Did a great job repairing my damaged floor, looks better than new! Walt is very easy to talk to and understood all my concerns, kept me up to date so I never had to call him.

We found a leak on our camper roof. We called all around to all of the big shops, and nobody could get us in for repair until September or later. We found this OFF THE BEATEN PATH repair center, and they were able to accommodate us within 2 weeks. They offer a full year warranty on their work, plus a 10 year on the rubber roofing material. We dropped it off yesterday. They were very professional and accommodating. I also found out they have a service van for house calls!!! I will update this post when the work is actually finished, but we are quite happy so far!!!

I had a problem with our RV Toilet and i bought a new one and tried to replace it. Unfortunately I had not been able to get it seated correctly. I called the campground where we were going to be staying. They recommended this company. I called and they said they could be out the same day. They were out in the early evening. They reinstalled the toilet with a new seal. They even put in a shut off valve to the toilet which will help if a future problem. I'd highly recommend company if in Western PA.

In March 2021, Walt, the owner, replaced the bathroom and livingroom sub-flooring in my camper that was damaged due to a water leak. As I checked out the work when I picked my camper up, it didn't seem right. The floor in the bathroom still felt soft in several spots. I mentioned it to Walt, and he said that's normal, and that his 5th wheel is the same way the floor is somewhat flexible. I understand that's the case in RV's many times, but this issue is way beyond a flexible floor. He told me that he stands by his work, and that the floor is stronger than it was before because he used 1/4" plywood instead of 1/8" that the manufacturer used. The floor is actually very weak, and I heard a "crack" sound when I walked on the bathroom and livingroom floors. Now, the floors are very unstable, and cannot be walked on. I peeled back the linoleum on top of the floor that he replaced, and was horrified at the poor workmanship. (Pics are attached) It's no exaggeration when I say that I have called Walt at least 20 times since May 2021. I have also left several messages. He called me back a few times, but offered no resolution. I asked him to just return some of the money I paid him which was several thousand dolars!! so I can have someone else come and repair it properly. He flat-out refused to give me any money back. He seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, and has not responded to any of my calls, texts, or emails. Do not use 1st Choice RV Repair. They do shoddy work, don't stand behind it, and they're unresponsive when you call about a problem.

called 1st choice back in June to have black tank valve replaced and they stated they would be out that Friday if the part came in or Tuesday at thelatest. After not showing either day i called and was told part did not come in and they would get back to me. after 1 week i ordered the part myself and installed it myself.. It has been 6 weeks and they have not had the common courtesy to call me back. I would recommend making first choice your LAST CHOICE.

After our accident, we reached out to 1st Choice to give us a quote on our rv for repairs, we were told he would come last Saturday first thing in the morning. Around 10am we called to find out that he wasn't coming. He would call us at the beginning of the week to schedule for something during the week. Again not hearing from him we called. We were now told he would come this Saturday (Today). AGAIN NO SHOW. We called twice today to make sure we were still on his schedule and no response. DO NOT MAKE THIS YOUR 1ST CHOICE!!!!!!

Walt worked on my family's RV after a 5000+ mile trip. Although he was slammed with work he still took us in and called us promptly after he finished the repairs and maintenance. He greased the chassis and does repairs to the cabin. He also claimed all repairs that he could under warranty and didn't recommend us buying repair parts that he could fix himself.Overall great service and Walt is a straight shooter. We'll continue to go to his shop.

These guys were fantastic! They just happened to be in the campground for someone else and stopped to help us! We had a major electrical issue and figured out the problem and helped us fix it right away! I cant thank them enough for being so kind! Super reasonable on their fee too considering it was basically an emergency call!Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

We had an issue with our AC on our travel trailer at a local campground. They were able to come right out and help us get it fixed same day. Nice guy, great rates, quick service.

I would not use this service. I tried to get Walt to do a warranty repair on our RV furnace. After several months of no shows and no phone calls I had to find someone else.. Walt is very unreliable.

Walter the owner told me he would look at my project next week and call me with an estimate, it's been several weeks and no word. If you can't rely on a man's word you can't rely on the man.

You won t find a better RV service place around!! Walt and Ken are top notch and won t hit you with ridiculous service prices. They saved my vacation last year - can t thank them enough!!

Very reasonable prices. The guys have over 60 years of experience between them. I would go here before Cooper's or Valero's.
