Today I got my car towed here at this location. They were very professional and friendly. The guy communicated with me very well over the phone. Even though I didn t receive any service today due to affordability of the price they want to fix my car. The guy s still looked at my car and told me the problem. I greatly appreciate that! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs auto repairs! Thank you so much!

John and the crew at Plymouth Auto and Tire are truly exceptional people! I received service above and beyond the call of duty recently and thought they deserved special commendation for their efforts. I went in there this past Saturday afternoon after my brake lines blew out (on the Schuylkill, no less) and told them my car was scary to drive. Well, they brought me right in and put my baby up on the lift right away. Initially, they told me that they were too backed up for a Saturday afternoon and that they would get to it first thing Monday morning. I told them that I planned to leave first thing Monday morning on a road trip to Michigan. I nicely asked them if they could repair my car by Monday morning and that if they could I would really appreciate it. I left my car with them and they let me use a loaner car for free which was really quite nice! I didn't even miss the car show in Hatfield that night that I was planning on going to. Before I even left from Blue Bell for the car show in their loaner car that same evening they called and said that THEY PUT AN EXTRA MAN ON THE JOB AND STAYED AN HOUR EXTRA after closing just to get the job done! WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! After the car show was done in Hatfield, I returned their loaner car to them in Plymouth Meeting and then paid for and picked up my baby, a 1996 Cadillac Sedan de Ville so I could drive it on my cross-country trip to Arizona! THANKS SO MUCH, GUYS!! You are the best and I will be recommending you to all of my friends and family! You truly earned this 5-STAR review!

Very reliable and honest. I have taken my car here for years and they always do an amazing job. Also, I have taken it in a few times thinking something was wrong they have taken a look at it and are very honest when works need to be done and also when everything is looking great! I highly recommend this place!

Find a different, reputable mechanic in the area. Long time customer here, had various other work done here thru the years, but now after my recent horrible experience will never go back.My recent safety inspection experience I was treated very poorly and their service and friendliness was just very poor. I believe they also attempted to pad my work and overcharge me with required "BS" work on replacing a windshield washer spray nozzle that I just did not need. I had checked simple things like that windshield washer operation, plus brake bulbs, turn signals, headlights, etc. the morning I brought the vehicle in for inspection. Everything worked fine.I take great acre of my vehicle...I am the son of an auto mechanic and I do a lot of work on my own car so I feel strongly that this was total made-up padding-the-bill work. They would not show me the nozzle problem...instead when I confronted them about this nozzle replacement, I believe they basically obfuscated and/or lied to get out of it by then restating that it was a hose that was causing the problem and there was now no charge for the fixed feeder hose. If it's truly a faulty hose, show me the old hose and let me pay a few buck for the replacement. The windshield nozzle worked fine and there was nothing wrong with it to begin with. Same with the hose. There was no new hose piece added in, the old hose piece had not been cut and refitted, the old hose was still completely there working fine like it had been before I brought the vehicle in.Apparently I also needed front shocks for what I was told was excessive bounce which they wanted to charge me (rather I believe they price gouge) around $600 for parts and labor...laughable costing when my TWO front shocks retail cost me only $50 (and that is for better quality ultra truck shocks). Labor is only a couple hours total.When I confronted them about this shocks issue, they could not cite the exact failing specification in PA safety regulations. Technically my shocks pass the regulation, but they are refusing to give me sticker and pass it based on what they feel is unsafe. I still cannot find a specific regulation on which they are failing me. Basically I believe they just pad or inflate or make up things to see if most people won't question it and then they would get all sort of incredible work additions to your invoice.They use a well known estimating and customer management system called Mitchell CRM.I feel and find this state of affairs to be a very disreputable shop. I stopped payment on my check for services not-rendered. Getting a referred State Inspection with State QA officer and will also be taking the vehicle elsewhere to get a new inspection done once I install new front shocks that I don't really need at this stage.You will find yourself way in over your head with this shop if you don't know or care about what's going on. They have so many staff employed there to help sell customers. I have never seen such a staff heavy locally owned garage. Be careful and like I recommend, find another shop in the area if you wanna avoid similar experiences.

