I placed a simple online order. Just 1 (one) headlight replacement bulb. The system says most orders are ready for pick up within 30 minutes. When I went to the counter, they said their system is not showing the order, this is after 49 minutes have passed. With today's technological advancement, you would think that they can easily improve customer experience. I have proof of online purchase for the H7 light bulb. They can't just give it to me or release it even if I have proof of purchase. They said they have to wait until the order shows up in their system to release the order or to give me the part. In my opinion, this is rather insane!

The employee was very helpful in getting the right wipers for my vehicle. Even though it was pouring down rain, he had no problem installing them for me right away. I thank that employee for being very courteous.

Unable to swap out purchased headlight (all forms of receipts) for another headlight worth more money without a license and my personal information?! The fact they don t have any policies in place makes such a simple task complicated and intrusive!!! Bad Company!

Needed to have my van's battery replaced. the Manager, Steve, was great. They didn't have the same battery I had, but in fact the computer had a recommendation for a different battery. So I paid to have a faulty battery upgraded to a better quality one. Steve was very professional and installed the battery fast. Thanks so much Steve!

I prefer shopping here over Auto Zone because I find their prices are better. But, they seem to have less stock. So if your willing to wait a couple days, it's worth it. Most of the staff here is pretty knowledgeable as well.

The lights are on but the doors are locked at 9:30 am on a Thursday. Customers waiting outside. Noone is answering the phone and I do not see anyone inside. I have been waiting for 10 minutes.

It s the closest auto parts store to me so I m here frequently but how these places stay in business baffles me. I usually have one thing to purchase, like an air filter or something, and I stand in line for 20 minutes while the one guy behind the desk explains the four different brake rotor options to the little old lady at the front of the line, then explains the mail in rebate, then explains the speed perks program, etc etc etc. Can a guy get a self checkout? When I do need a part or tool, you can bet it s 2-3x more expensive than RockAuto or Amazon, and usually at an inferior quality. These stores are dinosaurs and this one is no exception.

The prices for a battery was beyond high. I was in a crunch and have always been amazing. For a cheaper end battery was still 240. Bucks. Like hell no . The place is clean the gentleman I dealt with was absolutely great. Hire more people like him.

Lights on but doors locked @7:45 am on Saturday 8/27/22. This is not the first time experiencing this. This place is definitely going down hill fast. It used to be great. No clue as to what they need to do to get or keep help looks like I will change to a new store here in Pottstown and start going to auto zone, they seem to always be open when they say they are to be open. So update I got the same response form them saying we are sorry we will pass this on to our field team leaders well from the rest of the reviews about the same thing I guess you need new leadership because the ones you have are doing nothing

My family and I went in assuming we needed a new car battery and the very knowledgeable manager Chris checked on it for us and let us know it was just a lose connection. He helped fix that, put on new wiper blades and helped us get new jumper cables. Very happy with the service there.

They are always so helpful. The one gentleman that works there always goes beyond his scope of employment in order to help, now that is awesome customer service. I wish I got his name, but I will next time I'm in. Keep up the great customer service!

Worst location I ve been to. Rude and absolutely no help. I was shocked at their behavior. I felt like I was inconveniencing them and there phone activities. Honestly- 4 people and no one helped. Really sad. I drove to another location and 180 degree difference. Amazing!

I really hoped this store would have been good, did not have to be great just good. Unfortunately today this store proved that it could not even be a good store. I asked for a part, I was told if it was not hanging in the isle we do not have it in stock. I said ok, could you please order it for me. I explained what it was that I needed the guy looked perplexed, and asked if I had a part number? I said not but had the old one with me. He said without a part number he could not help. I asked if he could look it up on the computer he said no. I shock my head and left the store. I stopped at Auto Zone. The person there was a great help, found what I needed left the store. The only thing this store has if convince of location. There is not one person there that has any idea what they are doing. And yes, I have been there on many occasions, always leaving frustrated from the lack of help from those behind the counter who would rather listen to music, gossip and eat there lunch in front of everyone. If I attached like this at my job, my employer would have me head! Will Not Be Going Back!!!

