As a regular traveler and safety rep, I am completely appalled.Unbelievably worst hotel encountered. How they were even able to operate is mind blowing. Nothing but a huge fire hazard. They placed us all the way at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor, which the hallway was full of construction debris and furniture. I had to climb over a sofa to get to the room and my child tripped over debris. We purchased the stay through Expedia which we put in for pet friendly at $142. Even with insurance, expedia couldn't refund without hotel managements approval. So at arrival around 12-1am, the woman accepted $100 cash ($20 per dog) as well as $20 cash for snacks and drinks. We stayed there for less than 8 hours and it cost us $450 due to ridiculous charges of $180. The worst part of all of this is the general manager Brandy who is the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken with. Not only did it take over a month to have her return our phone call regarding these false charges, she immediately raised her voice at me once I brought up the word refund. I made sure the linens were stripped, trash was removed, towels were set to be taken and easy to be cleaned. I own a cleaning company for airbnbs so I have appreciation for others, especially hotel. Hotels are an experience! A huge part of a memory for most visitors. The way its cleaned, prepared and maintained should be shown once you arrive. This hotel lacked all. Two of the beds didn't even have a sheet on it and the pillows were old, crusty, and yellow throw pillows shoved into pillow cases. There were only two towels in the bathroom when knowing 5 guests are staying. While showering in the morning, the lights to the whole hotel went out. After experiencing all of this, I should have requested and received a full refund. I wouldn't have stayed there for free.

Traveling with my brother, who needs a handicap accessible room, we were moved to the Comfort Inn & Suites after a problem at another hotel. We were very happy with our stay! First of all, the handicap accessible room (although on the second floor) was very spacious and easy for my brother to move his wheelchair around. The bathroom was bigger and the shower seat was bigger than the hotel we moved from. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was adequate. We have family in the area and I won't hesitate to stay here again.

Would not recommend while they are renovating.Melissa was great, but the remodel crew and the other employee there were horrendous. That crew makes me never want to stay with Comfort Inn if this is the kind of people they hire to help with renovations. I'll go to BW or Candlewood.

I wish they would open something closer to Elmira. Dirty linens sat outside of rooms overnight. Broken furniture in the hallway due to renovations. I hate that they use couches to sit on for breakfast. The key cards hardly worked, they had to be reset several times (no they weren't near anything that would deactivate them). Kids in the hallway after 11 p.m. running up and down the hallway, screaming and laughing.

Awesome experience! The room was much nicer and bigger than expected. Our room had a stove which was a big deal for us.They allowed us to have part of our feline family.Very kind and understanding staff.Much nicer than a more expensive hotel we just left.Walkability: Walmart is very close.Several food places close by.

My fianc and I stayed here two nights while visiting family in the area. The staff was friendly. Special shoutout to the woman who runs the breakfast area in the morning. She was very cheerful. The breakfast was nice. Our room and the areas of the hotel we were in were clean and well kept. Overall a good experience. Would recommend and stay there again.

Our family was going back to our home in the car after visiting New York City on road. While on the way back home we decided to stay nearby hotel to avoid traveling during night and we found a room at Comfort Inn in Elmira, PA and booked enroute and reached the hotel which was rightly located near the highway. We checked-in without any issue and the room was neat and tidy with all amenities the beds were pertinent , however, the pillows were not normal short pillows, which looked odd but were not much uncomfortable. The breakfast was OK but the menu did not suite us as we don't consume ham. The egg omelet was provided but again stuffed with ham. Our children requested the chef to prepare for us just an omelet which the chef prepared happily which is appreciated. We recommend the management, to keep the menu of breakfast in such a way that it will be suitable for all types of people. The staff was friendly and was doing their respective jobs. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym. The overall stay was pleasant and we happily checked-out after taking the breakfast and moved on our journey home.I saw some reviews which said the receptionists were not friendly. I recommend the management to conduct a couple of customer service training sessions for the staff so that all the staff will exceed the expectations when interacting with the customers. The overall experience of stay was very pleasant and the cost of stay was reasonable but could be improved as well. Finally, thanks for the staff of the Comfort Inn Elmira, PA for making the stay pleasant.

Love everything about this hotel, location, beds are super comfy, close to food, spacious rooms, quiet, great breakfast, friendly staff- they make you feel like family. Two things to make it perfect: queen or king pillows instead of the little square ones and more water pressure-everything else about the bathroom is awesome! LOVE the walk in shower version a tub/ shower combo. Keep up the great work!

