Recently took my vehicle to AACMO for the first time for service. The manager at the front desk and staff were very friendly and very professional. Dwayne, the technician was very informative on the work he was performing. Repairs completed in timely fashion and answered all my questions.

I had a problem with my vehicle leaking antifreeze. I took it to AAMCO in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania. I explained my problem to the Manager who had his Technician promptly diagnosed the problem.He then carefully explained the diagnosis. I then authorized that he proceed with work. He subsequently ordered the required parts and my vehicle was repaired most expeditiously. I was certainly impressed with the entire experience and I will not hesitate to solicit their services in the future.

Got car towed in and within 5 days I was back up and going. The customer service was amazing. They kept me up to date every step of the way knowing it was a very stressful time for me and my family. Thank you so very much.

So glad I found this location! Suffice it to say, my car needed a transfer case. The first review reported finding trans fluid in the transfer case. Since my rebuilt and replaced trans was still under warranty, I took it back to the dealership that did the work. It should be noted they had my car for 3 months! Their assessment - absolutely no issue with the trans (including no leak) and that since they could not repair the case, it would take $6K to replace it. Um, no!The Prospect Park AAMCO appeared like a sign and I proceeded to call them. Without even seeing my car, I was informed that in most cases, a transfer case can actually be repaired depending upon the findings. Figuring on nothing to lose, I decided to have AAMCO take a look. The first awesome thing that happened? AAMCO picked up my car from the dealership - for free! About 20 minutes after my call to AAMCO, I got a call from Joe letting me know he was making arrangements for the tow - at no cost to me!Once my car was in AAMCO, Idris, my service rep, was nothing short of amazing! Idris laid out all of my options and ensured I received a comprehensive report to give to the dealership for an opportunity to do the right thing. Obviously, the dealership did not do the right thing, and AAMCO came to the rescue. Since the work was still costly, Idris worked with me to secure a payment plan. The second amazing thing? I did not even have to leave a deposit! This AAMCO rocks!The next amazing thing? I had my car back within 2 weeks, which included the new year holiday weekend! Everything at AAMCO happened the way Idris promised. AAMCO obtained the parts for my car (2008 Escape btw) when he said they would. AAMCO started work when Idris said they would. My car was ready when Idris said it would be. I can't speak to service at the Prospect Park AAMCO before 2 weeks ago, but I can tell you they are certainly amazing now.I rarely write reviews, but I had to make a point of letting folks know they can expect great service and honest assessments at this location. That dealership? They can't pay me to even look at my car. Prospect Park AAMCO? Will definitely visit again. Thanks to all of you!!

Run !!!!! Do not , I repeat do not go here. You will regret it. Had my car over a month, dropped in a diner, broke down 3 times after they said it was fixed, said it was something else n not covered under warranty right after fixing transmission, would not honor coupon. You have been warned!!!! Their is more but I m reporting to BBB.(Broomall location)

The complimentary tow & customer service was the only good thing about my experience. I was told over the phone that my issue s sounded electrical & would be an easy fix. My Buick LaCrosse got there & they said the issue was mechanical. It cost $799 to thoroughly inspect it. Found out my transmission had to be rebuilt or replaced & the fee was gonna be $5800 for the best option. I decline to get it serviced there. Then was charged $299 to put my transmission back in. So waisted time & money down the drain. If insurance doesn t cover it don t come here. The prices are ridiculous.Service: Transmission

Had a problem but nobody wantsed to fix it due the type of transmission my car has. I googled Aamco near me, hello Prospect Park popup and I gave them a call. Within a half hour my car was tow to the shop and by the end of day we were told the problem and how they can fix it. They offer us great payment options. Lastly they drove my car to my house free of charge. They also did a seven day check up . They offer great customer service and experience. I will come back again for further repairs.Service: Transmission

I don't even want to give them one star. I called for a specific job done that someone was charging me 125dollars I take it to Aamco they told me 745 plus 50 taxes fee on Monday. Tuesday they tell me they found a inexpensive way to fix which was 4500 to expensive way was 6000 I told them I know what was wrong with my car why would I pay that much they offered me a payment plan I told them I just want the job I scheduled for he said he'll talk to supervisor and call me back . I call Saturday morning to check on my vehicle and the guy on the phone said oh it was our impression that you were coming to pick up your car so they never repaired it and had it parked in front of someone personal house luckily I have a Honda and it has very good anti theft protection.

