I have to thank the owner or whoever it was that helped my wife on Friday 22, 2024. She must have hit a huge pothole and blew out the side of our tire. She just came out of the hospital after receiving injections at the infusion center and was unable to change her tire. MJ took her in and threw the donut spare on for her at (no cost). Nice to know that there are good people and businesses left in this world. God Bless you guys and thank you so much. If we lived closer, you would have my business at all times.

They are very easy to work with, and very prompt. They always have my car done when they say! You can tell they really want to help you rather than just take your money and look for more problems like some other mechanics!

Love taking my vehicles to MJ s. Mike and Chris are very outgoing and willing to take and answer questions about my vehicles as well as provide top notch service. I drive 2010 and 2006 vehicles and they run smooth and i credit the expertise at MJ s for the longevity of my vehicles.

Have been using MJ for years and can t say enough great things about them. This past visit I was able to call the day before to secure an appointment for an oil change. This place is really good at what they do. Anytime I get my car worked on I feel like it s like driving a brand new car. Been coming for a few years now. Family members have gotten work done as well and are always pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit to MJ Automotive Center, and I was totally impressed. I called and spoke with Mike to schedule an appointment for an oil change, state inspection, and a weird humming noise . He suspected what the issue was with my Subaru by my description alone! He suggested that I stop by so he could drive my car, and order the appropriate parts before my scheduled time slot. I did and he confirmed what the issue was. He then called and kept me informed regarding the cost, the ordered parts, etc. Not only was my car fixed, but I was even able to pay online before picking it up. Everything went smoothly- and the weird humming noise is gone! I am a very happy customer and I wholeheartedly recommend this business. Love these guys. Very knowledgeable. Send you to other places that know how to get registration done correctly and fast. They themselves knocked it out of the park as well. Got my truck enhanced inspection done fast . Couldn't be happier. I'll continue going back here for all my needs.

MJ Automotive is always flexible and delivers great work! I called last minute because my brakes were bad and they were able to get me in the next day, and car was done by noon. They also always text you following your visit to make sure everything is going well with your car! This place is great.

I took our car to MJ after our AC had problems and Chris was very thorough with the explanation of the problems and the cost options.They are very professional and accommodating if the work goes over multiple days. I trust their judgement and will be servicing our car at MJ in the future as well.

I have taken an appointment for PA emissions test and General maintenance. They have done just PA ET and said that they were too busy and asked to come some other day. And in next visit , I asked them to inspect breaks as I was hearing some noise when I apply breaks. But they just changed oil and said everything else is fine. But after a few the breaks problem become worst. I have chosen this service center seeing the review but its totally wast of time and money. Now am not able to use my car and again waiting for an appointment with another service center to repair the breaks.Just to remind you, I had visited by 9AM on both the appointments. This is the place to go for repairs. The entire team is friendly. They fit me in last minute. I was up and ready to go in two days. A lot of places were booked until late August. I was freaking out but they managed to squeeze me in and devoted so much time and energy to figuring out the problem. I've never met a set of mechanics more dedicated to their work than this entire team. I've dealt with a ton of mechanics when I had other cars and this is the first place to get the problem right the first time around and they were very honest and upfront. You may see the five star reviews from other people and think they aren't legit. I am a girl from Maryland. And I've been all over the east coast. I've dealt with the worst of mechanics. This the location to visit to get accurate service when in Pittsburgh, PA and an emergency happens. I can only tell you to try for yourself and walk away a happy customer. I do hope and pray this is the first and last visit, but cars aren't always sturdy and I know I will be in good hands if I ever had to come back for more car repair work.

In a nutshell, MJ auto takes good care of their customers. We found MJ auto a few years ago and they have always been honest and upfront with their work. They are great communicators, answering plainly all of our questions, talking about what needs done, how long it will take, and the price. Pricing is fair, they are a mechanic you can trust. I would highly recommend them!

This service centre went above and beyond. We were travelling from Canada to Pittsburgh to visit our daughter. Two hours before arriving our 19 year old van overheated and we didn t know how we were going to get back home, lucky for us we towed the van to MJ Automotive service center and they were able to get us back on the road and we were able to return to Canada with no problems. They were very concerned and caring about our trip home as we are in our 80 s. Thank you so much for you great service and care. Simeon & Bonnie Daize

On this occasion I had my car in for an oil leak. The work was completed promptly as always. Transparent honest and affordable pricing is a standard that is very much appreciated. I ve been using MJ s for my 4 vehicles for a few years and have never been disappointed, not once. Now that s saying something.

These guys are incredible. My dad had an ancient van that was overheating. He drove it from Canada to Pittsburgh and we had no idea how we would get it back. It overheated every couple miles. MJ automotive worked on it and troubleshooted many potential problems. My parents returned home to Canada in the van, and haven't had an incident since. They were so kind and caring....top notch. I highly recommend them.

I moved to the area a few months ago and needed a trustworthy mechanic that was straight forward, honest and respectful of my time. The staff at MJ Automotive are just that straight forward, honest and very respectful of my time on the multiple occasions I have needed to bring my vehicle in for service. I would highly recommend this shop.

They are always professional and check in with you while providing service. Updates come and let you know if there is something needing addressed. After they provide service, they check in with you to ask how they did and if there is anything else needed.I continue to schedule appointments with them because of how we are treated when they have our vehicles at their garage. Started taking my car to Chris at MJ's old Brookline location in 2014 for general repairs, inspection, oil changes, etc... and haven't taken my car anywhere else since! Always trustworthy, dependable, and transparent about pricing and what needs done. Would recommend to anyone!

While having car problems is no fun, knowing that I can call MJ to work on my car gives me complete peace of mind. I have been a client for years, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic in Pittsburgh. They are upfront about the work that needs done, explain the problem and answer questions, and are in general just good guys. I really appreciated my last visit when they fit in my A/C repair during a busy week and got in done in one day.

MJ Automotive is fantastic! Their prices are super fair and they do great work. I also like that they text you the next day after you pick up your car to make sure everything is good. Excellent customer service, efficient, follow up and overall a place I trust. Mike and Chris at MJ auto are not only professional, accommodating, and friendly, but they are excel in what they do. I have taken my car their numerous times over the past couple years, and they have always returned the car in perfect working condition. They never try to oversell or take advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding auto mechanics. And best of all, they give you a fair price. Lifelong customer here!! Chris and Mike of MJ automotive are THE MOST professional and kind people I have worked with in this industry. I m a woman with a car that s getting older and naturally I have dealt with many different men in the auto service industry. I have never in my life felt more comfortable and I have been here twice now working with Chris about my car. The value is great and the service is outstanding. It s so nice finding the right mechanic in your area that s kind and understands your needs. I have known Mike a very long time. He is an honest and reasonable business owner and mechanic. I had my vehicle at MJ Automotive two different times for a variety of issues. Chris and Mike were sure to call and give me updates on the car and prices for the repairs.
