I'm very happy with my experience there - Adam is a true professional and a 100% straight-shooter. I had gotten into a bad run with the Toyota dealership for my 2008 Camry where every visit they "discovered" more things that should be fixed (at exorbitant prices). They even damaged my AC system while changing the water pump, told me it was normal age and wear, and were going to charge me big bucks to fix it. Adam did what almost no shop does these days. He brought me into the garage and showed me exactly what happened to my AC - the Toyota mechanic had left a line disconnected and the main serpentine belt wore a hole into it. He also showed me that about half of the things that Toyota wanted to "fix" were still fine, and found one or two other items that could use service in the near future. He showed and/or demonstrated each one. He gave me an estimate, then ordered the parts and did the work. I was back on the road in 2 days. I am very happy with the quality of his work, and will definitely be back to Schneider's when needed (hopefully not for a while). He's probably not the cheapest around, but I believe that you get what you pay for (unless it's a dealership). He warranties his work for 2 years, which is impressive.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, A/C installation & repair

I was greeted by Adam. I took to him at first until he did not hear my concerns. He insisted that I needed a part that I didn't need. He has had my car since 2 Wednesday ago. And has not fixed anything. And he wants to charge me for not doing what I asked him to do. They are not a company I would refer to anyone at all. As he will not give me my car back and charging me for what I didn't ask for,force me to get it, and the car still doesn't work with his idea of price gorging. If there was a -star, I would give that.... He intentionally destroyed my starter. So I can buy a new one. Car still don't work,he insured me that was the problem, and not what the car told me the problem was.he still has my car.Update:This is what we was charged and the car is still broke, I went in there for brakes now it's the engine. Do not l let them work on your car....

We are here from out of town for a Steelers game & our heater hose connector busted, we drove straight to this shop which was the only shop open on a Sunday & they took care of us right away! We had to stay over night waiting on the part, but as soon as the part arrived our car was fixed in less than an hour and on the road home! Friendly, accurate customer service and communication skills! 10 out of 10!

Me and my daughter and friends traveled to Pittsburgh , 2hrs from home in akron oh to a concert over at the Roxian theater , afterwards while leaving the venue parking lot , my cv axle snapped . It left us stranded and we spent the night in our car , tripple a were understaffed and couldnt send help . After getting parts from the parts store , i didn't have the tools to get myself back on the road .. i walked to their shop and asked for help wout hesitation and out of sheer kindness the guy that worked there dropped what he was doing brought tools and helped us out

I have been going to this shop for years and when the previous owner retired I was stuck without a mechanic I could trust. Luckily, the shop is back open and I just received service with the same care I have been accustomed to . Adam has taken the reigns and he provided excellent service on my vehicle. He took the time to take me in the garage and actually show me the work that was being done. He gave me a fair price and explained the bill with transparency in mind. I am thankful to have a reliable mechanic again. Thanks Adam and team!

11:30am dropped car off**WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE DONE BY 1 OR 1:30PM.2:42pm I called in & they said they were having problems with getting lug nuts off before I called in but theyre past that now.5:10pm putting tire back on and will do the alignment and be done.**I KNOW HOW LONG AN ALIGNMENT TAKES BECAUSE I'VE WATCHED ONE PERFORMED ON MY CAR BEFORE.6:07pm still no car, still no call, NOTHING.**THEY CLOSE AT 7PM.6:15pm CALLED AGAIN: Me: What is going on with my car?? (provided description of it)Him: Its done but I have a customer here, it'll be another 10minMe: Is it really going to be 10min, because I've been waiting all day??Him: Yes.Me: Ok, byeI havent been to this shop in about 8yrs and this is the worst service I've received in a very long time and a horrible, "welcome back, thanks for returning" experience I've EVER had. People have lives, TWO WEEKEND DAYS TO ENJOY & i sat in the house ALL DAY WAITING ON MY CAR, while my kids waited on cookies that I promised them HOURS AGO.Dont advertise that you can get something done in 2.5h and you take 7hrs instead. I cant even explain how mad I am.COMMUNICATING COULD'VE SOLVED ALOT, BUT THEY LET HOUR AFTER HOUR GO BY, EVEN AFTER I CALLED 3 TIMES. its now 6:35pm and I still dont have my car & he said 10 more minutes (that was 15min ago)-->1 ISSUE STILL REMAINS WITH MY CAR: Wasnt fixed, got it back yesterday 10/22/23 & it still had a loud noise, took it to another shop & they dont know how you missed my front calipers needing done. Theyre not retracting how theyre suppsed to. So thats another $500.** They need to be monitored by the Owner, to make sure service is going smoothly, ITS NOT ALWAYS JUST ABOUT MONEY!!!!!!!

