Quakertown BJs has the worse customer service. I had placed on order on the BJs app., after 45 min I received an e-mail from BJs saying my order had been processed and was on it way. An half hour later I revived a text saying there was issues with my CC. I checked my CC statement on line and it showed the payment was pending. I called customer service at the Quakertown Store. The lady at the desk new what I referring to, but she had no answers and transferred me to a supervisor. When I was contacted to the supervisor he didn t know what I was talking about, he checked their computer and said they didn t have an order for me. I told him I had the Order number and that is was ordered through their app. He didn t want the order number, he said he would transfer me to customer service they could help. Of course customer service then transferred me the store manage. The store manager said I would need to call their 800 number, because even though the order was placed through BJ app, either door dash or intrastate card gets the order not the store long story short, don t pay the $106 for BJ same day delivery, because it s actually insta cart or door dash delivering, and they are much cheaper. After 2.5 hrs on the phone and talking to 8 different people, my order was refunded.

Store needs ALL of their employees to be crossed trained. Retail should have insensitives for employees who are crossed trained. Also, when departments are slow store management should step in and help get the flow of the store going.

If you re thinking about getting a job here i d reconsider. The store manager Krista is unbearable and fires team members the first chance she can. The assistant store manager alex is even worse, watch out if you re applying for hr. Not worth the job for the decent pay. horrible communication among mangers, making most jobs at bjs more stressful and toxic than need be. If you need to do any shopping that isn t expensive bulk, go to walmart or aldi. The bakery items have had flies in them multiple times, the fresh items go bad before they make it off the shelf. not to mention a blind crippled chimp could steal from this place and not be caught.the single lady they ve had for 30 some years in asset protection can barely use the program to view the cameras. bjs has gone downhill and club 350 is a prime example.

Decided to go here on Black Friday and so glad we stopped here. They had amazing prices on several electronics we didn't even realize we needed for our son. It was smart since most other stores were raked over alot BJs had alot still available and really great for wrapping supplies lol.

Avoid all baked goods. Rolls go moldy after a couple days. Bagels are slimy like they were packaged while still hot. Every muffin ever purchased has been slimy. Nothing is fresh and it sits around until it's bought. The customer service folks up front are really rude and the manager is a jerk.

Was just at BJ s in Quakertown today. (June 26) .it started to downpour, so we re in a hurry loading the car. We left a large pack of AA batteries. We got home to find out they weren t in the car.Called the store,6 times, talked to a man in the dairy, (finally) and no one there knew how to connect me to customer service. Left a message on answer machine, since the operator wasn t available, and I m still waiting for a call back. R Gilbert

Our Business membership got messed up on auto renewal. Cards were inactive but the membership wasn't expiring until Oct 2023. No one could seem to figure it out, either online or in person.I spent a lot of time on the phone and in the warehouse,One manager named ALEX was able to slowly unwind the mess and come up with a solution. Thanks Alex for taking the time and not passing the buck.

Like the deli, most big box stores don't offer that. Decent organic selection of fruits and vegetables (by decent I mean more than other big box stores), snacks and condiments. Prices are mostly comparable with other big box stores, at least within a dollar or two. Customer Service and people at the door checking your recepit are always friendly.

Just was here. They had a paddle board marked as $19.99. The sign right next to the display and box was $19.99. I m thinking wow what a great deal. Almost unbeilable! I get to check out and rings up $476.00. Needles to say someone out the sign in the wrong place and after ten minutes of waiting the General Manager wouldn t give me a discount at all. Nothing! Zip! I would of taken it for $100. So after 45 min shopping in the store they wouldn t honor their mistake. I ve been in Retail Management. The wrong signing is the stores mistake and should always be honored. Make sure you know going in their signing may not be right and you will pay for it.

Wow!!! I don't think I'll ever shop inside again! Do pickup folks. I planned meals, went online with my entire grocery list and ordered ahead. I was there a total of 15 minutes. That would have taken me two hours! Thank you BJ's and staff.

