These guys are amazing! As a woman, I have a hard time finding a mechanic who is respectful and actually talks to me about the specific issues my car is having. My car had been making a weird noise for weeks and I took it to multiple places, multiple times. They told me it was safe to drive, it was not. I m extremely grateful for Jack and the amazing service he offers! I highly recommend this shop.

My daughter was in Pittsburgh from out of state and her engine died. Jack was extremely helpful in explaining the problem and keeping our costs down. They searched the area for a compatible used engine. We decided to purchase a re-manufactured engine and they were happy to install it for us. Then suggested that we replace the clutch and several other components at the same time with no additional labor charges. The final bill was exactly what they estimated. They even allowed my daughter to purchase the parts online to save cost.Best of all, the stored the car for several months while we decided on the best course of action without pressuring us to get it wrapped up. They offer great, honest and sensitive service. I highly recommend this business.

Car engine went down the beginning of 2023. Called around to many places and felt they were taking advantage. Came across Lifetime Automotive and read the reviews. Called and spoke with Mr. Jack. He searched for an engine that had decent mileage on it for my PT Cruiser. They made sure that everything was running properly. And now my baby has been running smooth ever since. Mr. Jack is very knowledgeable. He and his staff are friendly and professional. Loved the work so much that anytime something happens with the vehicle she's right out to Mr. Jack and his team. Would suggest Lifetime Automotive to everyone!

I was in a tough spot needing an engine replacement from out of state and brought my car here. I had tried two mechanics prior and was prepared to be swindled but Jack was extremely communicative and helpful. The prices were not at all unreasonable and my car is in better shape than ever. Would definitely recommend.

My car over heated. I had it towed to lifetime. They had my car for 6 weeks. As soon as I picked up my car it was still overheating. Took it back he said it was a hose no charge. Great. Yet my truck is still over heating now my radiator busted. They didn't change the coolant sensor. I feel ripped off from $1500.00. I shouldn't have any problem after paying that much. Very upset and disappointed.

Great service! I ve had 3 car inspections there. They didn t try to create things to fix. There s minor issues like burned light bulbs and he told me to being a bulb if I have to put on.Price may not be the best in town, but definitely cheaper than the Pepboys a coupe blocks down the road.

This is a great place. I replaced the right lower control arm and had a wheel alignment service. For the next 2-3 years, the right control arm kept turning me to the right. I did at least 7 wheel alignments and became an expert on everything I knew about wheel alignments. Jack was the man in charge. Hell of a guy. It was a semi emergency disconnected exhaust from cat back. Went over on my lunch break to have it looked it. Was in and out in 15min got the exhaust hooked back up. Easy peasy.Thanks again boss.Service: Exhaust

This business is top notch! I have been taking my vehicle here for a number of years. I get my annual inspections, oil changes, all maintenance and unforeseen issues. Yesterday, I experienced a dead battery and need for a new alternator. After having an issue restarting my car after leaving the shop, I contacted Lifetime and they immediately came to me to charge my battery and see that I safely got my car back to the shop. I was treated like family.Owner and staff are friendly and caring people. I recommend this establishment for your vehicle needs. Great service, caring employees and hard working to get it done! 5 stars all the way,!

My oil change in February was $75 today I got my oil changed thinking it would be the same and was charged $115.93 for an oil change! Felt completely ripped off. I paid it just to get my car back but I really feel like I was taken advantage off.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I took my car here yesterday at 8:00am they told me it would be done after 10 am. They called me at 10:15 am and said it was done. I'm a very picky person and this place did a great job and not an easy one at all. After they did the work it looked like they never even did the work because it was done so well. We all want pro's to our work for us. This place is all that and a bag of chips . I have more work to be done and they are going to do it all. The prices are very fair. I don't recommend anyone anymore because of so much b.s in the world. BUT THIS PLACE I GIVE A 10. YOU MUST GIVE THEM A SHOT. I THANK ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN MAKING ME HAPPY I'M NOT AN EASY PLEASER. AS ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER SAID I'LL BE BACK

Super cold. Woke up to flat tire. AAA puts on spare. Drive to Lifetime and they look at and say lost seal to rim but tire good. They spent about 45 mins re-sealing, putting back on, putting spare back. Went to pay, and they say no charge. Great.

