The most positive and helpful experience I have had with auto mechanics. I called three other mechanics and KG's quote was the most fair pricing I could find. Dustin fixed an issue with my exhaust pipe and brakes and explained what he was doing so that I could understand and answered all my questions. They also suggested other repairs that I could consider, but were open and honest about the urgency of them and were not pushy. They were also flexible about my schedule which was greatly appreciated. Good group of guys, I can't recommend them enough. I will be going back for any future repairs.

An honest mechanic shop does exist! Highly recommend this shop for their fair pricing, beyond exceptional customer service, excellent communication, professionalism, honesty, and the list goes on.I ve used KG Autoworks twice over the past several years. Great experience both times. Most recently, Alex went above and beyond to fit me in for service the same day when I was on a time crunch to leave town. I was blown away by his kindness and service.I ll continue to use and recommend them for all of my future vehicle service needs!

Very helpful mechanics, good group of guys. I had a complicated situation, they were the third shop I took my car into and the only ones willing to investigate. One place charged me just for poking around but not fixing it, these guys are not like that. They were open and honest about costs, not pushy, and as dedicated as I wanted them to be in solving the problem. They were not making attempts to overcharge me, on the contrary, they continuously went above and beyond. I found them to be respectful, providing me as much information as I wanted to know and visually showing me more complicated concepts. Also, when I brought my boyfriend in, they didn't do what many mechanics would do and just talk to him. They continued to communicate with me and included him in the convo. Nicely done, gents. I do recommend them and would go back (hopefully, I won't need to).

I could not ask for a better service job. No one else would help me get my car from Cleveland parked in a Pittsburgh garage out to this repair shop. They recommended Kendall Towing who quickly towed it to this shop. They inspected and fixed it with lightning speed. Just a few hours and out! Extra stars for your kindness too!!

The transmission in my Honda Fit went bad. These folks found me a transmission and installed it for a very reasonable price. My car now runs better than it has in awhile.

The absolute best in Pittsburgh. Alex and Dustin are reliable, knowledgable, and amazing to work with. They are both able to easily articulate the various issues I've had with my car in a way I can understand, and then provide the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. They charge a fair price for amazing work and customer service. If anyone asks for good mechanics in the Pittsburgh area, I always direct them to KG Autoworks.

The guys here are great to deal with. They listen to what you're trying to resolve and take the appropriate steps to get you there. We have 3 cars and they do what's appropriate given the expected remaining lifespan of the car, finding deals on parts for our oldest car and using higher quality warranted items when that makes more sense.

Just got back from getting my rear brakes changed. The mechanics were very friendly, worked quickly, and the repair was done at a reasonable price. I called the day before and they got me an appointment for the next day which was super great. I will surely be going back.

Got my inspection done here several months ago and was pleased with the service. Repeat customer today when my A/C was shot and they fixed it same day at a fair price. I brought my car here for a possible repair. They were able to look at my car within an hour and called me back to give me multiple options for both replacement and repair, even though they weren t able to do the repair themselves and it would mean losing the business, and recommended me a place that could do it. They were extremely friendly and easy going and I will definitely go back for any future repairs.

Dustin and Alex are some of the most knowledgeable, honest and accommodating mechanics in town. Once they touch your car, there is no going back. I would recommend them for state inspection or any repair big or small. They're also super nice guys, which is always a plus. I've never felt intimidated to ask questions and they don't talk down to people. Alex and Dustin are as honest as they come and I can always trust them to give me an accurate diagnosis and a fair price for repairs. They make it easy to understand what's wrong with my car and what repairs will be needed, and they stand behind their work and their customer service is second to none. They work with me on pickup/drop off hours and make sure that I'm 100% satisfied with their work before taking my car home. I recommend them to anyone in need of good mechanics and will continue to be a loyal customer.

KG is a nice shop on West Liberty.. It is right in the middle of a major business district with many dozens of car dealerships. It is a friendly well organized business with great parking..Great mechanics. I have used KG for about 2 years. They have fixed every type of problem imaginable.. They work fast and are very reasonably priced.. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had to go to Pittsburgh for a competition and my car broke down on a friday night I had it towed to them and it turns out that they actually are bot open on Saturday and we had to leave that day. Do you know what these Angel's did, they came in on their day off , looked at and fixed the main issue with the car and another issue we dudnt know it was having. Again I say om their day off, then when If im.honest I would have paid a big service fee for all this , these guys charged me such an amazingly fair price. To say I recommend them.is an understatement, I wish all the good things on these guys!!!!Service: Transmission

Absolute excellence! These gentleman conduct business as it should be conducted. Thorough diagnostics, and more than reasonable pricing. My vehicle is my business, therefore trust is a major factor in choosing a mechanic to work on my vehicle. These gentleman made me feel confident in there abilities, and gave me a straight forward answer to what they felt the issue was. When going to a mechanic, you can easily feel that your being ripped off. You will not get that vibe dealing with KG Autoworks. I will return to this business in the event that future repairs are necessary.

I had my 1996 Mazda Miata towed to KG Autoworks because it wouldn't start and kept shutting off while I was driving. The guys at KG went through every possible reason why it wasn't running and went to great lengths to make sure my car was safe, running and inspected for me. They even had to find me a discontinued computer. They were fair priced and constantly kept me in the loop on what was happening. After owning 30+ cars And having some terrible mechanic experiences and I m very picky who I take my cars too, I ve had the guys at KG work on everything from a cheap ecosport to a 95k audi RS5. They will get the job done for the best price and with top notch quality. They also do a great job with accommodating busy schedules and make pick up and drop offs a breeze. If you are looking for a reliable mechanic with the best prices and work in the Pittsburgh area look no further. Thanks again for all the hard work guys.

I started doing some of my own car work when a previous mechanic quoted parts and labor beyond what was worth investing in the car.Being semi familiar with car parts and car mechanics now, it has helped me choose where I will take my car.These guys are fair, they tell you what is wrong in a timely manner with a quote, and suggest appropriate/reasonable work for the state of the car. They used to be located in my neighborhood however, I will continue to take my car here .

Exceptional customer service and quality work.I was helping my sister purchase a car via Craigslist in Millvale about a month ago. Because of the deal the transaction was moving fast so we didn't have time to take the car to my personal mechanic (the highly recommended Penn Automotive) so we test drove the car to KG Autoworks in desperation. Since it was already five in the evening we had little hope they'd take us.The two mechanics were closing up shop for the day but, in spite of that, they let us drive the car in with a smile when we explained our predicament. We sat in the waiting room, which was pleasant enough, while they put up the car and gave a rather thorough inspection. Turns out the car had an issue with the front driver's side wheel bearing. The mechanic explained to us in plain English that he felt the car, for the price, was a great find in spite of this issue, gave us the price to fix it if we purchased it (reasonable), and gave my sister some "first car" advice.In the end they REFUSED to accept payment for the inspection and advice. We even tried to give the cash in an aside to the younger mechanic who also politely refused. My sister ended up purchasing the car and has since taken the vehicle to KG to get the bearing fixed. My grandfather was a mechanic in Bridgeville till the day he passed so finding a quality garage is a meaningful pursuit in our family. In spite of the relative inconvenience (she currently lives in the South Hills) my sister has found her own trusted mechanic.It's not relevant to the quality of their work nor am I one to judge but I have it on good authority that the mechanics are also quite attractive. My mother and sister refer to KG as the "Hot Mechanics."

Came in to get my oil changed on my Mercedes-Benz, KG Autoworks was incredibly professional and had me on my way in no time. I couldn t recommend them more!
