I ve been taking my vehicles to Mr. Tire, on McKnight Road, for over 10 years. This is the only place I have taken my vehicles, for maintenance, since I have lived in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Jason and his entire team are wonderful! The most important thing to me, in a mechanic, is honesty. His entire team encompasses this. in addition, they always go above and beyond I cannot recommend them enough!

I walked in for a tire patch. Never known a tire patch to take 40 minutes with no other cars on any lifts. Finally when my car was done the gentleman at the front told me it was 40 dollars and I was so stunned, I unfortunately had to pay because I had no other choice. Also the place is disgusting, cobwebs on the ceiling, windows were filthy, and the chairs were ripped. Also when the technician brought my car to me I got in and it absolutely reeked of pot. I m no prude to weed but having it smell like that in someone else s car is very unprofessional. Thank god I never have to come back.

These guys put four big tires on one of my SUVs, and also replaced two front tires on another one of my suvs, no balance issues no rims damaged, I was able to get on the schedule promptly was talked to professionally, Mike and Jason are very polite and made everything a breeze. Knowledgeable management and employees, deserves the five stars.

I purchased a car through Carvana and noticed that all 4 tires were dry rotted and very low tread. After calling Carvana I was told that I had to use one of their providers which Mr Tire was. I called and spoke with Jason who was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. He made an appointment the same day where he personally inspected my tires and confirmed that I needed 4 new tires. He immediately got ahold of the warranty company and within the hour they were approved and they were putting on new tires!! In addition, I had to get the car inspected for PA, he scheduled my appointment immediately and found a few other issues that would not pass inspection. He again called the warranty company and the repairs were covered under the purchase warranty.I highly recommend this shop, Jason and all the guys that I dealt with. They were professional, honest, prompt and polite at every step of the process. In this day and age it was refreshing to receive such fantastic service. A+.

Got to my oil change appointment early, they took care of it right away and I was out in less than an hour. Friendly, no nonsense, exactly what I needed. Thank you!Edited review: I had to take a star off due to the last time my car was taken in for an oil change no tire rotation was notated on the invoice. Per the Mr. Tire website tire rotation is automatic with an oil change but I didn't realize it until I took a second look at my invoice when I got home. At the time I didn''t feel like taking my car back to ask whether or not this service was even performed since it wasn't notated. I just assumed that all services advertised would be done. But now there will always be that doubt when I take my car in to get serviced. I know times are tough but please honor your advertised service with integrity showing what is actually done to the vehicle so that the service is not in question.

Jason Burns takes the fear out of visiting a mechanic. I always get fair, dependable service, they are extremely budget friendly! So helpful in pointing out what should be done now and what can wait. I originally visited the location for an oil change but received such excellent and courteous service, they are now my go-to for all my vehicles needs. I also have recommended family and friends and no one has had a bad experience. Great service, reasonably priced and just plain great to deal with!

I have been a customer for years. The store manager, Jason is a Tire God and has been my tire savior for years. Wouldn t go anywhere else, unless he goes there.

If I could score them in the negative I would. They over tightened the lug nuts with an air gun and stretched the threads one even broke off see picture. The few bucks you think you saved will cost you in the long run. And it s dangerous having all this stress on the wheels

Absolutely awesome experience, as always! I ve been going to this location since moving to Pittsburgh for college and always have great things to say about the crew here at Mr. Tire. As a 23 year-old woman, it s easy to feel sales pressure or get taken advantage of because of my age. However, I have NEVER felt that way here. Keep up the great service - ya ll are amazing

AVOID Mr. Tire! Do not ignore all the 1-star ratings. They overcharge and do push extra unnecessary work. I wish I had paid attention to the other 1-star reviews and had never gone there. They padded their bill with a variety of extra charges. I should've never gone there in the first place and will never go there again.Warning everyone now to find a reputable mechanic instead.

MR TIRE AUTO SERVICE CENTER 7400 MCKNIGHT RDPittsburgh, Pa 15237Thanks to the great Mechanics !!!! and Store Manager, and Assistant Manager, Jason Burns ,and Brad Schrott ,also Service Mechanic Brendan, for the top notch customer service i received.Not only did they do a great job, replacing front brakes and rear brakes at awesome !!! price they also found left rear brake light out replace at no extra charge & fix my shift gear knob handle on my 2015 Buick Verano they found was loose as a courtesy, no extra charge , that's going above and beyond!!!!Fantastic Customer Service

I really liked this shop when I first moved to Pittsburgh. Jason is great and it was always super easy to work with him. I had numerous visits for tire repairs and always left satisfied. However, there were a few things that led to me not staying with the shop. A misdiagnosis on a turbo issue was the first. Jason was thoughtful and said it was fine if I got a second opinion which I gladly did. Thankfully there was no issue with my vehicle. I finally decided not to return to this shop after failing a brake inspection. This failure came just 10k miles after I had 4 new brakes installed on the vehicle. Quality seems to fluctuate and I decided it best to choose a new auto shop.

