The owner, Richard, is very nice and kind-hearted. Our car had a flat tire on the road and drove to his repair shop. He helped us find several places to find the right tire. Because it is a second-hand tire, he also said that he would give it to me for free. It can be seen that he is really kind. Anyway, we were so lucky to pass by his car repair shop and met a great person like Richard.

I ve had the pleasure of meeting Richard and Portland auto repair, and discussing with him several issues that I was having with my Lincoln navigator. Richard took the time to go over my truck and identify the issues I was having and immediately started working on repairing my truck. I noticed that his knowledge and dedication to the customer goes beyond what local mechanics have showed in the last 27 years that I ve lived out here, his work is excellent. He s an honest guy. He guarantees his work, and when it comes to cost of labor, he is extremely reasonable. All I can say is that we finally have a great and honest mechanic who we can depend on and trust I would recommend anyone that needs mechanical work done on their vehicle , to see Richard first it s a pleasure having Portland auto repair in our communityService: General repairs & maintenance

Portland Auto Repair has taken exceptional care of my 2008 Acura TL multiple times. When the dealer and other shops would have taken advantage of me for a new computer, Portland Auto went to great lengths to restore my car. Before I came here, I was sadly getting ready to replace my car.They also kept me safe recently by quickly detecting a damaged ball joint that could ve caused my driver s side wheel to break off. This shop treats my vehicle like its their own.You can always count on honesty and outstanding work with Portland Auto Repair. Thank you!

Very happy with my experience at Portland Auto Repair. I was having major issues with my Toyota Highlander. Richard was extremely helpful with assisting me, he was responsive and friendly. He spent a good time diagnosing the issue I was having with my engine and didn t even charge me for his time. Went to Richard for an inspection, couldn't have been nicer. I also ended up needing to replace my back rotors and back break pads. Richard went out, picked up the parts, and he and one of his mechanics Ovidio put everything together quickly and professionally. My husband and son was on our way home fromNYC when our tire on passenger side back became very lose.The bolts had all came out except for 1.I googled the nearest mechanic shop and Portland Auto Repair popped up.Once there the owner Richard treated us as if he new us for years.The service was excellent.I highly recommend this business.Everyone was very professional and friendly. I was on my way to Canada when my brand new Ford expedition started making sound. I googled this workshop as it was closest to the highway. Upon arrival the owner was very polite and professional. I had four kids and my wife with me and he made us feel comfortable and bring down our anxiety. He diagnosed the problem immediately and advised me to have the car serviced with the Ford dealer since it was still brand new and he did not want to touch it. Newest mechanic on my block? Awesome indeed. Good affordable rates, the work was great as well. I can't say enough about portland auto repair. I'm glad I found Richard while shopping around for someone to swap the transmission in my Hummer H3. I have been ripped off before but Richard is honest and goes out of his way to get his customers fixed up fast and affordable. I m so glad we have a great auto repair in Portland, they work by appointment, your car is fix with in 24hrs. Great mechanics and electrical work, very trustworthy and friendly. They also do inspections.

Do not go to this mechanic he will not honor his work. I have text messages and they destroyed oil pan that he stripped the drain plug. I spoke to him, and then he seemed a little off. He claims he is an honorable man and businessman. He is not cost me, thousands.

where should i start Richard helped me out in the most vulnerable time of my life. I was on a camping trip on my back home with my friends in my car when my steering belt broke off and i was stranded in the middle of no where and it was around the time all mechanic shops were closed because it was a weekend Friday but Richard didn t hesitate to help me in fact he made his workers stay overtime till me and my car was brought there by towing truck. Even then there workers tried their best to fix it right away and get me going but unfortunately all the part stores were closed and Richard offered my a spot to stay at for the night for air bnb. I ended up getting picked up by my family members and left the car at Richards shop and the next day Richard once again helped me out by bringing my car to his own home near New Jersey where he lives which was about 1 hour drive for me to go and pick up my car instead of driving all the way back to Portland he made my life so easier and I stop thanking him, he didnt have to do all of that but he has a good heart and hes honest and his mechanic work was good no issues i really recommend this guyService: Electrical repair
