I went there to get an estimate on work needed for my front bumper. Estimate for paint job around $800. It was recommended it could be buffed out, maybe a little distorted when done for around $160. Of course I did not care, if it was distorted. I was told if I had a half hour they would do it while I wait. Within 15 minutes it was done. Charge for the outstanding service $0. Unbelievable, I'm still speechless.

Car looks good, but probably paid for a bunch of parts that weren t even necessary. Also said ready Tuesday 4/9 and I didn t get to pickup until Thursday 4/11 at close.

This place is busy for a reason. They took great care of my older car. Looks fantastic and they even shined up my tires. Highly recommended! (Bonus: They have a pond in the lobby with fish and several turtles.)

I needed to get some body repairs done and the area need to be re-painted. They provided outstanding customer service from the very beginning. Once I dropped my truck off, they provided daily updates on the progress and was done ahead of schedule. The truck was returned cleaned and looked amazing. I will gladly use them again and recommend them to anyone moving forward.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

***this review was written for Wolberts and this location has since changed into a different owner and staff***Generally a little bit more expensive but it's 200% worth the extra cost to make sure your vehicle is maintained and or repaired by people who generally love vehicles. Top quality work.

I trust the employees at Gerber Collision and Glass implicitly. My family has been doing business with the employees of this company (formerly Wolbert Auto Body + Repair) for decades. Their customer service is unparalleled and there is simply no one better for body work in the Pittsburgh area. Add to that the fact that my car was as clean as the day I bought it and you ve got one happy customer! There is no where else I would take my car for body work.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent service. I got the front bumper replaced on my truck. I got quotes from 2 other places, but Gerber had the lowest estimate. Got me in quickly, ordered the parts ahead of time. They gave me a time frame of 2 days and it was done in a little over 24 hours, and I paid LESS than the estimate. I will definitely be back, and I'm happy that Wolberts was taken over by a quality group.Service: Body & Trim

They did the work, but unfortunately it was terrible communication that resulted in seven weeks of frustration and major inconvenience. The sliding door was scheduled for a nine day repair. On the ninth day I called to check if my vehicle was done only to find out that no one called to say another part was needed and it would be two more weeks. Then I got text notifications, first saying the part was in, then saying work was "on track", then another saying work was "nearing completion." On the day when the work was supposed to be done, I was notified that it would be another five days. Five days later, I am told it will be another eight days. I called to ask why and was only told they are "actively working on the vehicle." I asked how is that possible if work was nearing completion was 18 days ago. Then I was informed the notifications didn't come from Crafton but a different location.When the revised completion date came, I was notified that another week would be needed. Still got the same response "actively working". Not the best way to operate a business.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Staff is great and I have never had an issue with any of the services we have had done. They are great for collision (we had a few with previous cars) and I just had my car in for an alignment, inspection and rear brakes. What a difference in how my car felt driving home. They got us in quick and had the car ready when they said it would be. Highly recommended!

Wolbert fixed my car after I was the middle car in a sandwich on I-79. It looks great and better than it did before the accident. They washed and shined the hell out of it, and even cleaned my rubber floor mats. Now that's service! I will be recommending them in the future. They were very friendly and easy to deal with. There isn't one thing that they could have done better.

This review is for the body shop, as they have a repair shop too. I chose Wolbert because I wanted a locally owned repair shop. When I first walked in, I felt right at home. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Drop off was easy and they kept me updated on the repair date, they even found an issue that only extended the repair by one day. My car looks better than it did pre-accident. They buffed the entire car for a spotless finish. They worked directly with my insurance on the extra charges. Would recommend!

Really great place. Had to get body work done after getting into a fender bender. Staff there are really nice and accomodating. They needed my car for 5 days. I dropped it off Thursday afternoon and got it back Wednesday afternoon. I guess they meant 5 business days. Other than that, I recommend coming here for sure. They even washed/cleaned the inside of my car. I was really happy about that! I think they'll even give you a ride home if you're close by. I didn't get the offer but a relative of mine did.