This is my first experience at this place (I m relatively new to the Pittsburgh area and needed to find a reputable mechanic). I chose them based on the fact that they are AAA-affiliated, and based on the very positive reviews I read across multiple sites. I actually had to have my car towed from AAA because the brakes were pretty shot and I didn t feel safe driving it. They were super professional and accommodating; I called them the day before to ask if it was OK to have my car towed there and they said absolutely; took my information down and said it wouldn t be a problem if I wasn t there in-person (as I had to work). I also gave them a call after the tow truck left with my car to give them a heads-up, and they had my information on file and were expecting me. Jack is the man I dealt with primarily, I believe he may be the owner but I can t recall. He s very friendly, honest, and I never got the impression that he was trying to put the hard sell on me. He told me exactly what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done to fix it to make it safe and drivable. My rear brakes and rotors were the problem so I ended up needing new rear brake pads, new rear brake rotors, and rear brake calipers. He also informed me that my front brakes were getting somewhat rusty but that I don t need to replace them now; as long as I get them replaced within 6 months it would be absolutely fine. It wasn t a cheap repair to begin with and adding on the front brakes would ve added another $400-$500 to an already expensive job, so I appreciated the honesty. Overall my car was dropped off on a Wednesday at about 1pm and it was ready Friday afternoon. Brakes are working great and I m very happy with the level of service and professionalism. On a side-note, Jack also fielded a few phone calls from my out-of-state, protective, and car-savvy father (Not calling to be obnoxious, it s just always good to have someone in your corner who actually knows cars). Dad was not able to say enough about how courteous, friendly, and informative Jack is, so this is also a plus. In summary, I will be giving them my repeat business in the future. Great place!

SO happy and grateful for these guys! After a horrible experience with Mr. Tire- Lifetime took me same day (no appointment necessary,) and finished my car THE SAME DAY. It is pretty expensive, but aren t all car shops! They accept triple A discount so that s always nice as well! Jack was very nice and explained to a T what they were going to do with my car & explained the cost as well. I will now use them as my mechanic! So so so happy I found them! THANK YOUService: Brakes

I found this place when I needed work done on a Saturday and they took me in first thing in the morning. I felt like they treated me fairly and have quick, honest service, which is hard to find in the city. I recently had an issue, called the day before, went in the next morning, and they gave me an estimate in about 15 minutes while I waited in the lobby. Their prices are fair, they call before they do any work or make changes, and explain the issues well. Last time I went to pick my car up, it was freezing and snowing, and they cleaned it off and started it for me. Great service and happy to have them!

Took my car here for an inspection and subsequent work needed. Jack and his team are extremely respectful and pleasant to interact with. As a new car owner, Jack was very patient with me, taking time to answer any questions I had and to provide easy to understand explanations. I never felt like he was rushing during any of our phone and in-person conversations. Definitely recommend!Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Tires

I highly recommend this garage!If you're located in and around the Pittsburgh area I couldn't recommend a better garage.Jack is very honest and an excellent mechanic.Lifetime Automotive Center really provides excellent service and is a very trustworthy business. Can't ask for more.

They were fantastic. Their hourly rate for labor is on the pricier side, but they were fast and efficient. I was only driving through Pittsburgh so needed work done (replace wheel bearing) same day or next day. They were able to see me same day to diagnose my problem, ordered the parts I needed, and got my car done by early afternoon the following day. None of the other shops offered to take a look at my car immediately the way they did. They also gave me a quote effortlessly so I knew what to expect.

