Purchased a 2019 Volvo XC 90, 3/11/24.The vehicle was exactly as described, Art and Nate were very straight forward and knowledgeable. They offered a fair trade value and the purchased vehicle under market value. Outstanding experience all around!

European Motors is a "diamond in the rough." Excellence in business and customer service is not always the norm. Yet, this company is the real deal. I've bought numerous cars over time and this was one of my best experiences. Due to an accident, I was looking to replace my Saab 9-5 Wagon. I went through a laborious Web search and narrowed my choices until I ran across European Motors. A Volvo XC60 with a good Carfax caught my eye. Despite not having an appointment, a very nice guy took time to show me the car and let me drive it. Sold! The car was "clean," rode well and a very good value. I looked over their inventory and liked the selective choices. Due to my bank mostly having an online presence, processing took a few days but Nate was excellent in communication and worked with me to pick it up on a weekend day as I traveled from Delaware. I drove down the street and picked up a temporary tag. European Motors is one of those rare small high-quality businesses that you are forced to appreciate. I'm impressed by this business and the guys who work there. Their limited warranty is rare. I urge others to beat the dealers' overhead and find a great buy at European Motors!

If I could give more stars than five, I would.Two weeks ago I purchased a vehicle for the first time. Nate at his European Motors could not have been more helpful, laid-back, and easy to talk to with a car-purchasing novice throwing tons of questions his way. At no point was he pushy, forward, or trying to make a sale as often car salesman are portrayed.I truly get the feeling he is genuinely interested in maintaining a strong customer base by being honest, helpful, and knowledgeable about the Volvo brand. My 2008 XC90, which he serviced to the fullest, has been a dream car thus far and I cannot be happier. On a test drive I suggested that one of its rotors was perhaps warped, so he replaced every rotor with new parts and fixed a hydraulic issue with the engine hood for no added cost.In the future I will happily seek his service and knowledge, perhaps even another vehicle in the years to come. European Motors has certainly made a repeat customer out of me.

The only place to take your Volvo for service. I have taken both of my Volvo s here over the years, and have always gotten quality service at a fair price. Never felt anything unnecessary was done or I was being taken advantage of. Was told if work could wait or needed to happen sooner. Also would buy any car offered for sale on that lot.

First experience was a real good one. Nate and Dooz were knowledgeable, helpful and straight forward. No pressure and stellar reputation made it easy to make our 1st pre-owned Volvo purchase. Maverick and Remington assisted expertly in their laid back manner.

I needed a computer issue looked at for my Volvo. Dooz was able to quickly diagnose the problem (a software update from the dealer). He then was able to get me in for my requested oil change and car performance review. Pleased with the outcome and reasonable pricing, especially in comparison to others who have serviced the car for me.

I am so happy to buy my new car at European Motors Volvo. The owner, Nathan, Sales person , Art, and all crew are nice and beautiful include dogs there. Enjoying to drive C70 at this moment. Absolutely going back again even though 2 hrs drive from NJ.Thank you!

Nate has taken exceptional care of all of our Volvo s over the years. We have even purchased from him and he stands behind every vehicle he sells. With his crew taking care of our vehicles I know we will get the most life out of them and they will last us well past 300k miles

European Motors has a great crew, friendly, very knowledgeable, and they get the job done on time. I've been a customer for about 5 years and have never been disappointed with their work. If you need your Volvo fixed in the Reading area, they are the place to go.

Recently bought my second Volvo from Nate, and they both are reliable and run strong. I have been going here for many years and never had any troubles. He s very straight forward and keeps things professional, which is something I personally like. Overall, it s always a great experience with Nate at European Motors.

If you value honesty,integrity,and transparency in your auto repairs European Motors is the place to go for your Volvo.I'm one of those customers that wants every little squeak addressed and repaired and Nate has never failed to correctly diagnose and repair my car effectively,plus I usually learn a thing or two about it!I've bought 850s,S60s and V70s from Nate and look forward to my next purchase and service with him. Nathan is a great guy to work with. He made the entire exchange super simple and easy. He did most of the paperwork and setup the shipping for the car, all I had to do write a check. I highly recommend Nathan and European Motors for anyone nationwide. The car I purchased was in very well kept condition, after almost a year of driving and regular maintenance nothing has gone wrong.

Nate and his team are absolutely wonderful to deal with! I don't trust my Volvo to anyone else's care. Their service is always expert and honest. And doggie greeters, Maverick and Remington, are the very best customer service pups in the business.

