I had to go to Firestone today to get my right rear tire fixed. It had a slow leak and being I have an account with Firestone, I figured I'd get this done.Unfortunately, my tires are/were nine years old and needed to be replaced. (The treads were in fantastic shape, just the sidewalls goin)The gentleman there helped me out profusely! He was a delight to work with and made an unfortunate experience much easier to deal with.All in all, the staff was extremely helpful and professional. New tires all around were installed and a wheel alignment done. I truly would recommend them to anyone.However, as I always say, take this with a grain of salt and your mileage may vary!Edit 03/30/2024Earlier this week I had to have a a Tire pressure sensor replaced and they did a fantastic job! Yesterday however, the same failure light came back on. So I went in to have it checked out. I believe Lance (hope that was his name ?) worked on the vehicle and gave me an update. It seems that the right front and left rear sensor batteries are starting to die. I can safely use the vehicle until I can get them replaced. There was no charge for today.I tell you, I can't be happier with their service from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Excellent service and professional!Thanks for the service guys! I'll be coming back for sure!

I had to get an oil change after they said they did one here. The tech who did the new oil change at a different location stated the filter was old and not replaced. The oil was almost black. I saw this myself. My vehicle was not like this before I took it here. They damaged my under carriage shield which cost $400 to replace for dealer part. They coul have really caused severe damage if I was not on this. Lance asked for a chance to fix the issue however I won't be played 2x. They can say is not true but this was a new purchased vehicle and Firestone was the only place to touch it.

It took a long time, longer than I expected but I'm their defense the previous tires were the wing size and hard to get off. I just wish they would have let me know before they got into it how long I would be waiting, they also did not put a cap on one of my new tires. Also the price per tire was less than where i was going to go and then when I got the bill at the end the total price was over 100 more than the total price of somewhere else i was going to go. If I would have known that, I may have made a different decision. . That felt real messed up. I have a single income household it's just me, and that 100 plus makes a big difference in my credit card.

I keep saying this will be my last visit but my Fleet service is here. See a lot of turnover in staff and management. Your online scheduler should know if there isn't a tech to do inspections. Matt the newer manager is someone you need to support in trying to fix this location. He did what he could do to help the situation but when people don't show for work, you need to help them. I am in the people business and I can tell you just from watching over the years there, who the problem is. There is a bad egg there that causes the turnover and work ethic. Would be a shame if you lose Matt due to Firestone not supporting with techs. Seems to need a different approach to staffing for techs to sustain business. I just don't know how you keep this place open as is.

Do not go to Firestone unless you are a glutton for punishment. I had the worst experience of my life with them. I caught them skipping a step and not putting new grommets on my tpms sensors.I left only to come back tens minutes later with two flat rear tires becausemy tpms sensors were cracked. Next problem Is my sensors weren't programmed correctly. So I had to return again. The next day I felt a shake in my tires and stopped at Discount tires in Wes mifflin where the confirmed my suspicions. . So keep your free oil change because I will never be back.

Made an appointment online for Tuesday and specified tires. When I got there they only had the entry level tires. Ordered the right tires for Thursday. On Thursday had the tires installed. They installed the wrong entry level tires. Before, when they called, they said I needed an alignment and full brake fluid replacement. I had the car aligned 3 weeks before and had all fluid serviced the previous week at the dealer. Stay away.

Made an appointment for an oil change didn't get out of there until 1 hour later. Early for my appointment mind you. First time using them as a card holder I leave with my need oil change light still on. What was supposed to be a 29.99 oil change somehow cost me 54.00 smh very disappointed. Their excuse as to why my wait was so long was they are short staffed and they had to write ppl up. Chris finally did my oil change claims he discounted me 30 bucks for the oil change not knowing I'm a member and it's my promotion smh I will try the route 30 location and that's it lol no 3rd chances card holder or not!

This place is shady af.Took my car for the 9.99 inspection before I could get the state inspection since i didn't have the registration in PA yet.Come back to me and say you need struts,ball joints,tie rod ends so we'll order them. Had third party extended warranty through Silverrock which Firestone is a national participator. Silverrock asked for a few pics of the worn parts. That's when the fun began. Run around after runaround. Talked to the manager,we'll take the pics tomorrow.Didnt do it.Took the car to the Bethel Park store to get 4 wheel alignment and asked them to check suspension which they'd do while doing the alignment.Everything perfect. After I said what the Route 51 store said was told if anything was bad I'd tell you because we make money on the Silverrock warranty work. Three weeks later go in for state,everything still good. Asked to make sure and was told if we pass it with any of those parts bad it could be a risk and put us under liability if you'd have an accident. Few months later Catalytic converter went, had the code read by a friend,took it down,Bethel Park store verified,called Silverrock, given immediate appreciation and part was ordered before I left the shop. If you are close to both stores use this as a cautionary tale. If I wouldn't have had the 3rd party insurance they would have done and charged me for a couple grand of unnecessary work.

I came in the day of on a Saturday and they were able to take care of me. Great people and great service. I would come here all the time for car trouble if I lived in the area.

Always takes forever here. My tire apt was canceled and I missed the call and nobody left a message. Went there and had to reschedule for 5 days later. Luckily it didn't snow.The woman at the desk was nice and personable and the one guy from the garage was also nice.I've been here 3 times and each time it took over 3 hours to get tires put on. That's a long time . I get it. People call off and people don't want to work and I'm sure the people there working were also stressed. Still frustrating tho.

Took my truck in for alignment they told me to bring it in between12-4 dropped it off at 9 and they called me 2 hours later to say it was done. Truck is straight as a arrow. They even asked if there was anything they can improve on.I'll definitely be back

Multiple visits often required to fix 1 problem. Incompetent mechanics. Stay away! Forgot to tighten master cylinder and was leaking brake fluid because of it. Also messed up a simple oil change. And no, I don't require further assistance so your reply is meaningless, I do not trust you guys and will never bring my vehicle here again!

