It does not get better than this. I have used Laurel Gardens tire Shop for almost 10 years now. At first it was the proximity to my residence, but even after I moved a few years ago, I went back because they have the best people (Ms Tina, Nate, Jay, ) who go above and beyond to provide a great service. They have never let me down. I drive a lot and swap all seasons and winter tires every year and they always come through for me in a timely fashion, despite the fact that I buy my tires online and not from them. I sometimes overhear their quotes to others while waiting and their prices are just as fantastic as their services. Hands down the best tire shop around. Oh, and the prices are also unbeatable. Ask around, you will find out what I know first hand: they are the best

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO MAKING AN APPOINTMENT!!You know those guys who take advantage of the customer who looks like they don't know better? That's these guys. On top of lying to get me into the shop to begin with they charged about 3 times more than the average place. If I would have know that before the work was done I would have 100% not went here. On top of this the people working were somewhat disrespectful giving attitudes when questions were asked, and this is after they finally decided to stop ignoring me while they were busy playing monopoly go on their phone.Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

An owner with zero accountability and horrific customer service. The front desk folks were delightful and some of the kindest individuals around. However the owner is beyond rude to his customers the second he thinks his wallet is on the line.I had an issue following my tire replacement where my car was suddenly VERY misaligned. This turned out to be an existing mechanical issue which lended itself to being misaligned more easily. Fair enough and after discovering it, I was happy to get the car repaired and aligned. However, until discovering the mechanical issue I had no idea what was wrong. All I knew was the car drove fine coming in and when I got my tires put on the car suddenly was crab walking down the road. Given the obvious I thought something went wrong during the tire service, so I brought the car back after driving one mile to test it out and be sure it wasn t just releasing agent wearing off or something else normal. When getting back to the tire shop, the owner s son was super courteous and helpful. Saying something akin to that doesn t look right, oh yeah let s get this back in to help you out and see what s going on. We can talk to the boss man . At this point I m thinking wow what fantastic service, he was kind respectful and open minded to finding out what happened. That is until I was handed off to the owner Tom.The front desk guy who brought me over to Tom simply opened with hey boss we have a bit of a problem here . To which Tom s instinct was to immediately attack my character and accuse me of trying to defraud him and the company. He started telling to his son within ear shot of me well do we still have his tires, tell him he can have his tires back and tell him to get the hell out of my business to which I overheard and was immediately offended and tried to have a civil conversation and explain what I ve described above. My car drove fine coming in and it all of a sudden is misaligned and driving sideways. I was in no way at this point in the conversation trying to lay blame on anyone. I was simply trying to understand what happened and ask the experts who change tires all the time for some advice and help so I can safely drive my vehicle home.Tom, the owner. He did not give me an ounce of credit, no benefit of the doubt, etc. He immediately started yelling at me, was close minded when I explained my car drove fine coming in. He kept cutting me off and just saying how can you prove that you re not just saying that . Meanwhile I had just spent over $900 on tires, asked for recommendations on alignments and was actually planning on coming back to spend about another thousand dollars to get my girlfriends SUV s tires replaced in the spring. Tom just kept saying not my problem and never heard me out. His mind was made up from the moment his son said hey boss, we have a problem . After confronting him on how aggravated and nasty he was being. He proceeded to flaunt how nice of a guy he was with every customer walking by us as we talked. Then he would turn to me and say see, I m nice to my customers . Meanwhile I learned all I needed to learn about Tom s character and how he runs his business in the first 5 minutes of interacting with him.I haven t experienced an individual so rude, so nasty in my life. Someone so unaccountable for their own actions and so quick to accuse and dismiss those around them.Tom withstanding, I can t emphasize how nice his family was at the front desk. Before this interaction I really believed I d found a fantastic, honest, family owned business that I could see being my one stop shop for tires for my family for years to come. However, after my experience with Tom the owner of this business. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy and I wish the rest of his team all the best.

Excellent! Family owned local business. Tom and staff understand customer service. Called and spoke with Tom to check availability of a specific tire. He didn t try to up-sell me or question my decision. Called back later in afternoon and ordered the tires for next morning install. Tires arrived by 8. Install was quick ( ~ 1 hr) despite the place being slammed. Checked wheels and lug nuts for damage post install and everything looked good! Didn t check if nuts were torqued to spec but will report back if any issues once I do.Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3 (265/70 16) on 13 Tacoma.Great price and Excellent service.

The gentleman are great here! They are very busy business and yes you're going to have to wait for their service. But time flies there. 3 hours went by didn't even feel like that with the Good vibes that are in house. This is the only place I will get my tires from.

Great service! They misplaced one of my tires and took care of it as soon as I called. Mistakes happen, but how the mistakes are handled is most important to me. Great job.

They talked me into used Cooper tires four months ago with a lot of tread on them for $182. Since then I have put almost 1,000 miles on the vehicle and three different times we had to take it back to the shop to be resealed. They have informed us that Cooper is known to leak at the rim and I was offered $100 off a new set of tires to replace them. The owner Tom is combative at times when confronted. We have been inconvenienced repeatedly by this issue and it still is unresolved. Why did they sell me a defective product in the first place. I have decided to go elsewhere for my tires and would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Just wanted the flat fixed, but instead mounted a new tire on the vehicle. They took off the new tire and repaired the flat and mounted it on the vehicle. They told me that it was no problem. Highly recommend.

Tom and Tina are great people. Service is excellent. Prices are fair. Office is clean. I had my dog with me and Tom said she could come in to waiting room. Not many businesses are that customer friendly. Highly recommend Laurel Gardens Tire.

Everyone is very friendly, always have goodies for the kids to keep them happy and quite! They are almost always done within half hour at the most. Prices are great! Also I didn't have a warranty on my tires and one pop because of a pot hole and I only had the tires a month. I went back and they said they would give me the tire at cost which was really nice of them to do. Definitely try this place, you'll love it!