TERRIBLE SERVICEI tried to "save time with the app" only to have to remove EVERY SINGLE ITEM from my basket at the door. Some were light and some were VERY heavy. I then had to hold them so it could be scanned repeatedly... It is nice that those who might have a handicap are hired, but if these are the measures that need to be taken so I can be harassed their policies when their employees by their limitations can be no help I am cancelling my membership. This is ridiculous...

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. NEVER get a job here. the general manager is selfish and rude and lazy. he does things for him and himself only. he does not care about a single other person in the building. this place used to be a good place for an easy job but has gone VERY downhill in the past few months since he started working there. only work here if you want to be unappreciated. all the managers care about is credit cards. only shop here if you want to get asked every time you go in, if you want to sign up for the their credit card.

Don t loose your receipt... spent 487.00 at the store. From the time I left the register I missed placed my receipt. They would NOT let me out of the store. We called my bank she confirmed the purchase. The manager, had to review the computer and found it slipped in the belt of the table. Finally after 45minutes , they allowed me to leave. They did exchange my melting ice cream. Funny, the young man had to help me three times with checking out and still they didn t let me out! Not very good policy. I am a older women, who would not shoplift a whole cart full of groceries after asking for help three times. And called my bank! Not even a free pretzel! Jane G.

Id like to thank Tyrese for helping me to load my truck this afternoon, and Manager Sherie. Sherie went above and beyond the call to make sure we had a good first experience. Excellent & Friendly team. Very happy with our decision to join.

Very rude customer service. A woman was returning a bunch of food, and when she asked, "Would you like me to sort out the food?" they replied with, "No, we're just going to throw it away." Then, after she left, they were talking about her. One employee asked the other, "Did you tell her we're going to throw it away so she feels bad?" This is not acceptable, and should not come out of the mouths of employees behind a customer's back. I'm vedy disappointed.

My experience at the BJ s Wholesale in Quakertown was the equivalent of a disastrous first date. I have been a Costco Member for the last two years and I received a $100 GC for Christmas to see if it might be a suitable alternative. Product wise, there were some pluses, however, concerning the customer service I received, I may be hard pressed to make the switch, let alone return. My father was told that I could acquire a Day Pass as a non-member when purchasing the GC prior to the holiday, at a different BJ s Wholesale. I went to the customer service counter and the young lady, who may have been plucked too soon from training, informed me that no such offer was available. Perhaps a misunderstanding from my father s end. She then, told me I could only use the card toward a new membership for $55. I was not yet enticed. I called my father on the phone in front of her to see if there may have been some confusion. Clearly, both he and I became annoyed as the issue progressed and the promises made (at least to his understanding) as incentive to purchase the GC could not be fulfilled. After I finished my phone call, the young lady remembered to mention a current promotion where we could try a new membership for $25. Convenient she missed this on her first sales pitch. At this point, I was so unimpressed with her customer service that I didn t feel the desire to commit to any membership. I ve wasted nearly 15-20 minutes with her lack of assistance. I left and went to my car to call the location my father purchased the card at. I was helped in under four minutes by a very knowledgeable employee named Chris and informed that while there indeed was not a Day Pass, as my father misunderstood, I am eligible for a three month free membership experience that SHOULD have been offered to me. The difference in quality of service over a phone call from Chris, nearly undid the ill will had developed based on the poor service I received inside this location. When I returned, i waited in line...again...and informed the young lady that I spoke to someone from the other location and I SHOULD have been offered the trial membership. Her reaction could only be described as utterly unaware or willfully ignorant. At this point she said she had to talk to her manager, whom she called and informed The member with the gift card came back... This means that she had already spoken to the manager about the situation, had no solution set in stone (and continued to play unaware of the trial membership) and the manager did not think it worthwhile, on a relatively inactive Monday morning, to come and introduce an already inconvenienced potential member to the benefits of joining BJ s Wholesale. I ve been in customer service for a decade and a half, and this is how you lose patronage 100% of the time. After the customer service representative finally issued me my trial membership with the enthusiasm of a patient having blood drawn, she gave me one of my member benefits, a coupon book...with several of the coupons already removed. Please, BJ s Wholesale, my membership at Costco is up around the time of my trial membership...why would I ever give you a second date?