Took the car for oil change, when I went to pick it up, the battery was dead, asked what happened they didn't know, jump started the car. The following day noticed a some oil on my drive way, called them up, took the car back, originally the technician said it was water, asked him to pls check, then he came back and said oh they forgot to put the washer, thats why it was leaking..hit or miss always get good service but this time was bad..now I have to clean my driveway...

Brought in my 23 tesla y to get inspected. Walked in and guy looks at me weirdly and says we dont inspect teslas here. I was a little shocked as they inspect vehicles, and according to the state for a inspection center to be a inspection center, they have to be able to inspect ALL vehicles. After i tell him that, he gets an attitude and tells me we dont want to lift the vehicle as we might break the battery?! What? Im even more confused, i even brought my own jack points for them to use in case they dont have any, which they should, as they are a inspection station. at this point im just entertaining this and questioning the decision behind this, which after a few moments i realized that their management probably just doesn t trust their workers or they aren t competent enough. When i was leaving i tell them to rear up on the state law about inspection stations, so he more upset tells me to take it to tesla to inspect it, which then again i quote the law to state law to them that tesla cant inspect their own cars, as they would then have to be able to inspect ALL cars. Whatever, took it to good year and told them the fun story, they found it funny too. Dont bring your electric vehicles here, they WONT help you, or if they attempt, they will break it.

I recently took my car in for an alignment at the West Mifflin location using the lifetime alignment that I purchased at the Bethel Park location 2 years ago. I have had it aligned at both locations more than once.Shortly after I dropped off the car, the manager at Firestone (West Mifflin) called me up to tell me that they could not get my car on the rack, it was too low. This was untrue, the car is indeed lowered about 1", but it is still higher off of the ground than any sports car; I have a stock Honda S2000 that sits lower. He insisted it was too low, even though he admitted that they did not even try to get it on the rack (which it has been on before).Clearly they just didn't want to perform this service, which is free for me because of the lifetime alignment. I will never return to this location and will advise my friends to avoid it.

Passing through on a road trip and noticed an awful groaning sound coming from the front passenger tire. Stopped in here to have it looked at. The staff were incredible and got us in right away, looked at the vehicle and determined the new brake pads my boyfriend had recently put on were causing the noise. They don't need to be replaced yet, so the gentleman recommended a different type next time. They tightened all of the tires and checked everything over before sending us on our way. Definitely would recommend booking services here!!Service: Brake service & repair

I scheduled for new tires, applied for credit to take advantage of 6 month deferred interest. Into the replacement they approached me that my front & rear brakes were in "bad" condition & they could replace everything for additional $1000. I declined since I was having my vehicle inspected at the dealership the following week. That following week it passed with no issues. I asked the dealership the condition of the brakes, they stated "possibly" rear brake pads next service visit. Way to go Firestone for the deceptive business practices, as soon as my tires are paid off I will be closing that account & never using your company services again.

Went in to get my headlight fixed after it burnt out and there was no clip. they replaced the clip super quick! kamryn the manager, rich and i think his name was kevin were all amazing! thanks guys.

Rich is an awesome employee here. He took really good care of my rear breaks and explained everything that was wrong and showed me what went wrong where. He took a test drive with me in the beginning to listen to the sounds I was hearing and after repairs he took it for a test drive to make sure I thought it sounded good. He does not take advantage of you, rather he tells you what needs done without suggesting a million things like alot of sales people do. Go rich!!!Service: Brake service & repair

Had the axile changed to drivers side. Picked up car and wife made it 1/2 mile down the road and transmission fluid everywhere and car was stuck on busy highway. Had to have pleasant hills police officer help me push car off road. Now sitting here for 2 hrs waiting on a tow truck. Whole day wasted and now wife has to miss work because of the inadequate repair job. Transmission was grinding. Hopefully it's not shot. Getting it towed back to the shop, another charge. I will talk to the service Manger tomorrow as staff said I couldn't reach him today. So frustrating. Almost 500 dollar bill for them to possible screw up the transmission. I will repost after I speak with service manager.

I waited three hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Finally, about fifteen minutes before closing, I went to the front desk because I hadn't heard back if the car was ready yet. My car had not even been looked at. The person at the front desk was very apologetic and seemed to be trying to find a way to make it right, but there were other people in line behind me, and none of the other employees were there. I had booked the appointment in advance.This was a frustrating experience. I am a graduate student, and taking four hours out of my day to run an errand like this is hard enough. To still have the job undone is disheartening. I highly recommend staying away from Firestone.I will update the review if management reaches out to make the situation right.UPDATE: I reached out to the email address that the owner listed. I explained the situation and never heard back. Unfortunately it seems like the issues are not isolated to this one location. Firestone is not the company I thought it was.Services: Tires, Oil change

Just have brake and alignment service here. After that, I had to double check it myself (no offend) because of my bad experience with other car shops (including firestone). But, all look good to me! They were honest on my tire issues, and return my car within the promised time! So, Thank you, Steve! I will come back for other car services!It would be nice if I could get the paper record for the alignment service since I like to document them, but it is just an error their printer. So, not big deal.Updated: 05/22/2021Just have another alignment service with this store. Fast and friendly check in with appointment. Delivery as promised time. These guys are rock!

Second State emissions and inspection here. They are cordial and efficient. It took less than 2 hours. 4 stars because I realized that in receipt there weren't the full data for my wheels, breaks etc. But I'm pretty happy with their service. Plus is maybe the cheapest place to have an inspection. I called probably 7 places before and they all asked for a lot more to provide the same service.
