Brought in my vehicle for steering issues and they said they looked it over and couldn t find any issue. Paid the fee of $100 something. Picked car up and still same issue. Near impossible to park. Take the car back and said it s still having same issue and they said they could look at it again but would charge the fee again for the same issue they couldn t find the first time manager told me I could take it somewhere else if I wasn t happy with that. Take your car anywhere else, horrible service.

I was in a rush and had to get to class 3 hours away but my tires were in horrible condition, these guys were immediately able to get me in and change the tires. Josh was super helpful and accommodating. Super good dudes here.

The guys are really nice and they help me out if I really need it..I know they have been reasonable with the prices.I am adding to my review. The guys did my car inspection and,it passed with flying colors. They were fast ,so it was done in no time. The pricing is reasonable.I'm going in next week to get brake pads on. Jodi is a really nice person.and I feel like I can stop if I need too.

I stopped by today in between work s appointments because a tire warning had popped up on my car. I did feel safe driving back to the South Hills so stopped by. The manager and another gentleman were so kind and courteous to me. The checked my tires to make sure they were safe. I d recommend them to anyone, thank you!

Called down and spoke to Eric and asked if they can put a plug in a leak I had in my tire, he said bring it down and took it right in! Highly recommend their shop!

Changed my review after today. Needed to get my work van A/C charged and stopped in early morning. Jody was able to take me in right away and charge it. He couldn't have been more pleasant. He had me in and out of there within 30 to 45 mins. Thanks Jody, it was a pleasure today! I could make ice in this thing if I wanted.

The manger was able to help me out very quickly with a tire that needed plugged because it had a nail stuck on it. I d highly recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely be back with any needs I have.

Always quick help. They fixed my tire on the house and didn't have to do that. So extremely nice and that alone would be good enough for the 5 stars.

New to the area and needed a Reliable place to go.I figured I would test this place out by getting a simple oil change that came with a Free tire rotation.Picked up my car the next day.I Didn't even make it out of the parking lot before I noticed my tires weren't tighten on. Noticed them wobbling right away!!Also my change oil light was still on, they didn't bother resetting it.Also didn't put a new oil sticker in the windshield with the updated mileage for my next change. Tells me they didn't want a returning customer..To cut corners on a simple oil change speaks volumes about their service and customer care. Will not be returning.

Honest and friendly service.Stopped in to have my work truck serviced since they take our fleet provider.While I waited the guy at the front desk asked about my truck having out of state plates and I remembered I needed a form filled out to transfer the title to PA.He was awesome and let me email him the paper. He printed it out foe me and filled it out for free.He even helped set up an appointment for my personal car.Honest and friendly service.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. My disabled, elderly uncle took his car there got the check engine light. They told him it's throwing a transmission code but refused to tell him which one and told him to go pay for diagnostics at the dealer. (He works full time in spite of age and disability and is on a very fixed income. We only wanted the code to see if we could use another local shop or a small transmission shop and to know which place was better to make the appointment. He had been loyal regular customer they're for years and they were rude and dismissive. We try to keep all of our purchases local and small and I explained that and they basically don't care about anything there. Taking my uncle and our family's business elsewhere.Edited to add that the parts store down the street helped me get the correct code sans an expensive dealer trip for NO REASON.

I ve had great experiences with the team over the past 5-6 years. Today I dropped off my car anticipating needing brakes to be replaced - instead the tech evaluated everything and said that it wasn t yet necessary, and told me there was plenty left on the pads. Very appreciative of the honesty vs looking to maximize at the expense of the customer.

They ve taken care of so many things for me since moving here, and I ve never really had an issue! They ve been flexible with scheduling, and always upfront and honest. For example one day I was late to picking my car up- and Ken waited after closing hours for me- SO NICE AND KIND! A bonus is that they re open weekends, which is great for my work week schedule. They ve never overcharged or taken advantage of my lack of car knowledge. Highly suggest going here for all your car needs! :)

Fine if only need some basic work like an inspection or oil change. Anything beyond that and expect to be ripped off. Ended up taking my vehicle to a small local shop and got the same work done for less than half the cost of Monro's quote.

