Google is limiting my review size, because I basically wrote a novel on how good this place is, so I'll just re-write and keep it as short as I can.This place is amazing, and they went above and beyond for me. They replaced a tire for me urgently, at 10pm on a Friday night, made me feel right at home during the entire process even though I know nothing about cars, and charged me far far less than I expected, and far far less than anywhere else would've, for amazing work done quickly.My tire size is not quite common, I called after it popped, owner spent time looking around, found a like new one attached to another vehicle, spent the time taking it off of that vehicle, putting it onto mine, all at 10pm on a Friday night and for a price that is absolutely insanely cheap, all the while making it a wonderful experience for me personally.I was in a very tough spot at a time when no other shop was open, and Lokuta's went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of, even though it was 10pm on a Friday, even though they didn't know me and I'd never been there before.I'll now be getting all auto care done here, and you should too. 10/10. You should call here any time you have any vehicle problem, whether it's an emergency or not, you absolutely won't regret it.

My son had a flat on 81near Avoca. He has AAA. First he was told 30 minutes. An hour later told an additional 20 minutes. Finally told he was in his own..no one was in service. Thankfully he found Lokuta s #. The driver WAS there in 15 minutes and brought a treat for my granddaughter as it was her birthday! Above and beyond service!

Lokuta's has gotten me out of not one but TWO tight spots and I couldn't be happier with them. The second time, the owner lent me a car for no charge. Great folks, here.

Great experience we were stuck on 81N and they came literally asap didn t charge us by the mileage which is amazing fed our kids donuts and yogurt which was super sweet we were so appreciative that they helped us and got us off the highway I definitely recommend this company for any roadside assistance

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed, I called to gave my car looked at for burning oil. Not leaking, burning. They got me in next day, which was great. They called end of business day to tell Me it was internal and pretty much ot was to much work and didn't want to fix it. I feel pretty confident that a mechanic knows when it's burning oil that is internal yet They still charged me 105$ to tell me what I already knew and brought it there for. Then I picked it up after hours with only a receipt in the visor not a salesreceipt, but a generic credit card receipt. If you don't do engine work, don't accept engine problems it's incredible and greedy.

I am thankful we broke down in Pittston on long road trip. It was a Sunday and the moment they answered the phone I knew we were in good hands. The service was professional and the employees were knowledgeable and kind. When the mechanic was able to look at our truck on Monday, they discovered it was an easy fix that didn't require any special parts and were able to get it back that day. I appreciated the honesty for what I expect was a catastrophic repair. The total cost was reasonable, especially having been towed on the weekend. We had an outstanding experience and appreciated it.Services: Special vehicle towing, General repairs

I hardly write reviews, I think this is my longest Google review, but I felt compelled to write one for Lokuta's Garage because they were such a lifesaver yesterday! Given my own personal experience with Lokuta's I don't understand how others are leaving 1-star reviews so I felt that people should know that I had a really positive 5-star experience with them.I was on a last-minute ski trip 2.5 hours away from home and about to take my kids up to the slopes when the rental car wouldn't start. It's Sunday morning so most places were closed or unavailable. Lokuta's was the 7th phone number that I called because they were ranked 7th in my Google results. I spoke to Lindsay who was super nice, helpful, and straight to the point. I explained to her the problem and she said that Jay would arrive in about 40 minutes. Jay arrived on-time, to the minute, and went right to work on my car. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and my car was ready to drive again. Both Lindsay and Jay were super nice and helpful, and I wished that they were the FIRST number that I called as I wasted so much time calling and speaking to the other 6 places that were higher ranked in Google results. It took Lokuta's less than an hour to get me back on the road again so from my experience, Jay & Lindsay from Lokuta's should be your FIRST call. Thank you both!

Y'all, we had a saga trying to drive from NC to the Upstate NY. Lokuta's was the 6th tow truck I called on Friday just before 5 pm. Nobody could pick up 3 kids, a dog, my sister, and myself. In the pouring rain with cars whipping past on I-81, Jay came out and rescued us. He drove us to get a car rental, then he took our SUV to his garage. It took Jay and his guys multiple days to figure out what was wrong, but miraculously, he did. An error by the mechanic that serviced our SUV before our trip allowed a maple helicopter to enter the mass air system. If he hadn't seen a tiny piece that looked like a tab sticking out, we might have had a very pricey repair. We are so grateful for his perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty!

