I cannot give a good review because the car was pulling to the right after the alignment. The owner claimed everything was perfectly done even when it obviously wasn t.There were two issues, which I learned about at two other independent services. 1. Stuck screws that prevented full wheel alignment. 2. Lower control arms to be replaced, as otherwise wheel alignment would not hold for long Question remains, why did they do wheel alignment in the first place??!! Why didn t they tell me about these issues??!!

My Hyundai Kona threw its timing chain. Mega-problem. Had it towed to Vinny's where they did the diagnosis, confirmed it was the timing chain. Here is where it gets interesting. They called the Hyundai dealership, confirmed the repairs would be covered by warranty (congrats Hyundai), and then called me to tell me to have the car towed to the dealer where they would do the repairs under warranty for free (actual cost was about $1500). THIS is what I call outstanding service. They could have just done the repair and billed me. They did not. I paid $100 for their diagnosis and saved $1400. That is what I call integrity.

I went here with my lowered vehicle to get it aligned, which they said they could. However, during the alignment, they mentioned that a lot of the parameters were non adjustable (which is true) and that would make it impossible to have both the wheels and the steering wheel straight. I left with a very crooked steering wheel thinking I was out of options and was also charged a hefty sum (179.99) for alignment.Following this, I found a different shop that was able to completely fix my alignment making the car drive straight with a straight steering wheel, only for 79.99. Moreover, when the second shop checked my alignment, they explained to me how out of spec my car was, which was caused due to getting the alignment here.

I was in a pinch with a screw in my tire while at work. They got me in first thing as soon as I got there and I had a great chat with the woman at the desk while I waited. I appreciate their attention to my need to get back to work quickly. I would definitely go back for my tire needs in the future.

I was in urgent need of tires and this shop saved me! Extremely friendly, got me in and out same day, and as well quoted me for a VERY reasonable price. I will absolutely be back! :)

I needed one of my vehicles aligned asap because it had to be back on the road at 2pm I called at 9am he squeezed me in and had me done at 1230. Amazing work I highly recommend. The prices are amazing. I have a fleet over 100 vehicles and he is my new guy

Came here to get a custom allignment, vinney was very upfront and knowledgeable about my vehicle and what I should expect (98 civic on it s nuts). Showed me the vehicle throughout the alignment and consulted w me the whole time, will 100% come here again for future alignments. Very reasonable price as well for the extra work involved as well. Got my camber and toe spot on, and gave me suggestions on how to fix what wasn t able to be alligned.

I needed one used tire for my 2008 Honda. I did some research and called Vinnys. From the moment Kiki answered the phone it could not have been a more pleasant experience. She told me to come on over and they would take of it right away. Having never been there before and based on many past experiences with other mechanics I remained skeptical. When I arrived there was no one at the front counter but Joe quickly came from the garage area to assist me. Within 10 minutes he found the exact used tire offered me a great price that included install,balance and removal of old tire and did the work immediately. All in all one of the best experiences I ve ever had with car service.

Amazing customer service. Keke was super friendly and personable making the appointment for my alignment. I came about an hour early for my appointment and they were able to work on it immediately; incredibly accommodating. Vinny is also super friendly and willing to explain what goes on, how it works, and assures you that you won t be charged for anything you re not prepared for without your consent. Wonderful experience.

This place saved me when I found myself in a bind just hours before I was supposed to be on the road for a long drive. After noticing a nail in my tire before I was about to leave, I called about 5 places before settling on Vinny's. I spoke with Joe on the phone, who explained that they were very busy but could help me out if I could come in right away. He removed the nail and patched my tire up in about 5 mins and sent me on my way. Would definitely come back to this place for any other auto needs!