I had a fairly good experience here. The body shop went above and beyond the work they had to do and made the car look beautiful on the exterior and on the interior. They did extra on the outside of the body of the car and made sure it was nice and clean inside. My only small complaint is that sometimes the office staff leaves a little to be desired but and is generally a friendly atmosphere and professional. I wish I would have taken a picture before the lovely Pittsburgh winter weather dirteater up fast as we all know. Take my word for it she looked real pretty. I'm very appreciative of the job they did.

I always get great work done at this shop. Even though it's a large shop with many employees, the owners are always in the shop getting their hands dirty. Attention to detail in the body shop is absolute. Since I live around the corner, I often see Don going over bodywork with thorough attention.When my vehicles are in for mechanical issues I always get a call from Greg to discuss my options when unexpected problems arise. He gives an honest assessment and sincerely looks for the least expensive means to resolve the problem.I've never been dissatisfied with the service here.

Fantastic work and really great customer service. We were told 10 days and got our car back in 7. Everyone from the ladies at the desk to the mechanics were a pleasure to deal with and made a stressful situation much easier. We had to have some body work done and it looks like new. They also did some cleaningup on the inside and it hasnt looked like this good in a loooooong time! Could not ask for a better experience

My new favorite place to take my cars! Unfortunately, I had a fender bender recently.. nothing crazy, but I needed to find an auto body repair shop for the dent/scratch. I looked online at a few locations but I realized I also needed my inspection done, since Wolbert s can do both I decided to go with them. When I called to book the auto body & repairs, the ladies on the phone were so kind. They originally said they didn t have an appointment to get my car fixed for 2-3 weeks out. But then arranged for me to come in The Next Day to at least get my inspection taken care of, so that I didn t have to worry about it expiring! When I picked up my car.. they had a cute Little plastic holder with my insurance and registration card in it sitting on my steering wheel! Now it s actually somewhere I can just grab and they are both together. The inspection cost was very reasonable. I booked the body work appt and came back 2 weeks later to drop off my car. They had told me ahead that I needed a rental car for 4-5 days, luckily that was covered by my insurance also. When I booked the rental car.. I figured I d have to call them when I arrived at Wolbert s for them to meet me/pick me up. However, when I walked in to the office to drop off my car keys.. the Wolbert s receptionist picked up the phone and she actually called the rental car place, letting them know to come get me!!! As I waited they offered me snacks and even had a little refrigerator with some waters and sodas!!! (Oh and they have a lil pond in the waiting area with the cutest baby turtles and big turtles in it!!). The rental car showed up within 5-10 minutes and I was out of there. The whole experience was very efficient and pleasant. When my car was ready about 5 days later.. I arrived, they went and got my car, drove it up to the front door for me, and they took care of returning the rental car for me too! All I had to do was sign a paper and hand them over the rental car keys. The body work looks absolutely incredible!!! However, the coolest thing was that they even cleaned the inside of my car while they had it!!! It was all vacuumed out and wiped down inside! The outside was sparkling too! Tires were shining and everything!!! Amazing service all around! I will definitely be using them from now on for all my car needs and referring friends also. Thank you very much Wolbert Auto!!!

I just got my car detailed here today. Not only was it done earlier then they said, it looked brand new! My car is 5 years old and hasnt looked that good since i bought it. It had sap all over it when i took it in. When i picked it up you could never tell it was ever there. It was amazing! I would refer anyone who needs their car detailed to take it here.

Fantastic job. I had some unfortunate circumstances with my car. However, the mechanics at Wolbert's did a wonderful job making sure everything was just right. Great care and detail went into making sure the car was running as it should.

Gave me an estimate within 1 hour of me bringing my car in. Fixed it up in a week. Extremely professional yet also very mom and pop feel. They even washed my vehicle and shined up the tires before returning it!