Customer service is nonexistent. I just got yelled at by one of your employees. Two people told me I'd get my money back. Then I find out its only on a store credit. After my experience, I'm never going back again. Took 10 minutes and 3 people to find an item I asked them to hold for me last night. Made me late to my appointment to get the item replaced. Not to mention I'm replacing a piece that worked fine for 7 years then needed to be replaced twice in a year and a half. You've seen my receipt, you should the return policy and be able to explain it to customers. And I don't appreciate being verbally berated in public over your staff's attitude and inability to communicate.

I just moved to this area and went in to get some items for an oil change, there were two really kind gentleman behind the counter who helped me the entire time. They even checked my cabin filter for me which definitely needed to be replaced, and they even put the new one in for me. They have excellent customer service and I really appreciated them taking the time to help me

They can t find the parts in their inventory. Shows part is in stock. Lazy teen cashier was 0 help. I drove 30 minutes from another store because this store was SUPPOSED to have it.

I ordered some motor oil and a filter online for in-store pick up and was directed at check out to the Pottstown store. When I got there I asked for my order and noticed a bad attitude from the lady at the counter. We ended up having an argument over my order but I addressed it with customer service and received a heart-felt response. Advanced Auto Parts really do care about their customers! *** CORRECTION*** After I wrote this review I learned from employees at another store that "Lady with the bad attitude.." still works there and continued to cause problems for the store manager in Boyertown and other customers. So I had to write another letter to the corporate office expressing my dissatisfaction, rejecting their $40 consolation offer. If you got to this store you risk having a serious problem for a trying to make a simple purchase. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

Went in to borrow an axle/spindle nut impact set, the guy there was incredibly friendly and helpful. The tool itself I'm pretty sure was brand new and worked great. Plus you get 45 days with the tool or something so I don't have to be in a hurry to take it back and can hold onto it for a few days should you need to use it again. The fact they open at 7:30 was also a huge plus since I was able to wake up pick up the tool and start working nice and early before it's ridiculously hot.

The staff made things right. My son bought a part that he did not know that he couldn't return if he opened it. It also doesn't help that Advance Auto Parts doesn't have any information on their receipts and people are forced to read small print in a window sign explaining it. The staff showed a true understanding of the situation and upheld core values to make sure the customer left happy. Chris and Keeta, thank you for your hard work and due diligence to always do right by your customers.

Got some wiper blades in there today. The guy at the register I apologize for not getting his name was very helpful. normally it's like pulling teeth to get them to install the wipers for me. but he actually asked if I needed them installed. I didn't have that vehicle with me at the time, but it was very good to see that they willing to do it without asking. good place to get Auto Parts!

We're ready in Advance is not followed in this store. The employees here are not worried about much except eating their lunch. No reason this location should be open , not helpful when I had an issue .

Pottstown, PA store - Just wanted to say what a great customer service oriented team is here, modeled superbly by Courtney. She (and Kyle I think) were extremely helpful to me several times as I was dealing with some issues (windshield wipers, and brake light). Highly recommend them!

Multiple times now I ve gone to this store during business hours with no one inside and all doors locked with signs saying be back soon . Much easier to go to Napa down the road that I know will have to the doors open.

I have an auto parts store I deal with regularly but for those hard to find items a lot of times advance Auto parts is the place to go I find them to have quite a few things other places do not and their reasonably priced and friendly service

I've always been an AutoZone guy until recently I found Advanced Auto had Better prices then AutoZone or Napa. Advanced has parts in stock unlike AutoZone who's always out of stock or special order, Buy online or thru the app & pick up in store, always have coupons for 10-20%. Plus earned reward $.

Jason was most helpful in reassembling a remote car start out of the kindness of his heart and with no charge.Super friendly and knowledgeable service. Extremely pleased!
