I went to Midas of Melody Lakes based on a recommendation and it did not go well. I went in for new tires for my truck and each wheel came out damaged in some fashion. I have black wheels and if the employee thought that might be an issue they should have refused to perform the work. If during the work the employee noticed the wheels chipping and were damaged they should have contacted me as I was waiting in the waiting area the entire time to confirm if I would want to continue. They did none of the above and have only told me its the risk with having black wheels, so I have to fix the damage they caused.Do not go to this Midas location for tires as they will damage your wheels and will tell you well its your problem. I have attached the before and after pictures of my wheels so others don't make the same mistake I did with this Midas.Service: Tires

Dropped off my truck today to get a price on something. Very good impression so far. Great communication from the general manager Kevin and they even directed me to a person to do body work as they do not offer the service. Feel in good hands so far.

Best expierence in my life! My car broke emergency when I come back from Floeida with my rv trailer in day snow storm. Nobody else want's fix my car and deliver parts. Kevin owner finally find one place with the parts and send friend to pick up parts and he stays with his mechanic overtime and finish my car. They do great job and thanks for him I go back save home. Thank You guys. You are the best!!!

Spent a lot of time and money here and my truck is still not fixed. Nice people here but too expensive, go elsewhere than a chain such as this bc they really don t care about fixing your vehicle it s only about the bottom line

Great experience,Management very nice and machinic are very good and respectful. Also the while waiting it was awesome to look at the old stuff they had in there. Also they a nice sitting area with tv and the bathrooms are really clean as well. Called for inspection and emission appointment (I waited until last minute) I was offered an v appointment for the next day, or other days if I preferred. I was given clear price information and it was accurate for me at pick up. My vehicle was done at the time promised. Everything went well.

This is my new regular place to go get my car repaired. They know what they are doing, and work with you to make sure you only get what needs to be down, making it as inexpensive as possible. They also have a pretty quick turnaround for most things. Had an emergency situation. The owner Kevin was very understanding and assured me that they would get to my Yukon as soon as possible. It was looked at fairly quickly and Bruce the mechanic took the extra step to make sure what he had done fixed the problem. It turned out that it didn t and a part was needed. The only downside to my experience is that the wrong part was sent and we had to wait for the right one. Overall, it was a 3 hour wait with my 2 yr old daughter with me. This wasn t bad because the waiting room is nice. There are leather seats, hdtv, plus all the amenities you would find in a car dealership waiting room. Kevin was very accommodating and even gave my daughter a little car to keep her busy. Being there that long allowed me to see and hear how business was done. Kevin was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly to customers. Prices seemed reasonable and service reliable. I highly recommend Midas of Melody lakes for all of your vehicle needs.

There costumer service is awesome! The owner (Kevin) is super polite n very professional and people friendly! I ve been a mechanic for over 30 years and I must admit this is the first time I ve had another mechanic work on my car that s been this polite and not try to do any funny funbusiness the prices are Great. I highly recommend Them to anyone for services they re great and as I said the prices are terrificServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

After working a 12 hour shift I had an appointment scheduled here at Midas. I explained to them the issues I ve been having with my car prior to the appointment. The issue is my car not starting. I am under warranty and I bought a new battery which wasn t the problem because the car still did not start. The car was sitting for about 3 days prior to the appointment, I had it towed to them. At Midas the front desk guy tells me that they started my car 15-20 times with no problem. And that if I want to have a part put in I have to pay the deductible because tests were done on the whole car and no issues were found I stated that I worked a 12 hour shift prior to the appointment so I am exhausted and growing frustrated, then the guy at the front desk begins to explain to me as if I m a child what the issue could be and that everything looks fine, completely not taking me serious at all. Two days later my car is dead again, unable to start the car, unable to get to work. This place is horrible, a complete waste of time dealing with them. If my car wasn t under warranty I would not go back to them. Do not recommend.I wish I had the guys name but one of his responses to me as I told him my issues was well I didn t buy the car I mentioned he was talking to me like a child.... staring at me and taking long breaks as I m looking at him waiting for him to continue talking, I felt very belittled in that situation just for the same issue I had with the car to arise again. SMH

Always get work vehicle oil changes here, they are the cheapest around! Plus they do our brakes and replaced my battery as well. I definitely like that they'll let you pay over the phone by credit card and leave the keys for you if you can't make it back in time before they close!

