This was my first time going to Midas. The service was quick, the team communicated regularly with all that needed done. I had to get my brakes and rotors done really bad, which I had actually ordered back rotors instead of fronts. I was made aware right away and they helped figure out what todo next, considering my situation. I was able to get my brakes and rotors done and even adding on an oil change. I will definitely be returning, I was 100% comfortable asking questions especially not knowing much about cars I didn t feel played, figuring out next moves and not waiting to hear back for a long time. You should definitely try them out as well. 5 out of 5!

Not Cheap but Cheaper than the Mini Dealer.Great friendly service. They know what they are doing, they get the job done fast plus you get a warranty.No complaints, good people work here!

Don't go here! Your car will be perfectly fine until you bring it here. They don't care about you having children or a jobIt's all about business and them making money. They will destroy your car so you'll have to keep bringing it back for repairs. My experience.

Clearly trying to take advantage of people. My first and last time bringing a car here for inspection. They tried to get me to pay them $1700 to pass inspection, and a good bit of that was for improvements that aren't even required for inspection. I'm half convinced they did this since my girlfriend dropped off the car for me. Anyways, take your business elsewhere. Midas is in the money business.They also wouldn't give me straight answers when I was asking for specifics on what was required and what wasn't for inspection, which was a big red flag for me.UPDATE: Took my car elsewhere a couple days later and it passed.

I had my car fully serviced at Midas Station Street this week. Tyler and his team did a wonderful job! I had state inspection, new tires, oil change, complete winter check-up. Everyone was courteous and professional. My car rides 100% better and I feel confident and comfortable with what they did. Competitive prices and, considering the amount of work I had done, it was timely completed. Thanks to everyone at Midas! A genuinely positive experience! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had my oil changed and state inspection completed here and am very pleased with the service. Between my experience and observing interactions with other customers, the employees seem to genuinely care about the customer and take pride in their work. I would recommend this location.

The whole crew at the Midas on Station Street in East Liberty, Pittsburgh are awesome! Always take care of me when I need service for my vehicle. Most recently got me the perfect tires for my GR86. 5 stars, highly recommend!

My wife stopped in on Friday afternoon because she had a warning notice that she had a low tire pressure. Stephen helped her quickly and courteously. Very kind and respectful to her. We have been going to Midas for more years than we care to admit!

Would give this company zero stars if I could - DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! This is a corporation who only cares about money and not integrity or quality.I took my car there for a transmission diagnostic which cost $100. They quoted me $2,800 for repairs so I got a second opinion. Multiple other shops quoted me for under $2k to do the exact same work and when I took it to another shop, the mechanic informed me that Midas had quoted me for repairs I didn't need. Midas also left one of the cylinders hanging out of the engine and broke an air intake chamber while performing the diagnostic.I called to request a refund since I was not satisfied with the quality of the diagnostic and they refused to address any of the issues I brought up and claimed that they provided the service I asked for.Support local businesses who actually care about their customers.

Due to scheduling changes at my normal automotive shop I had my car inspection completed by Midas. It was the most efficient and seamless inspection service. And they did not try to find problems with my vehicle. They may have just become my new car inspection place

The heat shield on my Prius had come loose, causing a rattling sound. I came in to Midas for a walk-in appointment, and they fixed the rattling sound free of charge in under an hour!

The prices on their brakes is fair. They let me know everything that was happening and were informative. The only problem I had was the brake inspection cost. I knew I needed front rotors and pads, but they charged $29 for the inspection and added it to the price of repair. I just saw that they offer a free brake inspection that started 5/1. They also have a coupon for $30 off if I spend $300 or more. Both coupons were valid during my appointment. $59 is a lot of money to me.

They did my state inspection and necessary repairs quickly, which required removing my front bumper. Unfortunately, they did not properly put my bumper on back the clips, so I have to do it myself.Update: Avoid this location. I just drove on the highway for the first time after my service, and my car started shaking when braking at high speeds. I assume they messed something up with my tire rotation. 2 notable issues post-service has made me move my review from 2 stars to 1 star.Update 2: I submitted a request 4 days ago to remedy this situation per their advice, and I have yet to be contacted.Update 3: Been over a month since submitting my case, and I never heard back.

Charged 2000 for suspension work for the sounds to still be there, new sounds to appear, the engine/exhaust is suddenly extremely loud and causes the whole car to vibrate, and a light bulb in one of the headlight casings seems loose. It sounds sick, and runs poorly, whereas it did not before.

My exhaust had broken loose from the chassis. A local mechanic was able to put some clips to hold it but recommended Midas to really look at it to weld it securely to car. I called Midas and was able to easily get an appointment, employee was very courteous. They took the car on time, process was easy and within an hour they called to say they could not repair it the way it should be and that If I wanted them to do it they would have to order a new muffler that had original clamps on it for welding. Or it would have to be fabricated and gave me the name of a local welder. I have an older Benz. They had even called around to see if a new muffler was readily available and it was not. That was extremely nice and the welder they recommended has been very helpful trying to arrange a time for him to look at it. There was no charge! Thank you Pittsburgh and Midas!Service: Exhaust