Don't bring your car here, especially if you are a woman. I brought my car in for an inspection and oil change. They called me to tell me that I needed a new axel seal. They did send me a photo to show what they were talking about so fine. I was then quoted a total of $1200 just for the seal. I told them I would call them back. After doing a google search and calling a second mechanic, I found out this should only be costing me $400-600. I then called my dad to explain the fact that they are trying to overcharge me by double! My dad proceeded to call back for me and explained that I will just take my car somewhere else due to price gouging. They came back and offered to my father for them to complete it for $600. I am extremely disgusted by the fact that they called me with a price quote of double what they offered me. Don't come here unless you bring a man or else you will get scammed.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

I was near Plymouth meeting and had a tire problems and have called 4 different auto shops near by and unfortunately no one willing to help because it was almost closing time.5th phone call I made- there it was Plymouth auto & tire center they took my car in and fixed my tire. Great auto mechanics here, professional and truly cares for their customers. Thank you Kyle for fixing the car tire, because of this great service I made it in time for my doctor s visit in the evening. Also extra thanks to Mike who answered the phone and took the time and fitting the schedule in at the Plymouth auto & tire center. I will be back for car services. Thank you very much again!

I called Plymouth Auto hoping they could plug my tire the day of on a Saturday. I was doubtful they d be able to. They were so kind, polite, and accommodating. The mechanic who did it was knowledgeable, efficient, and wanted to make sure it was done well. I will definitely call them when I need something else done and would highly recommend them!Service: Tires

Hands down, this is the #1 mechanic i could recommend to friends and family. Complete honesty and transparency is what you can expect here. Since moving to town they have been extra gracious in their communication of the good and bad. When's the last time a mechanic praised a stock part on your car for how well its holding up 10 years later and turned down servicing it? They also always follow up to make sure everything is well. I enjoy hearing from the manager a week after the work has been done, asking how both the vehicle and I am doing.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Oil change

About a week ago I unexpectedly had to drop about $1000 on my car (not at this shop), no more than a few days later I got a flat on my way to work. Already low on money and moral this flat tire really hit me hard. I called around early in the morning to find a place to patch it, no one was willing to get me in except for Plymouth Auto and Tire Center. Not only did they get me in last minute but they patched my tire in a timely fashion and didn t even ask for money for the job other than a tip for the tech. They were also super flexible with pickup times and always answered the phone when I called. I cannot rave more about this place. I will definitely be returning for all my cars needs and I cannot thank them enough for the stellar service. They turned my day around.Service: Tires

I just got my tire puncture repaired within 15 minutes of reaching them. Though it was a busy morning for them they understood my urgency and immediately put a person to work on my car and brought me back to my schedule without any trouble. I went there for Oil change because they send me 50% off coupon when i went there they said they will charge 60$ for normal oil change + tax. Other mechanics can do for 20$.since its nearby my place I went there for my car inspection and they make me scared and gave list of things that i have to fix to pass inspection. cost was around 1200$ really?? I went to different mechanic and pass the inspection with out fixing anything.Be aware of these guys...!!!!!