We were out of town and desperately needing help. Girl on phone was super helpful and friendly. She also asked a lot of questions and made myProblem seem important to get right.We brought the car right in!! Unfortunately we needed all new tires d/t flat spots, d/t broken tire belts.They had us out of there in 2 hrs.I have never had an easier experience bringing car in for work.Thank YouBrian and JessicaService: Auto maintenance

I called to get an Inspection and oil change. They were able to fit me in within 3 days. Faster than my dealer and other auto service providers. They took my car in within a half hr and had me out within an hr. All staff was very personable and professional. I give it a 10 out of 10. Will return and also recommend to all family and friends. Be careful when people say check our reviews!!!I had a bad experience with this company,not only did this shop try and charge me $1750 for something the dealer charged me $500 for. I was charged about 50 bucks to tell me what I already knew.When I declined the work being done at this shop, I asked what was diagnosed, politely!!!!The lady said I'm not arguing or fighting with you man??? I said arguing?? Fighting??? I'm being totally respectful!!!!When people can't get over on you they get madd, and when "certain people" ask or question someone they are arguing or fighting???? That's crazy!Bad biz in my book.

My family has used Schneider's service for many years. He has always given excellent work for decent prices. In one instance, instead just charging me and doing the repair, he advised that it would be better to get another car. We believe he can be trusted and that's most important.

Hello. Let me preface this review by saying, I am not an employee of this company, neither was I asked to give a review. This place is magnificent. They are truly professional and friendly. I was in a tough situation to where I needed a specialized item, (part) braised. They took care of it. Glenn and Chuck are great. I didn't get the other fellow's name, but he was friendly too. Best prices and work on Mini Coopers! Also did work on our Ford Escape. Best prices, clean, professional, communicate with you right away, best customer service and diagnosed an issue on the Ford that has eluded three other mechanics. Prices are clearly posted; do not pressure you into things you don't need. Got brakes and an oil change on the Cooper; much better pricing than any other shop. Quick turnaround time -- same day for both,

Have you ever felt like you were being taken advantage of at a mechanic? If so, try Schneider's and you will have a completely different experience. Chuck takes the time to explain what is going on and what the options are to make the repair. Very friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.

Years ago I needed to have work done on my vehicle. The people were friendly and the costs were pretty reasonable but that was about 8 or 9 years ago. I know they do great work on your vehicle.

Chuck Schneider's garage is the only place i've ever been where I absolutely trust them not to rip me off. And they know what they are doing at this garage. His prices aren't cheap, but neither are the dealer's garage. Also, I never have to wait. When he says the car will be done by a certain time, it is done by a certain time. His business has been suffering lately from a lengthy construction project on West Carson Street. Make an appointment to have your car serviced there----it's worth the little bit of hassle with the construction. I have been taking my car to Chuck's for years and have NEVER had a problem of any sort.

Around the time when the state inspection was due, I'd been in and out of town so I didn't have enough time to research and carefully choose a shop. Thus, I ended up taking my car to Schneider's Auto where I could get an inspection without much wait. First off, the price for replacing a part the owner gave me in person was higher than what was previously quoted over the phone. Then, the owner provided me an incomplete estimate (missing labor charges), failed to identify obvious safety issues that needed to be addressed but instead wanted to spend 2-3 hours for diagnostic tests with no guarantee to locate a problem on brake lights - it turned out that the light bulbs were just needed to be replaced. Also, the owner did not go over problems with me even though I was waiting at the shop. After he charged for the inspection, he repeatedly refused to set up an appointment for a re-inspection. The next day I was forced to take my car to another shop and they found holes on my muffler - of note, I didn't have any problems with the muffler before nor did they tell me about the issues with the muffler during/after the first inspection at Schneider's.