I would rate them higher than 5 stars if I could! I was traveling and experienced an issue with our tires. I found their contact info and called them. From my first contact to my last contact I was treated like I was family. The owner himself went out of his way to help us and locate a hard to find set of tires for our truck. Customer service is outstanding at Laurel Gardens Tire. If you live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh there is no better place to get tire service! Thank You Tom for all of your help! God bless you and your business!

I just got my winter wheels installed here. What great service from everyone involved. Tom's a great guy, genuinely listened to what I asked for, and didn't try to upsell or rip me off. It was my first time at Laurel Gardens Tire, but it seemed like they knew all of their customers. Just about everyone that walked in was greeted by name. The only drawback is they don't take reservations. It's first come first served, so you might need to wait a while. It was about a 2 hour wait for me, but the waiting area is clean and relatively comfortable. I was easily able to get some work done while waiting.

Great experience with these guys. I had originally gotten my tires from Discount Tire on 65. After about 2 years and 10 thousand miles (I don't drive a ton) I kept having to get air in one of my 4 tires. I took it to Discount with ultimately no resolution. I went to Laurel and everyone was very friendly. They explained everything before they did it and showed me what they were doing and why. They also told me the cost before starting the work. I highly recommend these guys.

I have always recommended them for tire service. They usually have the best prices around, everyone is friendly, and they do good work. I recently purchased new rims for my truck and already had tires. I called around to a few places for estimates and got estimates $50-$85 for only mounting and balancing tires, not installation, no sensors. When I called, I received a price of $5 per tire. It seemed a little bit too good to be true, but I went anyway. I had the tires mounted and balanced and I went to get the bill and the bill was $128.70! I told them that I called and I got a price of $5 per tire, and their response was that I had "custom" rims and they have to give a little bit more care to them. I mentioned when I called for the estimate I had aluminum rims. I wouldn't have minded paying a little bit more than $5 per tire, but that was ridiculous. I will give them credit in the fact that certain rims can require more care than others, but the price difference shouldn't be that high. JUST BEWARE AND KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE PAYING BEFORE THE WORK IS STARTED, EVEN IF YOU GET A PRICE ON THE PHONE, DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE THE WORK IS STARTED!

First time using laurel through tire rack for my gt350. Extremely low install price which is a plus. Fairly long wait time on a Friday; a bit over an hour. Staff seemed very nice although not "car people" when giving specific instructions (Ie vehicle wheel torque spec).Seemingly no one comfortable driving a stick shift there. Tech revved car up pretty high like he was launching it to back up. Pretty jerky clutch engagement like a new learner although fairly minor. Luckily cars only have to move a short distance and seemingly no issues caused other than some onlooker anxiety. Two rear tires installed. No visible damage to 19in rims which is a plus. They have a good tire machine at this shop.Tires were installed with a 3 psi difference between the left and right. Kinda sketchy on a 500hp+ car and glad I caught it before heating tires up or taking any corners .Overall would reccomend this place for normal vehicles. Double check the work on anything out of normal and it's likely fine. Mission of mounting the MPSS tires was successful at least.

I've been using these guys for years and have never been disappointed. They are honest and helpful. Their prices on mounting and balancing are the lowest I've found. If the service you receive isn't what you expected, just speak with them and they'll make it right. You can even order tires to their location from online retailers and have them install them. I highly recommend using this business.

First let me say that I used to think highly of this shop, mostly because of my interactions with Tom. He's a solid business owner and understands customers come first. I think differently of some of his staff (Dan). I'm sure reading this is no surprise to Tom. I spent $1200 on four tires and when speaking with Tina I asked for what is called the "knives edge" sidewall to be facing outward. This particular tire has two different sidewall options. They originally installed them with with "mountain" sidewall facing outward and I politely said that they installed them incorrectly. Tom had the guys pull it back into the garage to correct the error. This is where the experience went down hill. I went back inside and sat in the waiting area. I had previously been walking around, being a NH alum, doing some old sightseeing. Dan came back into the office and he and Tina continued to have a conversation about me, not knowing I was there, and this somehow turned into a debate on what side looked more aggressive on the tire and not about what I as the customer requested. The fact that they were talking about me in general was totally shocking considering how small the waiting area is for customers. I repeated that that was not what I requested and Dan was rude, as if I inconvenienced them and didn't know what I was talking about. Tom tried to diffuse the situation but this is a direct reflection on his shop. I stepped outside and was approached by an installer and told yet again they put what they thought was the aggressive side out. This is NOT what I requested when speaking with Tina. I asked for the "knives edge" to face outward. I'm not sure where communication broke down, I suspect on the order form but you should never talk about customers when you have customers on the floor, let alone the actual customer, or make a customer feel like they don't know what they are talking about. In the end, you lost a customer who spends $1000 every time he needs tires and any referrals. BTW...I somehow magically lost my valve core on my spare tire that you all put into the back of my jeep. Hmmm....wouldn't be surprised if this was Dan.

When I first moved to Pittsburgh the owner opened his doors to me and gave me a job right off the bat. He's a small town man living in a big city. He's always quick to help out a customer. Prices are pretty good. The quality of work is top notch.

Tom and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They not only quickly repaired my light duty truck tire today, but without even being asked the technician reset the automated tire pressure system warning that had been wrongly activated when my tires were rotated a few months ago. Very good price for excellent service!

Talked to me like a human being, not a "clueless girl." Listened intently when I told them what kind of conditions I drive in & how much I drive. Friendly, tried to save me money, & they have a clean well-lit waiting room. More important, they were fast. They also have a "rotate your tires for free" policy, very nice. Definitely plan to go back there for future tires & plan to recommend them.