Vinny and Joe of Vinny's Alignment and Tires were a tremendous help with an issue my mother's 1996 Ford Crown Victoria had. My father and I had taken the vehicle to a number of shops closer to their home and were repeatedly told that the vehicle could not be aligned due to the lack of camber adjustment being available. This is something that can typically occur due to prior damage or worn parts. The trouble is that my parents have had this vehicle for the last 20 years and since it had 9,000 miles (it now has 4X,XXX) with it never having been in an accident and rarely striking a pothole. Given that the vehicle was wearing tires extremely prematurely, something was going to have to be done as this car is still too nice to send out to pasture. After a significant amount of research, I was led to Vinny's based upon their prior reviews and ratings online and felt that they were most likely our last chance and hope to get this resolved. Right from the start Vinny and Joe were both very professional and open and candid with regard to the entire process as well as about what they were doing. When all was said and done they WERE able to get the vehicle lined up, but they were also up front about the fact that they could only just get it into spec and not into the optimal range. Given the age of the vehicle, the appropriate camber kit to assist with fixing the issue is not available. With no obvious physical damage to the suspension parts, Vinny and Joe indicated that the only way to be most likely to fix the issue would be to replace the front suspension components on the vehicle. The price he quoted to do it, while as significant as you'd expect it to be for that type of work, seemed to be reasonable for the quality of parts he was intending to use. My parents are ultimately still unsure whether or not they want to sink the additional money into the vehicle based upon what they perceive to be the overall value of it, but the most important takeaway is that Vinny and Joe were able to do what other shops were not, which is to at least get the vehicle aligned so as to get it to the point where my parents can review their options without immediately getting rid of the vehicle. My parents and I want to thank them both for all that they did. If you are looking for a competent, talented, and reasonable alignment shop, I would suggest not looking any further and giving Vinny's a chance to correct your alignment issue. Even though this shop isn't geographically close for either my parents or I, I can't imagine going anywhere else if I had a vehicle with an alignment problem. Thanks again, guys!!

This has to be the best auto place in Pittsburgh. I went there for a alignment and the service was great from the start. I pulled up to this place the guys came out and pulled my truck in quickly. They were very welcoming and friendly. I felt like I known these guys forever. The service was quick they told me exactly what was going on. Very honest guys there like a family there and I enjoyed there bowl of candy and ice cold water. I recommend this place to my family and friends.

Pop and Vinny are the best! I drive a lowered vehicle and they were able to accommodate and get it riding like new again. Had a few bad experiences with dishonest shops, and was quite thankful to find this place. Also came in under estimate, which is always nice! Only thing of note is a 3% surcharge if paying with card--pay cash if you have it!

If you have a lowered car Vinny's is a must for all your alignment needs. (I don't like to take my car to the shop but there are some things you just have to do to do right...and Vinny's sure got it right!) The owner is extremely friendly and straight forward, he will tell you what you need no BS. Same goes who Joe who actually did my alignment. They have very fair and competitive prices for being located in Pittsburgh, this is a place where your money will NOT go to waste. The shop has that mom and pop feel where the customer is actually a person and not another paycheck. I mean they were able to jam my appointment into their busy schedule within 2 days of callingI drive a 1999 BMW M3 that I recently lowered to about 4 inches off the ground and installed aftermarket alignment parts. I wanted custom alignment specs based off of performance not BMW's OEM specs. Being lowered most shops can't and most won't. I gave him a sheet of paper with my specs and asked to him to try and get them close as possible. Most shops won't take a customer's specs into consideration but Vinny's cares about the customer. All my post alignment specs are within my requested requirements. I've attached pictures of my requested specs and alignment machine print out. The only one they couldn't get within my requirements was rear toe and that is due to my car having an R-Title from a previous accident. I expected that but Joe still tried to get it as close as possible and even called me to inform me of the situation.Overall great place to go, and an ABSOLUTE MUST if your car is lowered. You won't find a place better than Vinny's in Pittsburgh! My car handles beautifully now thanks to Vinny

Had new tires put on and front end realigned. You can drop off or wait. I called before and they were able to start working on it right away. They explain and show the customer each issue with their vehicles and then the customer decides what they want to do. They make a recommendation if the customer doesn't know. Friendly and straight forward. Would definitely go back.

