I scheduled an appointment online for their tire services consult because my tire pressure light came. They called the same day as the appointment to confirm & get a few more details. I stopped by afterwork and waited while they checked my tires & fixed the one that had the leak. They are quick, efficient, & have great communication about costs. Pat who was my first interaction upon entering the lobby was friendly & informative. Based off of this experience, I would return to this location, which is also convenient if you work downtown.

I took my car to Goodyear yesterday for Pennsylvania state inspection and couldn't have had a better experience. The service, professionalism, and welcoming, friendly atmosphere is absolutely top-notch. I'm happy to recommend Goodyear wholeheartedly. I'm only giving 5 stars because the powers that be won't let me give 10!

Have come here a few times for service but was very disappointed in my last experience.I booked an appointment to get my annual state inspection 2 weeks ago, and when I arrive, my appointment is nowhere to be found in their system. I pulled up my confirmation email to show I did in fact have a reservation. They told me I was nowhere to be found, but would still take me if I could leave the car for a few hours.From there, one of their guys calls me and tells me 2 of my tires fail inspection, and the other 2 were close and barely passed. They recommended I buy 4 new tires and get an alignment for over $850 I knew for a fact one of those tires was not that old as I just had a flat repaired about 2-3 months prior at this exact Goodyear location. The other was maybe a year old, so I knew he was trying to take make a quick buck off me. After everything was mishandled with the reservation, I didn t appreciate them then trying to sell me on almost $1,000 worth of repairs that I just didn t need.Once I picked up my car, about 5 minutes into the drive, my low pressure tire light came on. This was after I JUST dropped $500 to replace those 2 new tires. The LEAST they could do was put the proper amount of air in them!These guys are not thorough, organized, nor apparently care. I will definitely be looking for a different shop the next time I need services.

First time here and Staff was friendly. I love the location. Easy walk for my husband and I for lunch date downtown while we dropped off our car for an oil change. Don't know why I haven't thought about coming here before. Definitely will come back for future oil changes.

The oil change I got was on the pricey side, but alas, that s what comes with driving an SUV with i big engine. The service was great my issue comes with their hours of operation. It s inexcusable to not be open at all, whatsoever, on the weekends. From what I can tell this is the only Goodyear location to not even have limited Saturday hours. I work strange hours and had no way of getting over there before 6 on a Friday (I arrived at 605). Now I m gonna lose my job because I don t have a car for the next 2-3 days. I m down with Sunday s being closed, that s commonplace, but Saturday? Not even limited hours? The service could be the best in the city but if you have to leave your car on their lot for 4 days for no reason it s frustrating and impossible to recommend. And what s even more frustrating is it s the only one to do this, no other location is closed for Saturday s.

Limped my car to them because I had a hit a pothole and cracked my wheel. Just to get it there I had to stop twice during rush hour traffic at the side of the road in the rain to put air into it because it was leaking so fast. I asked could they repair it and I even had a Rim Patch repair kit because I had cracked one of my other wheels prior. The guy threw his hands in the air and loudly says "OH No... and can't even touch it! We're a corporate store aren't even allowed to work on it." What in the world does that even mean? Needless to say I had to pump my tire up in the rain again but was lucky enough to make it to Wheel Connection in Warrendale where my wheel was patched perfectly getting me back on the road.

This repair shop is run like an old fashion local garage. What a welcome difference to meet honest manager who calls you by name and explains what needed fixed now vs later. No bait&switch here.I will be back again next time I need tires or any repairs.And convenient location for downtown workers!!!!!

I got 4 tires from them, all 215s, but after about a year of driving, I was putting chains on in the mountains and realized they gave me 2 215s and 2 245s. Been driving around on lopsided tires for a year, double check that they give you the right tires if you go here!

Out of all the shops I ve been to, this was by far the best experience I ve had while getting an inspection done. The two gentleman that assisted me were kind and respectful. As a young woman I don t often get that kind of respect especially when dealing with cars.The actual inspection took about an hour and a half. The waiting area was comfortable. I highly recommend this location.

Harry was outstanding in the customer service he provided me at store 1068. He had my flat tire fixed and installed on my car within an hour of drop off and at a fair price. Kudos to he and his team. Rest assured fortune business will be directed his way!

We were in Pittsburgh staying downtown when our oil light came on. Not wanting to travel 10 hrs home with a possible problem, we reached out to you and spoke to Pat. After explaining our situation, Pat told us to drop the car off and they would do everything they could to service our vehicle. Pat even told us where we could get a fantastic breakfast in the District. We wish to thank Pat and the team at the downtown Pittsburgh Goodyear for your excellent service. We drove home without a worry.

I got an oil change service yesterday, I totally satisfied with the service. Especially, Mechanic Mr. Jaeyoon, his attitude was awesome. I strongly recommend to visit and fix your car at here.

I've taken my car to get serviced here a couple times and every time I receive amazing customer service and high quality work on my vehicle. I've found the prices have been affordable and honest. I would definitely recommend this Goodyear to everyone and will continue to have my car serviced here.

