I had a very pleasant experience with this JW location! By far, the best personal experience with any car shop ever. They immediately addressed my concerns as soon as I walked in. Evaluated my car, addressed and fixed the problem very quickly! I was there with my 3 children, they made sure my kids were comfortable. They put on a movie to watch and gave them refreshments. These men are great, especially Chris the assistant manager. I appreciate all their hard work and professionalism. I can t say enough good things about the wonderful men on this team! I would definitely recommend this location to anybody. 15/10 rating for sure! Thank you for all your help. God bless!

Had a great experience at Jack Williams today. Chris was very helpful with information that I needed. He was also able to quickly schedule me to have my car looked at. There was a noise coming from my car and they immediately looked at my car and found the issue and also gave me the status of my car health. Thank goodness they are available on Sundays!

The employees at this location were awesome! So helpful and full of good conversation. They didn't try to pressure or con me into things as a female this means a lot. They explained everything and answered all my questions. I cant recommend this place enough! Thank you for everything

I found a nail in my tire that had been causing a leak, after repeatedly filling my tire with air, I decided to bring it into Jack Williams because they always provide quality service and care. The staff is very friendly and always gives useful advice. I highly recommend them for car service.

Jack Williams Tire & Auto Service Centers location 119 Linden St Scranton pa. I needed my rear coil springs and rear shocks done. I called and asked how much? This is just for the labor. At first they told me $180. Cool! Then I get a call and they tell me $220. Then after having my car for 4 days! The final cost that I owed them was $510!!!! For what right! Well they call and tell me my car is rusted and because of that my bolts kept snapping. Which rust is normal and the bolts snapping is not my fault. I know stuff happens. I was told I wasn t going to be charged for the bolts. Than I get a call and they tell me that it would be an additional 2 hours. Never told me how much those 2 additional hours would cost me. Which ended up being $149 per hour!!!! Because they had to bring in a welder why?! I truly believe because of something the mechanic did wrong I had to paid for it. If they would had told me how much per hour that would have costed me. I would have took my car somewhere else. The manager and assistant manager both had an attitude with me. I believe because I didn t know much about cars and that I m a female they took advantage of that. So for that they will never get my business again! 0 stars

I found a nail in my tire and went to jack Williams(Mavis) to have them take a look. They were friendly and very efficient. Tire was fixed and I was on my way within 30 minutes. The staff was very professional and I would encourage anyone to use their services.

Took my truck to Jack Williams on linden street to have a flat fixed. The two guys at the counter Chris and Jarid took care of everything, gave my truck and once over and were able to identify another problem. My rear wheel had a rubber boot broken. Fixed everything and all is well. Will definitely return to have this particular shop work on the truck again. Thank you!

Aaron and Stephen quickly and efficiently identified a nail in my tire that had been causing a slow leak. After repeatedly filling my tire with air, I decided to bring it into Jack Williams because they always provide quality and timely care for my car. The staff is always friendly and I can count on their honest work! 10/10 recommend.

Stopped in late because had a tire blow the night before and my pressure was off. These guys took care of it in minutes, aired it up, checked all tires and even looked to see if spare could be fixed. So kind and willing to help

Excellent service and excellent work. Parts are a bit overpriced, but they do bring your own parts labor.Francis at the front desk exceeded my expectations yet again by helping me price out and explain everything I needed to know.

I've been coming here for years but never again. It seems like there is new staff here now, and the standards here are now at an all-time low. I asked 3 times how long it would take to have new tires installed, and they told me, "1-hour". I told them that I would be back in 1 hour and my car wasn't even attended to yet. I called customer service and got my deposit back and made a complaint. If they would've told me it took 3 hours I would have dropped the car off for the day. Ill be spending my money elsewhere from here on out for all of my cars.

I hate having to bring my car into the shop. It s always an anxiety-inducing experience, so the last thing I wanted to do with my day was deal with a flat tire.I took a chance on Jack Williams with the expectation I d have to deal with greedy service writers, upselling me on needless repairs. I m beyond pleased to say my visit was stress-free, and that s all thanks to Chris G. He was kind, courteous, and even got me to laugh (which is a tricky feat). Along with a new customer, Chris and team have earned my confidence to leave my car repair worries in their hands. Thanks for all you do!

The receptionist, Andrey, is very kind and informative. His name is pronounced as ON-DRAY. The process of scheduling an oil change in-person is free of hassle. The location's sign does display 'Jack Williams Tire & Auto Center', but inside will display 'Mavis Discount Tire'; therefore, do not be alarmed because you are at the correct location.

Mounted 2 of my snow tires backwards, lost a valve cap, and didn t inform me of swollen lug nuts.Drove to North Dakota after having my tires mounted. After a few hundred miles I noticed that both of my drivers side tires were mounted backwards, as the rotation arrow and tread were backwards. Got the issue corrected at a Mavis in Chicago. They informed me that I had swollen lug nuts that could be an issue in a flat tire situation. I was not told of this when I originally had my tires mounted.By the time I got to ND, the highway was icy, and I passed about 7 cars that had slid off the side of the road or collided with other cars. That easily could have been me if I hadn t gotten my backwards tires remounted correctly.Please have your technicians check their work carefully. Their seemingly innocent mistakes could injure or kill drivers.I will never return to the Jack Williams/ Mavis on Linden St in Scranton.

My family and I got a flat on our way through Scranton traveling back to NY from a vacation. We happened to be right by this tire center and lucky we were! They were professional, quick, got us back on the road in under 15 minutes and wouldn't take any money for their time or labor. Please support this truthful, hardworking and friendly business if you are in the area.