On a Thursday, our daughter's Ford Explorer began acting up on Rt. 81 during her trip from NC to Central NY. She stopped at a garage along the way where the mechanic noticed she had no air filter. Prior to the trip, her local garage had apparently removed, but failed to replace, the filter. With 3 small children, the family dog, and her younger sister in the vehicle, she continued north until the vehicle lost power and she creeped to a wide shoulder. In the middle of a torrential downpour, she called several garages before she found Lokuta's who had a tow truck large enough to handle them all. Lokuta's loaded the car and family into the flatbed, then took them to Enterprise where they could rent a car for the weekend. The vehicle's codes pointed to a catalytic converter ($$$). The owner was convinced it was something else. He ultimately found the problem - a maple helicopter (seed) wedge in the intake. He could have been dishonest and pushed for the expensive repair, but did not. Honesty and great highway service earn 5 stars.

Only five stars because that is all there is. I would give more stars if possible.I am a semi driver and I called Jay was out within 30 minutes. He asked me questions on what my truck was doing and tried to diagnose the problem before he came out. Once on site Jay spent over 1 hr trouble shooting to try and save me a tow bill. Once he towed me to his shop he continued to diagnose the problem at midnight. He told me that it was going to need his mechanic in the morning and offered me a ride to a hotel and I decided to sleep in the truck. The next morning my truck was diagnosed with a major repair problem with #6 cylinder and something went thru the turbo, "major job". Jay and his family checked on hotels nearby as I booked a flight for home, they took time out of their own life to bring me to a hotel and Jay even offered me a car if I needed to run around. I am from a small town in Missouri and it is hard to find people as Genuine and kind as these folks. I plan to stay in contact with these folks and highly recommend them to anyone.Thank you all very much.

I contacted AAA because I needed a tow truck. They contracted with Lokuta s towing. The tow truck driver was either under the influence of something or just dumb but he couldn t back the truck up to our car and after trying several times he reversed really fast and smashed our front bumper. It did quit a bit of damage because the two fork type things on the back of the tow truck went through our bumper putting a big hole on each side of the bumper. The driver got on the phone said he was calling his boss. He assured me they were going to fix it so I didn t make a police report. After they had my car for a week and would not take my phone calls or return my messages I went there. They hadn t done any repairs to my car and actually accused me of lying and said the bumper already had that damage. They quoted me an astronomical price to fix the damage (that their driver did). They were acting very shady and threatened me with violence if I didn t take my car. Being a woman in my 60 s and only had my daughter with me I left with my car. There is something wrong with this place. The workers were all very rude and threatening. Since I trusted the drivers word that they were going to fix it I didn t call the police to make an accident report so I knew the police wouldn t help if I called at that point and I honestly felt afraid of them. I ve just read another account on a different site saying that messages were not returned and then finally they responded with vulgar language to that customer. This place is run by shady people. SEMI TRUCK OWNERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!I will explain why:please read to the end I was overcharged,received terrible service in past 13 years from mechanic and shop who don t know nothing about semi trucks,they almost ruined my 2017 Volvo d13 engine ..it happened around a month ago, I'm writing about it only now because all this time I've been helping Ukrainian defenders, my parents and relatives in Ukraine .I needed to replace the turbo on my 2017 VOLVO VNL780 I call him to see if they can fix it,-they tell me yes that not a problem,when they towed my truck I ask shop owner how much and how long-he tell me 3-4 hours/$129h that was in evening and in the next morning mechanic start replacing turbo-in processing through his incompetence he drying 8 gallons of coolant to shop floor, when he took off the old turbo I saw that pieces of metal were not on the old impeller (photo attached) I asked the mechanic where the metal went, he answered me-flew into the exhaust(here I realized that he knew nothing about semi trucks)-in all Volvo installed PDF System!!!-all metal pieces can stuck in PDF System or in the Intercooler!!!than they change oil(don t know for now what oil in my engine-synthetic,semi synthetic or regular diesel oil but anyway ,when it came time to pay for service they show me invoice -towing-the price we agreed on,oil change-Ok,6h-/$129turbo replacement-should be 3-4h and they charge me for 8g of coolant what mechanic drying on floor-I asking why I should pay for coolant-that not my fault, to which Owner shouted - I put the truck in the cage and you have to pay a double bill he will not let me go .I was shocked after 30 minutes of waiting they tell me I can paid the first invoice, they gave me the truck and I left,I delivered my load than reloaded and turned back home .Monday I go to Volvo dealership and they told me that I was LYCKY to get home because the metal from the turbo flew into the intercooler and stuck there, if not stuck then would have flown into the engine and would have to do over the engine hall, the dealer said he never puts new turbo until will check PDF system and intercooler because it should be pieces of metal or oil there.