We stayed here for a few days and a few minor issues but they were resolved and the rest of our stay was nothing short of perfect. We've hosted several kids birthday parties because we like warm and welcoming atmosphere here. Every staff member was friendly and courteous to me and my family. And its been consistantly this way for years. Clean rooms, good breakfast and a great staff...im giving them a solid 5 stars.

They have the GREATEST, Professional workers I have ever dealt with in any of the Hotels that I have stayed at across the Country. They know what being "Courtesy" means. They have a good spread for Breakfast food, Comfortable beds, Great Housekeepers, Great Front desk workers, Awesome Managers. They treat you like Family.. On a scale of 1-10, I would have to give them a 15. They have Good, Clean rooms. They CARE about their Guests.

Where to start...I had high hopes. My husband was admitted to the hospital about 2 miles away, and because we live a great distance I decided to stay local. The night before, I stayed at a competing hotel, but decided to look elsewhere because they had no pool for my 12 year old son. I came across this hotel which seemed to have decent reviews and a pool...while I won't say the entire experience was all horrible, I would say I was underwhelmed. The room was clean and the line's fresh. Down side, they don't have much of a channel selection on TV. They have directtv on demand and while this might seem great, it's not if you don't have great internet connection all the time. On countless occasions my sons shows would not load. The pool....NOPE. They have a light that changes color in the pool ( I guess for effect) Even my 12 year old said that light is to cover the dirty water. The water looked stagnant, the smell of chlorine set off my asthma and someone left kids floaties in the pool...it just looked sad...nothing like the picture. To sum it all up...the hotel down the road 89.00...no breakfast, no pool, lots of channels and a little kitchenette where I could make my own breakfast. This hotel...clean room , breakfast, bad internet, no tv selection, and dirty pool...145.00. Conclusion...I'll be staying at the other hotel next time.

I love this place. The staff are always super friendly, and helpful. They welcome pets. They recently had the pool renovated and it's amazing. The breakfast is hot and amazing. They serve foods such as bacon, eggs, pancakes, and so on. The rooms are clean and cozy. The outside area for pets is a little limited, but more than enough for any four legged family member to handle business. I will stay again, and again. Please utilize this facility and allow for this chain to offer their services instead of the surrounding chains that aren't pet friendly.

Looks like a nice hotel. Probably just depends on the staff and the guests. We had a huge problem. Watched a child get hit in the pool and hurt. Then watched the mother of the kid who caused the problem threaten to assault the mom of the kid that got hurt. Then Also witnessed another kid get hurt. When I brought the issues to the staff. They said there was nothing they could do. There was a lot of baseball kids here. It actually got worse as the night went on. I saw more kids in the pool causing issues. Again staff did nothing. Apparently that s common here as they get a lot of these groups and they don t have staff at the hotel to monitor anything.

Rooms were very clean, price was great, beds were comfy. We choose hotels with breakfast included because we have 4 children and it is cheaper and convenient to eat on site. Breakfast was fine: eggs, sausage links, waffle batter and self use irons, cereals, toast, etc. We were comfortable and would stay here again.

The lady at the front desk was the rudest person I ve ever met in my life. And not just once, the ENTIRE weeks stay. Gave us a hard time about asking for towels, was very demeaning and short and just blatantly rude. The rooms are wonderful, the place is clean. But they seriously need to reconsider who they have behind the desk to greet their guests.

I stayed at this hotel on 2/22/22-2/23/22. I am a travel nurse. I worked a 16 hour shift from 3pm-7am and had to be back to work at 7pm. I booked a room so I could sleep for a few hours before working my next shift. I called to see if I could check-in earlier than 3pm. The front desk employee said that I could. That was great. The check-in process was simple and quick. My room was clean and spacious. Here is the reason I only gave the hotel 3 stars: As soon as I got into my room, I heard dogs barking. The room next to mine had a couple dogs and they barked and barked and barked. I love animals but try falling asleep with dogs barking continuously. I didn't complain to the front desk because I didn't want the dogs and their owners to have to leave. When I checked in, I did tell the front desk that I was there to sleep. I don't think they should have put me in a room next to barking dogs. And I know that the front desk could hear them because the rooms were right past the swimming pool.
