Jerry Dixon Amazing honest person. Amazing mechanics working over there. I have never ever have a problem with. Always happy, honest, calm,polite. And I leave here in Mt Lebanon. Go over there and leave your car. You can trust.

Jerry is no nonsense. They get it it done quickly, efficiently and mostly right the first time. The few times we have had to go back for follow ups they have been great in helping us figure out the problem and working through a reasonable solution. They have always been in communication with me for each step of the inspection/repair. They are what I m looking for in a local mechanic: fair, straightforward, fast and reasonable

The owner, Jerry, is possibly the most arrogant and disrespectful person I've ever had to deal with. Unwilling to listen to what customer asks for. You either do it his way or no way. Wanted to charge me $462 for a part I bought at Autozone for $178. Claimed his was better quality. They were both the same brand - Delphi. Also needed a part that was hard to find. He said he couldn't get it for a week and wanted me to get it sooner. He would charge me extra if my vehicle was on his rack too long. I drove 2hrs one way to get part from salvage yard. Part needed cleaning before installing. He refused to do this so I had to take it home and clean it my self. Also had to pick up a $6 part from the local dealer 20 minutes away he couldn't manage to order. I felt like asking if he wanted to lend me tools and I just fix it myself and not bother him.The owner is a joke and I'll never go there again.His mechanics on the other hand are quite knowledgeable and sociable. Definitely trust them to do any kind of work. Too bad their employer is so terrible.

I took my car to Dixons w/several issues. I found that Mr. Dixon was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He had my car done in the timeframe that I needed done. What I found most impressive w/his service was he had driven an elderly woman home so she didn't have to wait while her car was being inspected. His mechanics are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would most definitely recommend Dixon Auto and will certainly take my car back for inspections or any other maintenance it needs.

This garage was very honest with me. Matter of fact, they chose to go the inexpensive route for my repair and saved me money. I know all about cars and car repair, but this day it was snowing and I didn't have a place to work on it. I had it towed in to their garage because it slid over a wall and was hanging there. It didn't run, so I was waiting for this huge repair bill.When I got the call I was surprised. It was honest and fair.They could have soaked me for whatever they wanted, but they didn't. I will use their services again, and will reccomend them to everyone.

Knows what he's doing I guess, but the owners attitude and the way he talks to you is enough to find a different mechanic. Absolutely no respect to a person that's giving you money for a service. Plenty of good mechanics out there who will not treat you like trash for bringing them money. And I will not be recommending Dixon Automotive to anybody. In fact I will steer them away.

If you want to be treated with total rudeness, go here. Jerry Dixon, the owner, is the most surly and rude man I have ever met. He treated me, a customer, with such disdain I was totally taken aback. This was because I asked him to put air in my tires after I had purchased gas. He yelled at me that I would have to wait, he was too busy, and the only time he ever sees me is when I want air in my tires. I used to take my car there for service but since I now lease I take it to the dealership where I lease for service because of the warranty. I guess he was ticked off about that but, seriously? I would recommend Monro right down the street if you want to be treated with courtesy. Also, Jerry Dixon charges higher on gasoline than most stations. Just saying.......

I've been using Dixon for my automotive needs for years and have always been impressed with the quality of service. Jerry Dixon is very honest and makes sure you only pay for what you need. I highly recommend.

This is the worst place in Pittsburgh for getting your vehicle inspected or having routine maintenance done. You also never want to rent a Penske Truck from this location because you run the risk or Jerry Dixon (owner) charging you the wrong amount. Jerry also knows nothing about customer service or treating the customer with respect. If you ask questions he will call you a "complainer" and if you park in the wrong spot on his lot he will rudely ask you to move your car. I recommend no one visit this location for any of the services they offer and never buy gas either because it's �30 MORE than the 7Eleven up the street. Beware of Dixon Automotive.

Great small town mechanic. Dropped off a Penske truck and trailer rental (they rent Penske here too) they were very professional. I observed multiple regulars come through for gas or mechanical service and you could tell they had been coming here for years. The owner was very courteous and even took time to show me his new Buick Lacrosse.

I recently purchased a 2006 Toyota that started blowing blue smoke on startup. The big Toyotal dealer was too busy and already did not fix the problem and another big chain did not deal with this type of problem. Jerry Dixon was very pleasant to deal with. He suggested a simple cleaning procedure and did the job in a timely manner. I appreciated him not jumping to big expensive suggestions. The business is smalll but I believe qualified and respectable. There are always cars in the parking lot.

Good, affordable, efficient work! Employees are wonderful! Had an issue with my car, check engine light came on, car was not running well. Took it in without an appointment first thing Saturday morning, was fixed and running like a champ by lunchtime! Thanks guys

Great mechanics and service. I have serviced all of my cars here and Jerry has been honest and fantastic to work with. The best service shop in the Mt. Lebo / Castle Shannon area!

I've been taking my 2 Jeeps to Dixon for a couple years now. He's very flexible, adequately explains any issues, and very reasonably priced.