They actually offered a coupon for a 40 pack of Newlife water - so typical because Newlife only ever has come in 35 bottle packs. The casher would not honor the coupon. This type of occurrence has happened much too often, and I've just ignored it and purchased anyway. I decided to buy elsewhere rather than reinforce this ridiculous nonsense again.

Our visits to BJ's have always been good, but it would be nice for a few changes. I do have issue with the cookies, in that you do mix 2 different types but not all. A UPC code for a mix of 2 different types would be great. A mixed 6 pack of muffins. Maybe 3 of 2 types or 2 of 3 types would be good too. I don't try the other types because if I don't like them, I'd hate to be stuck with 5 more.

Save money by buying bulk. Lunch meat is cheaper to buy here then at a grocery store. Big selection in anything needed for the home, garden, auto.

The wholesale club in Quakertown, PA is mediocre, but I frequently go here as they are the closest to me. I would give the chain 4 stars as I've had much better experiences at their other stores. They often run out of the most popular items. The process of leaving the store where they count the items in your basket is annoying, at best, when you have a large number of items. If you have shop lifting issues, you should address this in a way that does not inconvenience your non-stealing customers. The topper was when someone stole something out of our cart as we were loading a large item. I realize this is more of a Quakertown thing than a BJ's thing, but it's left a bad impression with me. I keep praying for a Costco to open up in the area...

Great store overall, pounds to pounds and dollars to dollars Costco has higher quality for way cheaper consistent over time . They have big box model and boutique items T wholesale prices look at there diamonds. BJ s cannot offer the clarity, cut, or SIZE. Or the gemologist certification. If you have a serious inquiry. I'd be willing to talk. Plus they are so exclusive. Anyone in the kitchen knows the gold standard mixer, well kitchen Aid did a Costco exclusive where you had the choice of 3 hard to get colors AND a Costco exclusive membership deal an attachment. The same motor size. (Not available at Macy's) so the smaller motor size next size down sold for $150.00 more with out the attachment or the other colors. It's that type of exclusivity they can offer to customers. If they bought out a special DKNY women out coat, if you like it, you know to buy it now because next week when you come back, they are all gone. I bought LENNOX STEM WARE WINE GLASSES, THE VERY SAME PATTERN MINUS 2 GLASSES AT MACY'S WAS 45.00 ON SALE FOR 6 GLASSES. COSTCO SOLD the same pattern (exact item, mfg. Etc.) 8 Lennox glasses for $19.99. why is Macy's going out of business so even if you were a Saturday/ Sunday morning Macy's shopping pass clipper in newspaper or you discovered the digital shopping pass. Costco exclusivity deal smashed the Macy's pass and then some and those are a few in many . I went to Best buy to understand the computer language and specs I took the Costco coupon book for the same computer I would have to pay $175.00 more, mind you the screen at best buy was 15.2, Costco was 17.0 and Costco computer was faster, had way bigger memory, and could do 4\x's more things at Same time with out slowing the computer down, again I didn't know still don't technical computer jargon. My son's do praise God. Anywho I paid the guy $20 for his Time, he told me that they could not price match obviously there computer could not match the specifications of Costco and it would have been n

I understand every retail store is under strain to keep shelves stocked during this pandemic. However for me, BJs in Quakertown stands out as the worst. Items are constantly low or completely missing. Will not be surprised if this location closes or, after this lockdown period, it may be time to find some better supply lines as the local grocery chains are doing much better.

Excellent store. Eunice the cashier was so helpful. In May 2021 the Tire department was going extra miles to help me.

Happy with most of our purchases here, as of lately the bread has been stale, but we ll blame that on Covid and continue visiting the deli for fresh meats and cheeses, we used the grocery delivery recently and it was extremely convenient, especially how an associate texted us if an item wasn t available, we will use this service again.

An excellent store with bulk items, a great grocery department and considering how many times I've been there, their produce is always very fresh. I'm hoping they don't go the way of Bon-Ton and Sears.

Everyone who works there is real nice and the prices are great. They have been lacking on variety lately though, getting rid of some of the stuff they used to carry.