I had a nail in my tire. They fit me in on short notice and fixed it quickly. Everyone was nice and the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon Plymouth Auto & Tire a year ago for an inspection and thought the staff there was great. Prior to that I was just a gas customer. Inspection rolled around this year and I used them again, why give the money to the dealer. Sadly it turned out I needed new tires and breaks. I got their price, then contacted the dealer. Plymouth Auto was about $200 less expensive for the job. Yesterday they completed the work and once again, the staff was great. I truly can't say enough good things. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop, give them a try. I'm glad I did.Services: Tires, Brake service & repair

I am very upset with MYSELF for agreeing to repairs with this shop without first getting a clear understanding of the rates. I don't have the bill in front of me but the cost of a PA inspection, oil change and headlight replacements were approximately FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. FIFTY for an oil change (about average)...A HUNDRED for inspection (25% to 50% above average) and two hours of labor at about ONE HUNDRED THIRTY AN HOUR which is above some NEW car dealer rates.They wanted an ADDITIONAL FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS to install a new battery! At least I declined that and AAA did it for $180 FULL PRICE and did it ion my driveway!I also didn't feel particularly welcomed there as on my first time in I stood at the counter almost five minutes as a gas/snacks clerk ignored me and finally a shop person came in to ask what I needed.In my long experience there are FOUR kinds of shops:1. Fair quality and high price (basically a rip-off)2. Fair quality and low price3. Good quality at fair price4. Fair to Good quality at very high pricesI feel Plymouth Auto & Tire Center is in the #4 category and I will not be using them again. Not because I feel they are dishonest...simply VERY over-priced.Services: Electrical repair, Oil change

I had a great experience during my visit to Plymouth Auto. The service writers were very warm and welcoming. The mechanics did a very thorough look over of my car to make sure my car is in optimum condition. the service was very speedy and conveniently they were able to do the work that day. Also they were very reasonably priced. I know for a fact ill be bringing my car here in the future and telling my friends and family to do the same.

Once again, I received great service from Plymouth Auto and Tire Center during my recent visit. I brought my car in without an appointment one morning and Lisa and the staff made sure they were able to fit me in to the busy schedule and take care of the problem I had been experiencing. Lisa knew that I had just spent over $3000 in the weeks prior on some transmission work so she did her best to make my visit affordable while still ensuring the proper repairs would be done. I continue to recommend friends and family because I have yet to find a service center with such customer friendly staff and dedicated mechanics.

I just wanted to compliment the staff at Plymouth Auto & Tire Center. In the past 3 months, I have had major and minor repairs to my car and the service has been outstanding! Despite whether or not I know the exact cause of my car problem when I take it in for repair, the staff does a thorough evaluation and consults with me before completing any repairs. They are upfront and honest about costs and urgency of completing the repair. They do not try to sell you on fixing things that don't need repairs at the time. They have a recommendation system for future work to consider and offer additional discounts for that time.I also appreciate their Rewards program as it has allowed me the opportunity to earn reward certificates that I used to pay towards future repairs. I also receive incentives via weekly emails and occasional mailings. I recently recommended their service center to a family member and received 2 free oil changes in return.Overall, the staff, from the service desk to the mechanics, have been awesome! The staff has provided me with rides to work after dropping of my car and also allowed me to use one of their loaner cars overnight when an unexpected problem and repair side tracked my plans for that day.If you are looking for an honest and cost friendly service center, Plymouth Auto & Tire Center is the place for you!

They do not clearly communicate the total costs of repairs. Took my car here for inspection and was told it would be $1098 to get it to pass inspection(which seemed a bit much to begin with as my car has never had any major issues) or $1380 if I got work done on some axle struts and shocks that they said it could use so I agreed to the additional work. Well the mechanic claims he said the extra work would be an ADDITIONAL $1380( I am confident he did not use the word additional on the phone) so now I'm out almost $2400 for my 12 year old Honda civic. I understand miscommunication can happen but an extra $1400 mistake is a very huge problem for me and my family so the fact they were totally unwilling to work with me on the price, including the $950 in labor costs for the not even full day of work they did to my car is what really upset me, we obviously not be using this mechanic in the future.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

So accommodating and helpful. Plugged my tire in record time and didn't charge me. I tipped Jake and off I went. They have great follow-through and they are honest. Have never had an issue they didn't fairly and economically fix. They treat everyone equally, whether you are a regular or not. As someone who leases I often use dealership services and sharing my business does not ever seem to be a deterrent to offering great service to me.

