been done wrong.Doors open at 7:30am, Techs start working at 8:00am. If you want anything done, you need to get here at 6:30-7:00am. I was there at 6:45, had my breakfast and coffee in the parking lot, and watched as people started pouring in at 7:00am. By 8:00am all the techs were hard at work, and they were telling people to come back tomorrow, or leave their car and they will do their best to get to it.

I can t say enough good things about the crew at Kost in West Scranton. I blew out a tire on the turnpike. The towing service took me directly to Kost and I can t thank them enough. They knew I had a flight to catch and they got to my car as soon as a bay was free. There was some difficulty in preparing my rim for the new tire that required obtaining a tool from one of the other sites. The tire was replaced and I was on my way. They kept me informed during the entire process. I highly recommend Kost. A great group. Thank you Kost.

I was referred to this specific Kost by a coworker. He told me to ask for Vic . Vic got me in when he said he would and the service was great . I had taken the same wheels to Jack Williams the week before and they damaged one of my brand new rims . They did replace the rim but wouldn't even give me some kind of discount to mount the tires . Not even for the inconvenience. I recommend this specific Kost .

Vic Lynn is the most helpful honest up front gentleman I've ever encountered in the industry of automotive repair, he helped me on several occasions when i felt taken advantage of by other shops similar without saying names he made sure all my request were taken care of in a timely fashion and was very HONEST about his and his co-workers ability to get everything done. He has always been on time and he has always told me upfront if he was unable to get the particular repair done within a certain time frame and was helpful with making sure I received the service i requested .. HE HAS NEVER OVER PROMISED NOR UNDER DELIVERED. his team of polite mechanics even gave me some valuable advice and saved me $$ whenever possible. never overcharging me or doing work i did not need done. THANK YOU TO VIC LYNN and his crew keep up the hard work

DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I left my car here for days and spent $700 for them to tell me they can't figure out why it won't drive and wouldn't offer me any refund! I could've gotten more if I would've just junked it! Worst customer service, incompetent mechanics and liars!! Completely ripped me off and showed no remorse.

I called this morning, and spoke w/ a tech regarding an issue I was having with the bonnet on my XF not properly securing. He said bring her in, and they d take a look to see what could be the issue. I got there, spoke w/ a gentleman named Victor, who then came out, took a look, and in less than 2mins fixed the issue. It s almost as if myGurl (my Jag) said thank you . This s one of the reasons why I ve dealt w/ KOST for the past 10years. Outstanding service, knowledgeable and no nonsense.Thanks!- Gordon, D USN Ret.

I love Victor at Kost on 9TH st in West Scranton! He makes it so easy and always takes such good care of customers. I have been using ONLY Kost Tire for over 10 years because Victor is there! Thank you so much:)

Had just replaced front tie rods on an R32 Skyline during a visit in Scranton and the shop that was supposed to do the alignment said my car was too low for them to get on the ramps. I had planned to drive home that night so this was a bit of a predicament. After a lot of running around I ended up at this Kost Tie & Auto, and was originally told by the manager there that they wouldn't have time to fit me in due to short notice, and did not have the alignment specs for my vehicle (not really a surprise) but could at least check things out for me. But after hearing about my situation, one of the technicians, specifically Kyle Santos, went out of their way to help and try to find people who could help me and ended up speaking with Victor Lynn, the manager, and they worked together to fit me in on short notice and using some borrowed specs from a 240sx and my manual to set my front alignment up so I could get home. It was done within an hour and was as straight as I could ask for, with no issues at highway speeds. Staff was polite, showed concern and interest, and was very efficient with their process. I appreciated their hospitality and kindness. Would definitely recommend going here and will be doing more business with them in the future when I need it. Thanks again guys!

Had a flat repair done. Wish their coffee machine was in use as in other kost. Good service and got me fixed as soon as they could. Management were easy to talk too

On July 14th, 2023 I purchased two performance tires from the Kost Jefferson Ave., Scranton store, each of which cost $425. After the tires were computer balanced I left the store and immediately experienced a severe out of balance condition at highway speeds. Upon contacting the Jefferson Ave. store I was told that the tires required high speed balancing at the Kost West Scranton store. The employees at the West Scranton store attempted to balance the tires and then told me both front wheels were damaged and there was nothing they could do. This I knew not to be true and this was confirmed by the wheel repair company Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. Jack Williams tire company of Moosic Pa. successfully computer balanced both tires and my car rides smooth as glass. This obviously cost me extra time and money. I think the Kost employees need some serious retraining.

Originally had my truck at Steve Shannon for a front end alignment I made an appointment today ahead of time for 10:30 in the morning the next day and I dropped my car off the guy asked me if I wanted to stick around and I said no I only live a few blocks away so I figured that meant you would only be an hour or so working on it boy was I wrong first they had it for just over 24 hours without even having brought it in yet and 2nd they neglected to tell me 6 parts I would need before I could even get an alignment only telling me two of those parts which I then spent over a week repairing finally I got sick and tired of waiting and just the adult attitudes of the workers and took my car to Coast Tire and Auto where not only did they get me aligned but also not only told me but showed me exactly what needed to be replaced which I have no idea how the other guy missed it as Steve Shannon it was nothing hard to look at and see and I even called Steve Shannon corporate office and they were more concerned with covering their own skin rather than making good on the issue. As far as cost to go as though they were nothing but courteous helpful and even hook me up with a special package deal so I wouldn't have to spend as much money on my next alignments A+

Had horrible experience at Jack Williams and long story short I showed up at 2pm on a Saturday with less then 2 hours to close at your 9th Ave location in Scranton. Needed a simple install for sidesteps on a truck. Your staff went above and beyond to help me and my wife. Installed the parts in under in hour for an incredibly fair price. Their outstanding techs seemed to enjoy working on our truck making us much more comfortable that they would take care with her. We will be back soon for any service, repair or upgrade needs we have. Please let your entire staff know they are appreciated.

My husband got new tires for his truck. They only had three of the tires in stock, so they gave him a rental car for overnight, had the fourth tire specially shipped in and put it on, and call to tell him it was ready before 10 a.m. the next day. And told him about a rebate offer. Clean place, excellent customer service!

Called to set up an appointment forall alignment and was told first come first serve. Got there at the time suggested and was in and out just as advised. Car is back to normal and they didn't do extra repairs that weren't asked for but was politely suggested. The price was competitive and coffee was pretty good too. No issues to start this holiday weekend. Thank you Kost!

I'm really disappointed. I've been a loyal customer for years and the last time I came to Kost it was excelente, but now I had a bad experience. I came yesterday to make an appointment to chance my tires and I was told I don't need an appointment, just come the nex day. They Open at 7:30 AM. I arrived 7:45 and I was told that I should wait for 3 or 4 hours. How it can be possible if I asked for an appointment the day before and they said just came the next day. I woke up early and hope My car done on tiene to work, but I had to leave without service.