After prior bad experiences I usually avoid these chain shops. However, when I needed one quick simple weld I read reviews here and decided to give them a chance.The good - they got me in same day to do the repair, and it seems to have been a successThe bad - though they took my car right away, the communication wasn't great. Usually you get an estimate and sign a paper or get a call with a quote, then when you agree you move forward. I called after several hours of not hearing from them and was told the work was nearly done. Odd to have no idea how much it would cost. I then didn't hear back until almost closing time when I called back to see if it was ready. I was then told it was $120 for a single weld. No new parts just a weld. When I left, a check engine light was on, which turned out to be an unrelated issue I had to fix. Also odd they would release a car that isn't running right and has a check engine light on without even investigating that light.I'd say overall I'm sticking with my instincts to avoid this chain.

They are professional and friendly but expensive. See my invoice attached. Excerpt: Replace spark plugs/wire set/pcv valve/air-&cabine filter = 541 USD.I went there after I experienced a transmission issue, no engine light. I was glad that they fixed my car three days after my initial call. I had no issues since then. They changed the transmission and engine oil as I requested. They claimed that the IGN module and the Map sensor needed to be replaced. My Total was 1.587 USD. My car has 129k miles and was inspected one month ago.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I have never been to a mechanic shop that has the most amazing waiting area and not to mention friendly fair priced and the most knowledgeable staff that actually know how to diagnose your vehicle right the first time. My wife does not like taking her car in for repairs I always have to do it but now thanks to this brilliant owner and his amazing faculty packed with fireplace Hugh tv, FREE arcade games, comfortable seating. She is more then happy to bring the car in for service

I went there for state inspection and to have tires put on my vehicle. While it was there it was discovered that I needed brakes and rotors. When they put my tires on they damaged my wheels and one of the tires had brown marks on it that looked like curb rash and it was supposed to be a brand new tire. I took it back to show the owner and he took one picture and said that he would get back to me about it. It has been weeks now and I have not heard a thing from them. Paying for new tires for your vehicle is a huge investment and you expect to have good tires without damage to your wheels this is not the experience that I wanted or expected I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone and they have certainly lost my business.Services: Tires, Brakes

Generally positive experience here. My only complaints is being hung up on prematurely and being charged for a phone call (not sure why that is). Other than that staff are friendly and make sure you re good to go. Will definitely return for future car needs!

This Midas location is new and one of 2 Midas locations in Quakertown. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Work is done in a timely and professional manner. Prices are also reasonable and often offer coupons and deals for discount on oil change and other services. Tire prices aren't bad as well although they only offered 2 brands. This repair shop can handle pretty much all repairs, service, and inspections.

Took my truck in for an exhaust leak, the flex hose was rusted out. The told me the muffler was rusted out as well and it would cost $1k for a new one. For $100 flex hose and a $200 welder I fixed it myself! Nothing was wrong with the muffler, they lied to me. Beware of this place.

What a GREAT shop. I have been working with Keven the owner of this referbished facility for years and have always been satisfied 110% of the time. There is no price gouging here. He gives you the facts. Completely stands by the Midas Guarantee. I will only take my cars to his shop, and I live 30-40min from his shop. Keep up the excellent service.

I asked for a oil and filter change. They did what I asked and also did an inspection of my car that I did not ask for. When I left the lug nuts on my back tire were loose and I almost did not make it home. I was scared and very disappointed. My husband took my car back and made them fix it, he was very upset as well! I truly wish they would have just done what I asked for. It would only have taken about 20 minutes. My "oil change" took over an hour due to extra things they did.

Finding these guys was one of the luckiest things my wife and I have done since moving to the valley six years ago. They have always been honest and fortright with us and helped us knowing we were struggling teachers during our first few visits.I would think of no other place to go for car repair, oil changes, and inspections. Kevin goes to great lengths to make sure this location - and his staff - are as welcoming and courteous as can be. He spent a great deal of time and money putting fun amenities in his place as well as refreshments and a clean setting.If you happen to be looking for a long term mechanic in the area, don't be skeptical of this being a Midas. It is a chain that is local to its core. The store is heavily involve in the Coopersburg/Center Valley and Quakertown areas and they love giving back to the community. You are supporting a local business when you get work from these guys.They are truly some of the best people around.

Go there regularly now for oil changes. Can always get an appt time that I request and the service is great and fine in a timely manner. Guys there are very nice and courteous.

Great local place for all you minor auto repair work.Very professional and service is excellent.Nice waiting area and repairs while you wait or you can dine next door while you are being serviced.