Be careful. Especially if you don t know cars.My vehicle was pulling to one side. I thought it was the tire. He swore it was the control arm. Charged me $700 for the fix.3 days later my vehicle still had a nasty pull. Took it back and told me the tire was bad. Another $150.Proceed with caution. Check around first.

I had the pleasure of getting new tires from the mechanic, Mario at the shop two months ago. He is an extremely knowledgeable car guy who s job it is to make your life easier. Getting an honest and capable mechanic is extremely useful for a person like me who is generally newer to the area. I have been back in recent days to fix a minor problem I had with my undercarriage from snow build up. Every one on staff is extremely friendly and there are places to eat and drink down the street while you are waiting for your car to be done .

horrible service but cheap prices (always bad for business) went for an alignment 2/3 times for them to say they couldn t fix what they broke and for them to lie about they couldn t do it because of the back axel was bent which was false my dealership said it had nothing to do with the back at all. And to make it worse the receptionists was in office smoking a cigarette upon walking in to make matters worse they aligned my truck 2 times prior to them saying they couldn t align it the 3rd time paper work proves everything and if you want to mess up your vehicles(alignment) then I suggest going to vinny s if not go elsewhere !!!via the picture is what they had left my truck

I don't often give five star reviews, but this place is great super friendly and helpful staff with affordable prices. I'm originally from out of town so when I asked around Polish Hill where to go everyone told me this is the spot and I see why. They will always get my business while I'm in Pittsburgh and I will always recommend them if anyone asks me.

Vinny was able to take my car in almost immediately. While my tires were off, he inspected the car for me and shared with me his findings while still leaving me the freedom of only getting my tires installed. Bring that it was my first time here, I was skeptical about his diagnosis. However, he showed me exactly what needed to be changed and the wear that was on it. Friendly and fair.

Great experience and a wonderful staff! Was in a bit of a pinch with a flat and a bad spare tire, they took my car in first thing, no appointment needed, and I was out in 30 minutes. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Definitely going back there!

i blew my tire today, and they were the only shop that was able to help me. and when i couldn t drive my car because the tire came off the rim, they sent a tech over to help me out! thank you vinny s!!

Needed to replace a tire due to the crazy potholes in the burgh.. called around a lot of tire shops and many cannot do it for a few days since they had to order the tire. Luckily I was able to call vinnnys and they were able to replace the tire the same day! The staff was very friendly and the tire was super cheap, they also were able to install a lightbulb. I would definitely recommend as they are friendly, down to earth, straightforward, and are very reasonable with prices

I found the listing in craigslist. The staffs are friendly and quick in fixing things. Only issue I had is, I was given a commitment on phone but when I went all the way there(10 miles crossing downtown) they didn't have the tires that I particularly asked for. I asked for an estimate for TPMS sensor fixing gave me a rate of 5$ each tire I asked couple of times. Later when I was billed it was 15$ per tire claiming we have to remove the tire and fix it(I am okay with the cost but could have said before clearly). while doing this there was air leak and needed spare to fix that. Actual cost for that spare was 4$ and I was charged 7$ each(75% spike). I called them to clarify before writing this review and he honestly said yes I got the spare for 4$ and I made profit like others. My suggestion get a quote before they start working. Preferably buy any required spare and hand it over. I will visit them in future but will take a quote before they start the work.

This Scum bag told me I needed a lower ball joint and a outter tie rod before he can do my alignment and gave me a $550 estimate. I told him my car was just in a accident and they replaced the inner tie rod and the insurance company will cover the cost if they are bad. He ignored the insurance companies calls and I even called twice and asked him to call them which left me confused. So when I went to a different shop today they told me there was nothing wrong with the tie rod or ball joint and they did the alignment, and explained to me that Vinny was ok with scamming me but was smart enough not to scam the insurance company because it would ve been fraud. Long story short get a second opinion before going with this shady business. Most likely a lot of fake reviews no way I m the first they tried to scam

I got break pads and rotors replaced with no line and no caliper work done for $300 less than I was quoted for around 2 miles away in PGH. It is worth the drive. Quick service and friendly help, walk into N. Oakland from there.