We were travelling from Canada when a part of our van broke. Since they knew we were travelling they looked at it the next day. Since it was a big job that needed expertise, they contacted for us a place nearby that could do the repair we needed. We recommend this place, and we are back on the road ! I had a tire blow out due to road construction and was towed to this garage by AAA. Although I am local, I have never heard of or even seen this garage. My car was only a few weeks old and I was a bit apprehensive to use an unknown garage. With that said, I am completely satisfied with the service that I received. Lindy (I believe that is her name) was in touch with me throughout the morning, and she kept me updated on the progress of the service. I feel that the price was fair, the communication was excellent, and the service was great. I will definitely use this garage for any future service I may need.Service: Tire change

Amazing place.. Jay is a great person.. My car broke down near toll plaza at night . They towed the vehicle and fixed it in couple of hours. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Very reasonable rates and great service and i would say i have never has a better experience in an auto workshop before

I was in a bad accident Friday morning while traveling to work on route 81. My car is totaled, luckily Lokuta s was there to get me off the road quickly and safely. My whole experience with Lokuta s was excellent, and even though it was a very difficult day for me, they went out of their way to make it a little better. Lindsey who works in the office even went so far as to help me find a vehicle to rent since all of the rental places in the area were sold out. I honestly don t know what I would have done that day without Lindsey s help and Lokuta s. Thank you Lokuta s you guys rock!Service: Special vehicle towing

They diagnosed the car wrong and changed the water pump and sensor and charged me for towing plus repairs for a total of 1500$next day the problem still occurs. I called them the guy who fixed my car was not there today. Terrible, one of the worst tow companies I have ever used. Was told multiple times the driver was on his way with my car. Waited 6 hours when it was a 30min drive until I called for the fifth time. By far the worst company/business I have ever used.

$122 for 2 used tires!!! DO NOT waste your money!!!! We called for roadside assistance but 81 was a parking lot, so by the time the poor tow truck driver got there a cop, and 2 pedestrians had already helped us!!!! But after getting the spare on, we saw that their was an alignment issue really going on and the flat tire was caused by that!Since we made the poor guy drive out to help us, we thought we could AT LEAST buy a pair of used tires off them! Yes, that s right I said USED tires! So 2 tires at $35 a piece.... that s $70!!!!! But they charged us for the service call as well!!!!! And after at arriving safely at Lakuta s Garage with no help from them! It took an hour for them to put 2 tires on the rims, to mount and balance!It wasn t quick, it wasn t easy, painless OR cheap! They only got the extra star because the tow truck driver let us wash up and treated us like human beings.

Absolutely awesome place! Was working out in the snow and got a nail in my tire, called AAA and they sent Lokuta s out, driver got there quick got my car towed and when I called later on in the day the lady that answered was so very nice explaining they didn t have time to look at my tire because they had been so non stop but that they would try to look at it before they closed well maybe an hr later and she called and said it was fixed! I will definitely be using them again! Thank you!

Locked my keys in my car. Super hot day and had to wait with my four year old. They were there in about 40 minutes and had my car unlocked in about 2. Jay was GREAT with my son...very patient, answering his questions and giving him attention. Very pleased.

Lokuta garage is awesome. I need a tow because my tire what's flat and no could get it off said the tire is stripped the boltsJay the tow truck driver. Said he can get the tire off and went out of way to do. It. I wanted to pay him extra for it. He said that is on the house and merry Christmas. Because it was five days from Christmas.
