I can't say enough good things about Kaercher. We've been taking our cars here for a couple of years now and they are honest, have great attention to detail, and excellent customer service. You won't find a better, more trust-worthy mechanic in the Pittsburgh area.

Great family owned business. Very fair prices and take their time to explain what needs to be done with your vehicle as well as their recommendations. My dad always bought our vehicles here when I was growing up and now my husband and I do. I recommend Kaercher to our friends all the time!

The entire team at Kaercher Automotive was extremely friendly and helpful! The mechanic, Brandon, walked me through the repairs that were to be done and was informative each step of the way. Pricing was extremely fair and transparent and now my car is driving like new. I moved to the area a few years ago and I was struggling to find a good honest automotive shop. In a previous life I used to work in the field so I have a pretty good read on people trying to BS me. I tried 4 other shops and was very disappointed. I tried these guys and have been using them for almost 2 years. I am extremely satisfied and recommend them all the time.

My father and mother both took their cars there for years, and we have been taking our cars there for years now also.They are honest, caring, and go above and beyond to take care of you. Brandon, Tom, and Susan treat you as family. Will never take our cars anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I really like this place. It's an honest, family-run business that gives you good service at a good price. I've been taking my car here for the past couple of years and generally avoid going elsewhere unless the service I need is really urgent (the lead time for appointments is typically a couple of weeks...they always seem to be busy).Services: Tires, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Great, honest, fairly priced local shop. Mechanics explained everything clearly, gave sound advice, estimated remaining life on wear parts, and threw in a free tire rotation. No complaints - I'll definitely be back the next time my car needs repairs or maintenance that I can't do myself.Keep in mind that for scheduled appointments, you may have to book a week or more in advance as they seemed to be fairly busy, but I view that as a sign that the place has plenty of loyal customers - a testament to the quality of the shop.

Great family run place. I've been taking my cars there for 20 years! When I go to another place to buy tires, seat covers, etc., the mechanics always comment on how this is one of the last great mechanic places in Pittsburgh - people who really know cars and don't just read numbers off a computer diagnostic - very fair pricing and honest.

We have been taking our cars to Kaercher Automotive for many years and have never had a complaint. They provide friendly, honest service, are always willing to answer you questions and endeavor to save you money wherever they can. For example, this past June, we brought my Mazda 5 and my Wife's Pontiac Grand Prix in for inspection. Both cars were getting up in age. To pass inspection, my Mazda needed new breaks and a new tie rod. My wife's car needed some minor repairs but also had some serious rust problems on the underside of the car. Before they repaired anything on her car, they phoned me to let me know about her car's problems, specifically the rust issue. They said that the minor repairs would run about $400-$500, but the biggest problem was the rust. They could not fix it, but suggested a couple of body shops that they work with. They advised us, however, that the cost of repairing the rust would run about $2000. Rather than recommend that we fix the rust and other problems, they suggested that we consider getting a new car, which we did. Their recommendation meant that they did not get the $400-$500 for the small repairs and, having a new car with a warranty, they have one less car to work on for the foreseeable future. We love Kaercher Automotive and will continue to take our other car there and will certainly return with the new car once the warranty runs out.

I tried to give these guys my business on multiple occasions and found them to be somewhat rude and seemingly disinterested in having me as a customer. The first time, I pulled in to ask if they could fit me in for a minor repair to pass inspection and the woman working made me wait 5 minutes without acknowledging me while she finished up a conversation with a friend. Without even glancing at a schedule, she told me it would be 2-3 months before they could get me in. The second time, I needed the ball joints inspected on my work van and called them. The mechanic later returned my call to tell me they can't do that kind of work. If you're not taking on new business, just say so, but don't be passive aggressive and assume your potential customers are idiots who don't know anything about cars.

Very impressed with the service. Was taking my car elsewhere previously and they charged me a lot of money and never fixed the issues. Tom fixed an issue my car had been having for years. Very thorough and reasonable. My car has been running great ever since.

I have taken my cars to Kaercher's for at least 30 years, as have most of my family members. This long term loyalty speaks volumes about the work they do. I have recommended them to a number of friends - they aren't the cheapest garage in the area, but when they do the work, it is done properly and in a timely fashion. You never have to worry about taking the car back the next day to have the "repair" repaired. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

Terrific customer service, honest pricing and fast work. I usually get schemes from shop mechanics but here, everything is in black and white for you. I've never had any issues taking my car here.

We have been coming to Kaercher's for the last 2 years. I am very happy with him because his prices are reasonable, work is competent, and, from what I can tell, he is honest. I also like to support local family businesses when I can.

True family owned and operated. As long as you treat them with respect they will treat you as family. I wont go to anyone different as long as ill live here. Always work with us and ALWAYS get the job done the RIGHT way the FIRST time.

Not sure how they do it but my car feels brand new after every inspection. Drives better, breaks feel like new, even the turning feels tighter after the last time. Great people. Fantastic business.

Great local mechanic. Provides thorough explanations and every option available as well as pricing. Also provides recommendations for future work that may be needed down the road. Very satisfied with the quality of work and the customer service.
