Great experience with this company! I was able to get a same day appointment for an oil change, and they had finished the service within an hour. Will definitely use them in the future!

Nice staff, clean bathroom, and staff will pump your gas (cost a little more), but especially helpful if you have a disability.

Google seriously needs to start allowing a review without stars because after my experience they deserve none. Rental checkout was fast and easy and the young man I chopped it up with over Turner's Iced Tea was super cool. -- When I returned, I was greeted almost dismissively by the bald guy working the counter, and was accused of damaging the vehicle and all but brazenly accused of lying about it with a sneer of "be honest." the literal ONLY way to perform the damage accused of would be by high speed impact into a pole or stanchion, in which case i likely would have TIPPED such a large vehicle (fifteen footer). The guy didn't do a return walk around or any checkout paperwork with me, just went out on his own then came back in going "oh this damage was there and it's not on my paper plus you didn't get the insurance so you HAD to have done it "BE HONEST" like i have any reason to lie, I'm a professional driver with a AAA premier membership. and the comment about me not getting "their" insurance? I'd LOVE to see that hold up in court. How do i know that HE didn't do it? He says I don't have photos from checkout...well neither did he. My checkout papers don't say anything about damages..neither did his. Yet there's NUMEROUS scratches and dents that were pointed out before i checked out that I was told not to worry about. then he outright refused to check the vehicle in, and/or give me any form of receipt (likely assuming they could just take an unauthorized amount out of my account). I'll be avoiding this place like a PLAGUE from now on. Thankfully my bank agreed to block any surcharge besides the original $178 and change agreed upon. NO STARS.

First shop I've ever encountered that turns down jobs because they can't move the vehicle onto their lift because it won't start. Shouldn't an auto repair shop have the ability to move large disabled vehicles into their garage? Or maybe the job was too hard for them? I don't know, I guess nobody wants to work anymore.

Good and friendly service at fair prices. My wife has taken her car there for service since we moved to Forest Hills. Recently she had a hole in her exhaust and instead of saying she would have to pay msrp for a manufacturer replacement they referred us to Marty's Muffler and welding in North Versailles. 1800 part turned into a $60 fix in under half an hour.

I love tykes!!! It's super hard to find a good and trustworthy mechanic, especially for single women. When I first went to tikes I was quoted a reasonable amount for my repair, I returned with cash in hand and when I went to hand it to the mechanic he stopped me and told me the cost was less than expected! I was so surprised because he didn't have to tell me that and could've just over charged me and I wouldn't have known the difference. This made me a loyal trusting customer and now i won't go anywhere else. I refer everyone i know to them. They've never been rude to me. They're not overly talkative most of the time. They just always get the job done! Great prices, honesty, and quality work....what more can you ask for.

I got towed there on a Friday with a cracked CV axle. Was told it would probably not be done until the next week. It was done the next day!!! Tykes has always taken care of my family's cars all the way back to the 70s. Thank You !!

Commercial was a STAGED joke on a rear drum brake. Looks like they hit it with a hammer and broke it.Must be afraid of losing money on inspections.

Three of my friends go here and I decided to give them a try even though they are 25 mins away. What a great place! Matt was SUPER friendly and helpful. Everyone that came through the door while I was there was greeted in a way that gives you those small town warm fuzzies. The car was done very quickly, considering I had no set appointment. The mechanic was very nice and clear about what I needed. I also heard a mechanic speak with another customer about what did need fixed and also what DIDN'T. And WHY. . I find that very trustworthy. I will definitely be going back!

Tyke's Gas Station and Garage Repair Station has been serving the Churchhill Community for years. They do good work. The Owner and staff are very nice people. You can get gas. Get car repair service, play your lottery. It a nice place. I use 2 work close by. I utilize their services 4 a long time.

When my new car's tires were destroyed by potholes and AAA towed me there because they were the nearest garage, I really didn't know what to think. Tyke's was able to order new tires and get them on my car in a week at a better price than I had expected. Very happy with the service I received.

Came in for an oil change and to have brakes checked out. They were all really nice and explained what I needed. Their prices are fair as well, they don't overcharge. Definitely recommend

The service is really good and the work they do on vehicles is good . My only issue is that the real heavy guy who works there I m not trying to be rude don t know his name, but he is rude always. Not speaking a little snappy and not holding the door a couple times as I was coming in or out and he was going to pump gas, but everything and everyone else is Good!

Best and most trustworthy service station I have ever dealt with. First learned of them years ago when pulling in for a brake light bulb after being stopped by a police officer. They replaced the bulb at no charge. I have been going there ever since and they have saved me money on several occasions by not doing unnecessary work. I've never had vehicle there twice for the same problem, it's always fixed right the first time. I highly recommend Tykes.

My family has used this place for decades to take care of our cars. About 10 years ago I was living in the city so I took my car to Baum Blvd Automotive for its yearly inspection instead and they said it needed over 1k worth of work! So I took it back to Tyke s and they told me I needed some tires but that the rest of the issues weren t urgent, so I was out of there for under $400. They ve always treated my family very fairly and their prices are also fair. I now live way across town but I still take my car here and will as long as it s around!

These people are great! Have been taking my cars here for inspection, emissions and random work for years. They are honest, reliable and will not rip you off. Prices are reasonable as well. You will not be disappointed.

Had a tire emergency today and they were accommodating and close to our house. However, when we picked the vehicle up the attendant was very rude and unhelpful. They gave us the wrong keys at first and were not helpful locating our vehicle. Only use this place if you must and not if you have a close alternative.

They do great work, in the time frame quoted. I trust them completley with any of my vehicles. If you're tired of the large auto repair shops who you may or may not be able to trust, go to Tykes. They are a AAA repair shop, highly recommended.

I love this place! I've had my car serviced there for many years and they don't take advantage of women not knowing about cars, etc. Their pricing is very fair. They are as nice as can be. Highly recommend.

Never liked them.alwayd made you come inside even with credit card. No swipe at pump untill recently. I've lived in area since 1991. Never greets you. Mechanic with white hair is excellent though.

Picked up car I had a problem with them. They fixed them but didn't clean pads . I almost wrecked.bTold me they couldn't finish inspection the car was in back. I left called my regular mechanic,the work had already been done and car inspected. I guess that was just a little jokkie on the the customer picking up the car. I'm 62 not very funny to me. Good luck with their business that's why I quit going there before. If I want jokes I'll go see some other clown
