2 hours away from home got a flat tire on a AMG 63 Mercedes, Mercedes roadside is a joke and useless ! I decided to contact a local company with a flatbed to haul this high line car back home. The service was excellent, the driver was extremely responsive and was very careful with loading the car. The experience of being stuck was not pleasant but this company could not have been more attentive and professional.Service: Special vehicle towing

Great experience -- I had an unexpected need for a tow, and the receptionist quickly alerted Dennis to my location, where he promptly took my care and I home. Very friendly, great conversation on the ride home -- I absolutely recommend this company!

Called around for a few different companies for a tow maybe a half mile away. Was getting a lot of very high quotes. I called and it was a great price. He was also in the area already. From the time I called until the time it was dropped off at the mechanic was maybe 30 minutes. Great service. Will call again. And would recommend.

Dispatch was very polite but when I needed my car towed they gave me the run-around for a full day. My car wasn't picked up until 25 hours after my initial call when they said it would be about 2 hours and one of their "contracted" tow guys tried to raise the price on me by $100 from the quoted rate. They expressed remorse about the poor job they did but still has no problem charging $175 for a 7.5 mile tow

I had a very troubling experience. While moving my car on my parking pad, the car accelerated and went down the side of my house and wedged between the house and a tree. Dennis from Golden Hook came in a short amount of time and worked tirelessly to move the car from where it was wedged back to the parking pad. His calmness and assurances helped settle my nerves. He was able to extricate the car from the back of the house and return it to the parking pad without causing any damage to the house or any additional damage to the vehicle that I had caused. I would definitely recommend Golden Hook and Dennis.

Our car broke down in a construction area where a southbound lane was actually part of what is normally northbound traffic. That made it hard to explain where the car was. Another company talk to me like I was incompetent because I'm female, and told me to "call my husband", but Golden Hook was perfect, professional, and helpful through the entire process. They kept me up to date throughout the process. The driver messaged me to confirm the car was still there and could be towed without issue. (It was locked and we were not with the car at the time.) I could not be happier with the service, and they had my car towed to the shop within an hour and a half of my initial call.

dennis!! the most kickass kind hearted tow guy this side of the mississippi. even though i didn t end up needing him to tow my car, he still worked with me and was very helpful and patient while giving me options to try and help my situation. i would recommend him to anyone who needed his car towing expertise

The assistant and the driver were very polite and friendly from the call to the drop off. They tried their best to fix the problem before deciding that they had to tow my car. I didn't have to wait 3 hours like the last time I called triple A. If I am ever stuck in the area again, I will definitely be calling them. Thank you very much for your time and services. I broke down in my work van on 79 and called a few companies but they all said they wouldn t be able to tow me for hours I ran across Golden Hook Towing and they arrived within the hour and towed my van to a mechanic close by and I was able to get it fixed up and back on the road!! I highly recommend golden hook towing ..very quick response time ..the guy that owns the company does everything his self very polite and reasonable prices they said a hr this guy was there in like half the time ..if I ever need a tow again I know who I m using!

My car died suddenly in the middle of the road leaving me stranded one night. I called around and the only company who was willing and able to tow my car 30 miles was Golden Hook. They were super communicative and even took my car to the shop without requiring me to follow them, because it was so late at night. They called, sent texts, and even sent pictures of my car during the process. I am so grateful they were so easy to work with under such stressful circumstances.Service: Car towing

These guys were awesome! By far the friendliest tow truck drivers I have ever met! I was quoted a price over the phone and that was the price I paid. Dennis was very helpful. Was on the phone with the insurance company for hours trying to find a tow. When I called Dennis myself and he said he could be there in 20 minutes. He always kept me updated. And also drove to my house afterwards to drop off my stuff that was still in my car which he didn t have to do. Dennis Was extremely helpful! After waiting for Triple A for FIVE HOURS and then them canceling, we called Golden hook towing and Dennis was GREAT! We left our car and Dennis picked it up in 30 minutes, he then gave us updates with pictures when he picked up our vehicle and dropped it off at the tire shop. He was extremely polite and helpful. I would suggest Dennis and Golden Hook towing to anyone!Service: Car towing

This company is ridiculous! Please do NOT use this company. My insurance dispatched this company to tow my car and this company made me wait over 2 hours and THEN THEY CANCELLED! No warning and no reason was given. I was stranded and cold waiting in the dark for 2 hours for them and they no showed. They would not have even notified my insurance company except that I m the one who called and bugged the company. I would have been waiting for days. I have warned our insurance company NOT to dispatch Golden Hook towing ever again for any other customer.Service: Car towing

this place is a total scam. first of all, they claimed my insurance company sent them, which I initially believed. However, after they towed my car, didn't take it to the collision center I asked, or tell me about my car's whereabouts for over a week, it was clear I was being scammed. They charged more than $3000 in fees to my insurance company in order for the car to be towed from their lot (1 hour and 30 mins from the car accident) to my requested collision center. my insurance company never sent golden hook the night of my car accident. I don't know how they got my phone number. but long story short: if you find yourself in need of a tow, do yourself a favor and use literally anyone else besides golden hook.

Called them the other day for a box truck that was stuck and blocking a lane of traffic at a busy point of the day. Not only were they able to beat a police called tow vendor out they charged a third of what everyone else in the area was telling me it would cost

Absolute embarrassment of an organization. Was scheduled for 11AM did not show up tilll 5PM. I had to call 4 times to get updates after the kept telling me an hour delayed each time. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people this way. If you dont want to accept roadside assistance work then don't. Don't push and delay people so you can ambulance chase.Service: Car towing

Had a blowout on the parkway west around 330pm. Called my Allstate roadside and the person assigned to my call was more than helpful and courteous. But then when I googled Golden Hook I was was concerned based on other reviews. But not only did my driver, Terry, show up on time...he called a few times assuring he was en route and then to confirm my location. Had me hooked up and home in no time! Was a nice ride with a like minded (in the few moments I met him) recovery driver. Was more than pleased with the experience despite the situation. It could ve been worse, deadly, effected others. Always a bright side and Terry and Golden Hook made a not so great situation very bearable. Great job guys and Thanks Again Terry!!Service: Car towing