I bought a used 2004 S60 from Nate in Spring of 2022. I live in Ohio, but traveled to PA to buy from him because he was very upfront over the phone about the condition, and history, of all of his inventory. I was looking at 3 different S60s and found the best fit - coincidentally it was one of his customer's cars that he had maintained for the previous 4 years or so I felt like he really stood behind his work.On the drive home the CEL came on and a headlight went out. Both were crapshoot bad luck breaks: a cracked spark plug and a failed headlight ballast. Nate honored his 30day/1,000mi warranty and everything is getting fixed free of charge.While buying a car out of state can be a hassle, I'm happy with my purchase, my service, and his communication.Nate's shop is also clean and organized - My Grandfather was a GM Master Mechanic and that was his eyeball test about the quality of a mechanic's work.Thanks Nate.-Matt

We've been going to these guys for our Volvo service for years. I don't trust too many people, but I do trust Nate at European Motors. Good dude, nice shop, and knowledgeable mechanic. He's made me a loyal customer.

Bought my first Volvo here 6 months ago. They are very knowledgeable and completely no pressure. The car I bought was one they were up front with me about and said it isn t typically one they would offer to sell there, but with everything they went over and replaced before I bought it, I had great confidence it was a great choice for what we had to spend. I m thinking this won t be the last Volvo I buy and they are my first stop next time.

I had my 2009 Volvo S80 here on 2-15-2022 to have a noise coming from the engine bay checked out. They charged me for 3 hours of labor to diagnose the problem and concluded it must be the water pump. They replaced the water pump only to realize that it was NOT the issue. I was charged $673.15 to replace a water pump that did not need to be replaced and 3 hours of labor to "diagnose" the issue. I got my car back, noise louder than ever, power steering fluid was so overfilled it was leaked out of the vents on the reservoir cap, had too much engine oil for some reason and neither were like that when I brought it in. To top it off, they told me the noise must be inside the engine block. I took it to the Volvo dealer 2 weeks later, they charged me for half an hour of diagnostic time to find the problem, and they were able to successfully fix it (bad one-way clutch pulley). This was the only experience I have had with European Motors and I will not return.

[Update] Two years after this first review we have now bought our 5th and 6th Volvo's from Nate. Our experiences have been so positive that we actually bought our most recent ones (2015 XC60 and 2018 S60) without even taking them for a test drive. The transactions went perfectly and we are completely satisfied with the latest purchases. Well done!Great service, quality used cars. Nate had always done a great job servicing our old S70 so when it came time to buy a new (used) car to replace my wife's Subaru this was one of the first places we checked even though we had moved out of the area. All of his vehicles are good values at their respective price points but we finally picked a 2012 XC90. It had 90K on it which might be high for another car other than a Volvo but Nate carries cars that have been well maintained and would offer no surprises. The buying process was easy, no haggling needed, and we have been very happy with this car. It is in better shape than one with a fraction of the miles on it. Trust this guy, you won't go wrong.

I purchased a 2012 Volvo from Nate, and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the car. I have bought and sold a lot of cars over the years, particularly Volvos and Saabs and currently have 3 Volvos. Nate is knowledgeable, professional, and the car was exactly as advertised. I will definitely recommend him to friends and go back when I need another Volvo.

I've taken my Volvo elsewhere in the past, but once I began bringing here, I won't go anywhere else. Very accommodating with getting car scheduled for maintenance. I appreciate the honesty and thorough explanation for every procedure they perform. Trustworthy mechanics!!

When you buy a car from Nate ensure that the battery is new and does not die the next morning. Check to be sure the air filter is clean and does not have a mouse nest. Take the car to another mechanic before you buy it. When Nate says it has had a lot of repairs he means it needs lots of repairs in excess of $2,000. Don't call and leave a message as he does not return phone calls, if you need to speak to him, go there in person.Lastly ask for the parts that he has replaced to ensure he did replace them.

If you have Volvo and want it serviced this is an outstanding specialist shop that far exceeds what you will find at the dealership. They gave me some very useful tips on extending the life of my 2015 V60 such as changing the oil every 3,000 miles (the dealership says 10,000) and using better grade grade gas (the dealership says regular). They do everything in a timely, organized manner and obviously know Volvos extremely well. They also have some good used Volvos at excellent prices. Highly recommended!

Have always had great experiences bringing my 2004 S60R to European Motors. Very knowledgeable and always willing to tackle any issue I have. The experience and service they offer for the price is the best in the reading area.

Excellent work, fair quotes, honest recommendations. My xc70 has been going here for years without an issue. Nate will tell me what really needs to be done, nit just upsell to make a profit. My next car will be a Volvo so that I can keep these guys as my garage

Nate and Aaron are stand up guys. My brother and father both bought used vehicles here and have them serviced. Having a mechanical background I know speaking to Nate he is very knowledgeable about these vehicles and is willing to help us save money doing minor repairs ourselves and offering opinions and helping out with parts when needed. My dad put over 50,000 miles on his xc90 in two years not bad considering it was over 100k on it when he bought it. These guys help keep them running.