Jack is wonderful. He's genuine and cares about the welfare of his customers. I recommend him for any work you need done. He keeps it real. He had my car checked and it cost me nothing. Good people, very professional and meticulous.

Tucked away auto shop that offers quick and reliable work. It is not the cheapest place in town but that is for a good reason. The work is done efficiently and correctly. The proprietor, Jack, was friendly and straightforward when it came to what needed done to my car. Would recommend for all your automotive needs.

This is one of the easiest and nicest auto repair places I've ever used. They can always get you in the same day, are honest, get work done quickly, and I've never had to take the car back.Today they looked a car over before I sold it to tell me if it would need anything to be done for inspection when the new owner purchased it. They basically did an inspection, wrote up what they found, and refused to charge me a penny.Highly recommended.

I cannot feasibly more highly recommend this place!! They re a small shop, with excellent customer service. They re cheaper than any other place in Pittsburgh, even other locally owned small shops. Yet their quality of service is top notch.I wasn t sure what sort of services I needed, but I brought my car in and they were able to check it out and give me advice totally free of charge. I never felt pressured or rushed into doing something I wasn t ready to do. I looked into other places to make sure I was getting the best deal, and that was totally unnecessary because Lifetime Automotive already had my back.They re good at what they do, they work quickly, and they make your happiness their priority. I won t bring my car anywhere else!

Whenever you take your car here, when you pick it up you are GOOD. Always ask for Jack. He has a passion for fixing automobiles, its not just business. I mean your getting the same Quality as going to a dealership without the dealership price. I love the 1st. Come 1st. serve. U can schedule appointments. But impatient people such as myself, loves to drop my car off @ night, leave key in key drop off, and 1st. Thing in the morning you get a call telling you everything that's wrong, and how much, and before they close you are back rolling.

I have been taking my cars to them for 10 years. Reasonable with oil changes and other things, have done a few minor fixes (like bulb replacements) for free! I knew they were a trustworthy shop when I asked them to take a look at my ball joint because I'd starting hearing a little noise from it. I was fully expecting to need to replace it, but they told me it didn't need repair yet and to bring it back when it started to get really noisy. I feel like any other shop would have happily replaced that part for me, even though it wasn't broken yet. GOOD GUYS!

RIPPED OFF. It's what we all fear when we need auto repair - unknowingly getting REBUILT parts, then being lied to, and in the end throwing away $1,200 to this untrustworthy business.They installed an A/C compressor in my daughter's Honda. Exactly one month later, it stopped working...in 110-degree Arizona where she was for a summer program. The shop in Phoenix determined that the compressor Lifetime installed was REBUILT and had failed. They talked to Jack Bara (the manager at Lifetime Automotive), and I talked to Jack Bara, and he said he would refund my cost for the compressor ($435) if we would send him the failed one. To quote him: "I will refund your money even if Pep Boys won't give me a refund." My daughter sent it, and I called him several times over the next two months.At first he claimed he was actively working on it (but blamed the stalling on Pep Boys, where he got the part). Then I swear he pretended he was someone else when I called once. After that, no one ever answered the phone when I called. (I left two messages, never returned). Obviously he LIED to me when he said he would refund my money even if he couldn't get his money back from Pep Boys.So, I'm completely out what I paid them, plus the shipping cost of the failed compressor. Horrible, disappointing, expensive experience with Jack Bara and Lifetime Automotive repair. They are completely untrustworthy.Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I got my car inspected here in June and noted a concern with my tires, and they said my tires were fine and my car passed. 3ish months later I get a second opinion at another garage and they say my tires are dryrotting and should not have passed inspection. Then my tires blows out on 376.

Do not go here. You will get screwed on labor costs and lack of transparency. If you go here ask what you will be charged beforehand so you aren't surprised at check out like I was. $70 in labor alone for headlamp and parking light. Parts were standard pricing but labor costs were out of this world. Save your money go some place else. Totally disappointed went there once will never go back.