Started taking my car here when I moved to the area about 4 years ago and even if I move to a different part of Pittsburgh I will STILL take my car to this particular garage. Super trustworthy and helpful. Will explain any work they think needs done before they do anything and will actively help work out easier to afford options. They ve even allowed me to set up weekly appointments to spread out work on my car based on when i got paid so I could afford getting multiple things done. Easily the best place I ve ever taken my car

The mechanics here are great! I've been bringing my car here for routine maintenance and a couple vehicle emergencies for the past 3 years. As an independent woman who's lived far from my family for a decade now, I used to feel the need to get the "okay" from my dad and brother before allowing a mechanic to touch my car. THIS IS THE ONLY MECHANIC WHERE THEY'VE AGREED WITH EVERY RECOMMENDATION MADE. The recommendations have been with my safety and best interests in mind, and very reasonably priced.

Went there before and had a good experience a couple years ago. However, this time was all around different. My car is a 2015 and not driven very much. Went in for a state inspection. They called and told me that I needed back brakes and rotors at $550! I told them give me my car back and I ll get them done by my uncle that night and bring it back. All parts were a little over 100 bucks and they were the premium of the premium! Furthermore, the back brakes were measured with our own micrometer and, while low, were very very passable! Beware since some companies just want to sell you brakes. (Originally 1 Star)Edit: After seeing the review, they quickly called to make things right. They made a good faith effort to apologize numerous times. After seeing their response and taking care of me like I had expected in the first place from previous times, I wanted to edit this up to 4 stars.

I came in today for the free brake inspection. They were able to squeeze me in almost immediately. They told me what I needed and didn't pressure me into buying anything. The guy even offered some helpful tips. I came back later with another question and they were very helpful and friendly throughout. Will definitely be back for future car issues. Highly recommend this place.

We were in from out of town for the Buffalo Bills game and had some issues with our truck. Stopped in Monro and everyone was so helpful. Ken arranged for someone to take a look at our vehicle right away and fixed it very quickly for us and we were able to get back on the road in no time. Highly recommend

As a business owner, I recognize good customer service and this Monro location went above and beyond to help me out. Ken behind the desk was helpful and courteous and the work was done efficiently and quickly. Thank you for rescuing a lady with brake distress and for the smart decision to make that happen. You have restored my faith in taking care of customers and it is much appreciated!

I have been going here for about a year now for my oil changes. Ken is fantastic and always in a great mood. He gives great customer service and is honest about the issues with your vehicle. They are fairly priced and quick. Highly suggest going here!

Been coming here for years. The no pressure sales and fair, up front pricing is what brings me back for all my auto servicing and repairs. I recently moved about an hour away from this location, but the quality service and family feel makes this shop my only shop. I recommend this location to all my friends! For honest, quality work at a fair price, go see Ken and the boys....... tell em Dustin sent ya!!

Made an appointment here to get my oil changed and my state inspection due to being new to the area. Showed up the door is locked but the lights are on, the open sign is lit up, and no one answered the phone after calling 4 times. Given, it s a Sunday most places aren t open but that s why I made the appointment with them. If they aren t open why was I able to make an appointment and the posted times on the front door show that they should be open. I should ve at least received a call that they weren t going to be able to service me today. Unbelievable.

Got my car back after an inspection and rear brake job with the parking brake not working. They'd already had it two days and said I'd have to come back another day and leave it because they didn't have any mechanics left. He raised his voice in front of other customers and told me it wasn't related to the work they did and it probably came in that way (in which case they should have caught it during inspection.)

I've been a Monro customer since end of 2014, first at East Liberty and then I followed the team to the McKnight location. They're courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. They explain what they're doing and price it out before the work starts. They've worked on numerous things - oil changes, tires, exhaust system etc. - and I've always been very satisfied. Else, I wouldn't have followed the team from the previous store.

I went here for my state and emissions inspections and it was a great experience! The guys got the work done very quickly, but beyond that, everyone was so friendly and courteous, I wouldn t have minded if I had to wait longer. I highly recommend this Monro location and will be coming back here to get all my future repairs done.

Had a tire go flat and needs it to be resealed. Takes 10 mins. But they couldn t fit it in their busy schedule I guess until the next day.Nice guys here to be able to fit customers in that are stranded.Guess they don t want the $15 jobs. They want the home run $1500 brake jobs they change single moms.