John and Lisa and everyone at Plymouth Auto and Tire deserve a standing ovation for their help they gave us. Our car broke down over the holidays with our two young kids in it. The dealer said half a week or longer to repair and clearly did not care about our situation. Plymouth Auto and Tire Center got it done in 24 hours. And this was a replaced front axle. They had someone drive out of state to get the part before I approved the estimate because they knew how urgent it was and they wanted to do everything they could to have it ready as fast as possible. They gave us a free loaner ford explorer to use while the repairs were being made. They communicated quickly and professionally and they genuinely cared about us and our car. I cannot say enough good things. I have recommended all my family and friends go here. Thank you!

I have been a customer of Plymouth Auto & Tire for about 3 years, ever since I moved to Conshy and they continue to go above and beyond what is required. These guys are extremely professional, polite, and most importantly knowledgeable. I needed an oil change and a new tire so when they contacted me to let me know my car was done they forgot to change my tire, I asked what about my tire and they put me on hold, came back on line and told me that there was a mistake made and they did not put my new tire on but would have it done by end of day, which was only about 90 minutes out. When I came to pick up my car they told me the tire was on them for the mistake, now I never expected that because it was a simple mistake but they said "my business is worth more than a tire" and this is just one example of how these guys and gals go above an beyond. GREAT PLACE I will ALWAYS RECOMMEND them. It is so nice to have a neighborhood garage of this stature and integrity because before I moved here I was not so lucky. I can t say enough awesome things about this place. When we first moved here, we were looking for a place we could trust and luckily, we found it within the first month of being here. Lisa is absolutely awesome and explains things thoroughly. The guys here crack me up and everyone is always super friendly. My car and my partner s car is always taken care of. The loaner cars are good for what they re needed for and I ve also gotten rides home as well, which is great. I ve called same day and they get me in or we can schedule something that s convenient. The AAA discount is also great too.

Fabulous customer service from reaching out to remind me when my inspection is due to offering a great discount for coming in earlier than the inspection month. Super fast service and really great staff. Nice enough to give me a ride home when I dropped off my truck and I was able to get 2 of my vehicles inspected right away. I really like this place and trust their service. Happy to be a returning customer at Plymouth Auto!

I brought my SUV in after I left the dealership where I bought it. My vehicle was making a weird noise when I drove over 50 mph. The dealer told me I needed numerous expensive repairs. I was a little skeptical and felt that I should get a second opinion, so I went to Plymouth Auto and Tire. Billy checked out my vehicle and explained everything to me. It turned out that there was only one problem with the car. I sat in the waiting area while they did the repair. I really appreciated their honesty and the time they spent explaining everything to me. Since my great experience, I have referred a friend and my father for their automotive needs. I would recommend Plymouth Auto and Tire to anyone, I am now a customer for life.

This is a unique story. My young brother didn t get an oil change and the car wouldn t start, we had it towed to Plymouth Auto to get an estimate and we realized the repairs were more than the car was worth. John at Plymouth Auto gave my brother a loaner for him to use, and didn t even charge us for anything even though we sold the car off and didn t do the repairs. Great people and weren t angry at all about us not moving forward with the repairs. I highly recommend them!

Have been bring my cars here for over 5 years to get their inspection. These guys are polite, professional, and are doing the work for a reasonable price. All while not cutting any corners. I got nailed (no pun intended) when they spotted a nail in the shoulder of a tire. Yes, this fails your inspection. But they worked with me and let me bring my car back the following week without making me pay twice. And I'm glad they spotted the issue.

Plymouth Auto has been taking care of my car for nearly a decade. They are friendly, personable, and always take care of me. I get plenty of coupons for great deals on service. They are the epitome of a family-run business. I would highly recommend to anyone in or out of the area! I love Lisa K! I love when she calls me! Bill and Andrew are always such a joy to visit. And Al's not bad either!