Great staff; reliable and trustworthy. Convenient and easy to work with. They work with plenty of insurance companies and do great jobs with car repairs and body work. My family has always gone here in the past for body work issues and we have never been disappointed.

Not only was the owner (Bob) humble enough to meet me and go over his bid with me personally, he also took the time to call the insurance company on my behalf to prompt them along for authorization to do the repairs when he found out that I was paying for the rental car myself.I have lived in this community for 30 years and I now know why this company has such a great reputation, they truly care about their custmers!

I'm usually a bit apprehensive when my insurance company sends me to a new body shop. Aren't we all? Gotta say, I had a fantastic experience with Wolbert. Jessica (the rep I had there) was a great communicator. They found things after my initial drop off that was damaged from the deer I hit that we hadn't noticed and took care of it.Would definitely go there again whether or not my insurance company was pushing me to.Thanks for the great customer experience and service.

Mixed review/experience, here's why:10/18 I came in on an appointment because my blinker was out. It was fiddled with, they said it's working now, 8 bucks, no problem. Said if it goes out again it may be a circuit board, said they're around 40-50 bucks. Got home, blinker and brake light went out same day. Called for an appointment same day, they fit me in Wednesday (3 business days from the date). Drove 20 mins to the location on Wednesday, and they said it was the circuit board and they have to order it (that's why I called in advance?), the price going from 40-50 to now 67. Idk why they didn't just... call me, considering they had my number. But any way I made a new apt for today, they fixed it and also said they changed out the bulbs (i know they were probably being precarious but auto shops are known to milk customers for money, and being a full time college student who works part time any money difference is a big deal for me.) even though I feel they should have asked if I wanted that before doing it. Yes I should have spoken up, but having worked customer service I don't like to give associates a hard time because I KNOW how frustrating difficult customers can be.Any way, with labor, the part and the new bulbs it was 127 and honestly they should have cut me a break for the first fix not doing anything & wasting gas on a trip the second time I came. Everyone here is EXTREMELY nice and it's obvious the mechanics know what they're doing, but I feel kinda ripped off price wise and am probably going to take my business elsewhere. Just be wary.

I took my car to get an oil change and tire rotation. Before it was finished, they called me to tell me I needed new front brakes. I told them my husband could to the brakes for me. They called back a second time to tell me I had a rear brake light out. I don't believe I actually had a brake light out, but I told them to go ahead and change it. I got my car back and a few days later, my husband got me new front brakes to put on. The lug nuts were on so tight that my husband actually broke his wrench in half trying to get them off - and my husband is a strong guy. I am sure they did this on purpose because my husband has taken the tires off plenty of times before this with no problem. What if I would get a flat tire, how would I be able to change it if my husband can't even manually remove the lug nuts? I will never have my car serviced here ever again. I am someone who doesn't mind paying a premium for good work, but this is a premium for shady work at best. AVOID.

Jessica Bittner in the Crafton office was defense and raised her voice when we questioned why the part was still showed damaged and made no attempted to look into the matter. She was extremly rude and dismissive. Shouting at me and my child to get out of the shop instead of even looking at the part since we had already paid for the repairs. Zero customer service. Now we are left with a damaged part that was supposed to be replaced.Jessica Bittner's insolent and aggressive behavior is an embarrassment and Boyd inc should be appalled at her lack of professional conduct and inability to effectively manage her defensive behavior when dealing with customer needs. Gerber alleges a lifetime guarentee against any defects in workmanship. Jessica Bittner does not follow the company policy on this by allowing customers to raise concerns.0/5 starsEdit based on "owner" response below. No one has reached out to resolve this. I will take a formal apology in the form of paying the cost of the patched tire that was passed off as a new one. I had to immediately take our vehicle to a trusted mechanic to replace the tire that hade been patched on the side wall as we feared for the lives and safety of our 4 children. These guys/gals were outstanding. Very professional, easy to work with, and they are masking/cleaning/social distancing. I thought our car would never be the same after how badly it was damaged, but you can't tell anything was wrong.