Staff was able to fit me in for tires on Memorial Day. Everyone was very friendly. The manager was very friendly and helpful getting what I needed to be on my way. They knew my situation today ( had 1 tire blow and 2 others about to) and didn't try to upsell or push useless things on me. Just wanted to help get me back on my way.I will definitely be returning in the future.will recommended to anyone looking for great service

I would definitely recommend Mr Tire for inspection, tires and other seevice for your car. They have been inspecting my cars for 6+ years. They are always fair and straightforward, and they've never tried to push extra things that weren't needed. I will continue to be a customer as long as I have cars to drive.

The staff is usually pretty friendly. It s a good spot to get a quick and cheap oil change but I won t be returning for much more. Charged me $400 for labor on a job that shouldn t have even come close to that, and charges way too much for parts. I spent $400 more than I would have to get double the work done at a local shop. Like I said, decent spot for quick oil changes but I d suggest finding somewhere else for everything else.

Store manager Jason is always great, and this is the only store I trust taking our vehicles to, largely due to Jason s honesty and professionalism and the quality of work from the shop staff. Really trust this shop and the service they provide.

Can't say enough good things about my recent experience here! Scheduling was easy and the tires I wanted were available and with an instant rebate. More importantly, when a challenge came up with one of the wheel studs from previous damage by another service provider, they were quick to communicate with me, provided options and details, and went the extra mile to get my job done quickly and safely without a ton of extra cost. I highly recommend!

Been using these guys for years. Really appreciate the quality work and great customer service. Jason is great at explaining (or even showing sometimes) what might be going on with your car and he provides options with clear pros/cons of each... never trying to up-sell or force buying something I don't need. Really hard to find this level of integrity in that business. I'll be sticking with Jason and would recommend him and Mr. Tire to anyone.

Mr. Tire on McKnight Road is hands down the best tire place to go in the Pittsburgh area. I have been in so many pinches with needing new tires because of a flat (city roads suck) and they have always gotten me in same day and with incredibly fast service! Would 10/10 recommend going here! Today I had a flat on my way to work, got there at 10, it is now 10:14 and I m on the road again. Can t say enough good things about them!

Had an appointment for 8:30 for snow tires. Arrived at 8. Unfortunately there was confusion at the desk and apparently a technician didn't show up at the expected time. Took 4 hours to complete the work. Front desk person told me that it really shouldn't take that long and to not schedule work at the end of the month. Will probably give them another chance.Typically the experience is very good at this location. However, my last visit was very bad. I mad an appointment to have the oil changed, brakes checked because they were making noise, and calipers checked because Jason said they were leaking. They had the car for the entire day on a Friday. I never received a call about it and when I went in on Friday afternoon (prior to closing), I was informed that no work was done to the car. I reason I was given was that they were still looking for parts. I expressed my extreme frustration about not being updated and was told that if I wanted to wait an additional 30 minutes, they could quickly get the oil changed.I told them to keep the car and get the work done on Saturday. When I called on Saturday, I was told the car would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived, was given the total, and I paid. The receipt included the oil change, but there were 'not charge' notes next to the issues with the brakes. I'm not confident that anything was done with the brakes as they are still making noise. I'll have to take the car elsewhere to have it checked.Dealing with Brad was less than desirable. Overall, they could have done a better job at communicating with me about the issues, so that I could have planned the other things I needed to do.

Stopped in to have a tire repaired and mounted. This was my second experience with Mr Tire McKnight Rd and as usual they were awesome. The prior day Brad took great care to get me an early appointment. And he's super nice! When I got there it was about 15 minutes before they pulled my car into the bay. My tech (don't recall his name) came out to let me know what was going on. He also pointed out another issue that I was having and advised me to repair it asap. I appreciate the advice. Well they fixed the tire and changed the oil in a little over an hour. And the price was right. Service like this makes me a return customer. I'm all about loyalty when I'm well taken care of. I'll probably be back when the inspection is due at the end of the month. Thanks guy!

Jason has always done right by me, I don t have complaint per se. He does the best he can under the circumstances and with a light staff. Always professional and forthright. Prices for oil change is still relatively high compared to Penzoil, but definitely more reasonable than Firestone or a dealership or Jiffy Lube. Jason will tell you things he might see to watch for but is never high pressure with pushing for need to do any work to a vehicle. I always appreciate the level of service I receive at this particular Mr. Tire location.

I ve been going to Mr Tire on McKnight Road for years and my experience with Jason is ALWAYS GREAT. Jason is always very nice and kind to me but as I sit in the waiting area I can hear how he speaks to other clients. He treats everyone with kindness and has respect for our time as we wait for our cars to be repaired. In my opinion, he is very honest and extremely professional. I only take my car to Mr. Tire on McKnight Rd. I have been a customer at this location for 4 years and I have always been happy with the service I have received. Jason and Brad are outstanding and always go above and beyond to make sure everything is right. They explain what needs to be done and why and the prices are always fair. Everyone is friendly and the job is always completed in a timely manner. I won't go anywhere else as long as they are in charge.

Brad and Jason run a very customer friendly and efficient operation. They always get routine repairs and maintenance in a fast efficient manner at the highest of quality standards. They also give very helpful tips and advice of what to keep an eye on so I don't have any bad surprises when I'm out about. Keep it up guys. The great customer service is worth every penny.