I was charged over $100 for checking a squeaking noise from my car. After dropping off my car, I got a phone call on the same day telling me the brake seems fine and there might be something wrong with the transmission. That's it - no repair, no written reports were provided. I was promised to get an email explaining the details the next day, but nothing came.Also, none of the online discounts (ex. oil change) was applied to my final bill. Make sure to check your bill carefully before paying.Follow up -I wen to another auto store, they checked my car, fixed the problem (rusty issue, nothing to do with the transmission!), and returned the car to me in 1 day. The total charge is only $130.

Appointment was east to schedule and the got my car in much faster than other places. Appreciated that they called me and went over all prices and options before any repairs took place. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

Updated review 2021: so this was the third year I took my car for inspection here and could not be happier! Very convenient if you work or live in downtown area; I just dropped the car off on the morning and picked it up after work.Friendly staff, efficient service, and fair price.Quick advice: I do not suggest waiting there for your car to be ready even though their online scheduling system gives you the option. Inspection takes some time.I will be back every year :)Original review 2019:The review is mostly about the wait time. I was happy with the inspection service (cost $80 for safety and emission and I passed but I should say my car is only a year old). However, when I book an appointment online I chose the option that I'll be waiting for my car and it gave me an estimation of one hour wait time. Drop off the car about 10:15 am, the guy there told me it takes at least 3 hours and so I left, received the car from them at 4 pm that car is ready.Bottom line: Assume you don't have the car for a full day. I am new to PA, and maybe it's a Pittsburgh thing. What is the purpose of making the appointment then if they keep the car all day??

Just moved here from out of state and needed an oil change and tire rotation. I called to make an appointment and my boyfriend brought my car in for me at 8 AM. They told him that it was going to take an hour and a half - at 8 AM WITH an appointment. When he asked why he was told it was because they also needed to do a full inspection. Fine. When he goes back to pick up my car, they charged over $100, and when he asked about the results of their inspection - the employee seemed clueless and said everything was "fine" although there was no invoice stating that an inspection was even done. For my first experience in a new state, it was very disappointing, and I will not be back.

Outstanding service at Goodyear in Pittsburgh. My car started having issues in the middle of a cross-country drive and the team at Goodyear took great care of me to get me back on the road extremely quickly (only 2-3 hours to investigate and repair and I did not have an appointment). Car was back up and running as good as new and at a reasonable price. The team was very helpful and put an extra technician on my car to make the fix quickly. Very grateful for the excellent team at Goodyear and would highly recommend this location.

Came in for my state inspection. Was quoted an hour and a half. My my car needed work done, and I was out in 2 hours. Not bad. The guy at the front was the sweetest person ever and the tech was able to explain exactly what was recommended and why it was recommended. I d come back.

Scheduled an appointment because one of my tires was slowly leaking. Service was extremely quick with me spending less than an hour there. The repair to my tire was also free, highly recommend this goodyear, they'll treat you right!

Goodyear couldn t be more helpful in getting my car new tires. Every employee was kind and didn t have to wait around too long to have my car finished. There manager, Doug, was unbelievably kind and acknowledged everything I needed. Highly recommend coming here for all your car needs as you will get the greatest service possible.

These guys are lifesavers. Driving 10 hours to college, my car blew a belt that would have taken days to fix anywhere else. They were swamped but still fit us in and got it fixed in well under a day. They went above and beyond, telling us where to eat and where we could stay. My car is driving perfectly now. Don t take your car anywhere else.

Be careful. I was very fortunate to literally roll by this location as my brand new, 3 week old tire was leaking air from a nail in the tread. I was grateful that they were able to accommodate me same day. Immediately, I was told that my Goodyear tire roadside hazard warranty would not be honored as I purchased my tires elsewhere - though I knew this was not the case. After a quick phone call with Goodyear I had a claim filed and everything paid for. Service was quick, but service providers told me I needed 2 front headlights and a rear headlight replaced. I asked them to hold off and when I inspected the car myself, every single light was fully functional. I m grateful for the efficient service, but make sure that if you bring your car here you have an understanding of exactly what needs done, why it needs done, and what it should cost you.

This group was phenomenal. I went in for a state inspection. I still had the temporary sticker on my vehicle and had just recently received my permanent registration and license plate which were sitting on my passenger seat.They did the inspection quickly and when I returned they had put my permanent plate on for me and I didn't even have to ask them to do it.During the inspection, my windshield wipers failed (which was absolutely to be expected based on the performance of my windshield wipers at the time lol)When the representative called to tell me I mentioned to him that I had been nervous about a vibration that I had been feeling as well. Despite the fact that they had already finished the inspection, he went and took another look just to assure me.The price was less than I had expected as well.

My front tire was losing air slowly but we didn t know why. We called and immediately got an appointment since we wanted to leave that day for a long car trip. They checked out the tire (which had a screw embedded in the tred!), patched it for free, and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. Doug helped us through the process and was very nice and understanding. Recommend!

This location is very convenient if you work downtown. Everyone who works there is amazing, professional and honest. I've taken my jeep here for years as well as all of my previous cars and never once had any problems or questioned anything. Highly recommend.

Pat and the team were amazing! They did a thorough analysis of my car, made suggestions that saved me quite a bit of money and had the car in and out in record time. I will definitely be back to see you when I m in Pittsburgh next time! Thank you, Pat!

Amazing service!! I went in with no appointment because my tire had a hole in it and they immediately helped me and I was out in less than 30 minutes! Thank you so much!! I think Douglas is the employee who helped me, he was great. Definitely will be coming back