I took my 2019 Nissan Sentra to get serviced at Ammco on Chester pike. Upon arrival I called to see what they prices were for checking or running a diagnostic on the transmission. Long story short the transmission was bad and it needed to be fixed. I was quoted $5200.62 by Nissan dealership for a brand new transmission along with a brand new exhaust because that was bad. So that was not feasible for me at the time, I end up at ammco recieved quality service from the customer care rep. And was told the bill for my vehicle will be $6000 at first!!!! I told them that Nissan dealership had me down for $5200 even the receipt in quote is in the vehicle visor. I gets a call from the manager name LUKE WHOM SAID OUT HIS MOUTH THAT THEY WILL HONOR HE ENTIRE BILL THAT NISSAN QOUTED. (His words) I said thank you. Took 3 weeks for transmission to come and then to finally receive a bill for $5,512.00 and he says that s the taxes that was added after the bill. But Nissan qouted the entire bill. So now that I only came with $2750.00 because I paid half the bill up front. Mr LUKE TOLD ME IF I DIDNT OAY THE REST I DONT LEAVE WITH NO WARRANTY ON MY VEHICLE UNTIL I PAY THE REST. I Reall couldn t believe he said that to me. I came into the establishment on good faith thanks to the Customer service representative. He basically gave me no choice but to pay it. So they basically charge more then the dealership and put taxes on after the bill instead of telling the customers the entire priced bill. Thank you Mr Luke and the owner because you will not be getting my business any more.And not to mention my exhaust was never worked on.Service: Transmission

Man 5 stars ain't enough. My car broke down while I was visiting. None of the other shops in the area wanted to look at it to see what was wrong, they pulled it in there found out what was wrong, and then put in a lot of work to find the parts. It wasn't easy since my car is an older model. They found it and was able to put them on order. I'd already spent so much money on the trip so I was low on funds, and they went above and beyond to put the work within my price range. About a year ago I replaced my transmission at another Aamco location in feasterville. Within 6 months the new transmission began to display poor performance and mechanical issues. At this particular location, Mickey and John were committed to not only fixing my problems with the inadequate transmission, but also diagnosing and helping me with other issues that had began to arise. They also found it imperative to ensure that the service implied by my original warranty was sufficient enough for me to not have to bring my car back for the same problem for a second time. I am so grateful for them helping me get my car back so quickly and following up with me to make sure I had no further issues. I would recommend them for transmissions as well as the consistently pleasant customer service and the expertise of the mechanics for diagnosing and fixing issues.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I live nearly 100 miles away and was in town last Friday visiting wedding venues with my fianc� when my car stopped shifting out of first gear. I dropped by a local garage and a dealership, and no one would help me. But when I called here, Mickey was sympathetic and helpful. When I brought the car in, they were super accommodating and checked my car out soon after I arrived. Ultimately, the issue ended up being a quick and easy fix, and they did handled it immediately, so I was able to drive home that afternoon (rather than have to rent a car for the weekend). So grateful and appreciative for these guys. Highly recommend.

Ahmed was a nice guy. Comes off pretty straightforward and honest. Got my car in and out of there in 1 week. Completely rebuilt my transmission. And half the time was waiting for all the parts. He said he pushed me ahead of some customers because he felt for my situation and I think a week for all the work that was done was very fair. As of now, the car seems good. It has only been a few day. I got a 2 year warranty too. Price was pretty high but I am unsure what the going rate of the exact job he did would god for else where. Will update if I have any troubles with the work or warranty later down the road. But as for my first time going there i was over all satisfied. Ahmed, who seemed like a very nice, patient, family oriented and spiritual would always return calls, answer, or callback when he said he would. Communication is key, and although the day the mechanics called me I wasn't able to ask his as many questions and I would like to because I lost service on my phone. But they did a good job explaining what was going on and what they were doing. I usually go to the same guy to work on my car because I really trust him and his opinion, so going here, was new and different. But everything he told me, I ran past my mechanic non the phone as he was saying it and he said everything he is saying was true. So all in all if you have transmission issues I would definitely give them a try! They do seem like they know what they're doing!

I went here for them to take look at my suv. they held my car for over 2 weeks before they tried to they talked me into getting a used transmission and other services. they they hooked my car battery up incorrectly caused it to overload and made it seem like they didn't do anything wrong until i showed them it was a brand new battery. the tow driver use they messed something up underneath the vehicle. they had my car over a month. and I still can't drive my vehicle they lied and scammed me out of over 4 grand for a vehicle I still can't drive and crazy part is I drove it there but have more problems now then when I brought it. big disappointment a d im out of 4 grand. I'm terrified to bring it back to them because I don't know if they gonna even really fix it or damage it some more.Service: Transmission

Absolutely horrible experience at this location and will honestly not return nor recommend. Had an appointment scheduled and confirmed for 8 am for simple transmission fluid replacement. dropped vehicle off with no communication throughout day on update on vehicle. Called a few hours after drop off on update on vehicle only to be given the run around and would be called back shortly. Called 30 minutes before closing for update only to be told the vehicle hadn t been touched all day because of waiting for a call back some warranty when I was paying out of pocket no warranty ever mentioned! Then I had to rush to get my vehicle before they closed as if any of this was my fault. First and utter last time dealing with any aammco locationService: Transmission
