Have had a good experience with this shop and have made it my go-to for my mid-2000s Volvo. Dealerships are generally pretty awful and other shops tend to have less experience with Volvos.On the whole, services seem to be priced fairly, with some above average and some below, but I m happy to pay what it takes for consistently good service.

I've taken my Volvo to Jim several times now, and he always does good work at a fair cost and in a timely manner. Always explains things well too. Highly recommend his shop, especially if you own a Volvo. Jim's shop is quality. Work (timing belt, coil packs, spark plugs, axle ping) was completed on my 07 Volvo S60R in a professional manner with integrity. He had the opportunity to have me spend considerably more money than I needed to - I thought my brakes needed to be done. After checking, he confirmed it was just some oxidation build-up and the brakes were fine. His work was completed in a timely manner and he called me multiple times to update me on the progress of the work. I would absolutely recommend this shop, especially for your Volvo.

Jim is amazing! I called to make an appointment and he got me in the same day, I called rigut before my appointment saying I unfortunately wouldn t make it as I locked my keys in my car and was waiting for help. He said no problem, we ll see you when you get here. Showed up late to my appointment, saw me anyway, and diagnosed my cars problem within minutes. Very nice and personable man. I absolutely will be back to see him! Thank you Jim!

Jim was recommended to me as a Volvo specialist for a repair I needed and I'm so grateful to have 'found' him. Jim was so thorough about explaining the job and communicated everything each step of the way. He even showed me the part and explained an unexpected issue that came up during the repair. Despite that, he finished slightly ahead of what he initially estimated. It's never fun to dump a ton of money into your car unexpectedly but it's nice to have confidence the work was done well and by someone so nice and thorough. Thank you!

By far the best volvo mechanic in Pittsburgh. Jim walked me through the issues and repaired my engine where there dealership could or would not! 2004 Volvo S60 156K. He also got my AC and heater to blow again! Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Brought my 2014 S60 here for inspection and service after purchasing it out of state. He looked it over thoroughly and serviced it per factory standards without any issues. He also informed me of the service intervals and requirements from the factory. He knows his Volvos! I'll be bringing it here for all its needs.

Jim is WONDERFUL! He has kept my 12 year old Volvo on the road with expert service and reasonable prices (as opposed the hazing I was taking from the dealer). This is my "go to" shop and always will be!

I'm the second if now three generations who have been going here for years. His work is superb. I recommend that if you're looking for a great mechanic who won't take you to the cleaners, then please try this place. You won't be disappointed.
