Burt's is a great neighborhood shop. They're fair and do good work. The only problem is they're so popular that sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment!

Burts had worked on my car 6 months ago, and I thought he was a stand up honest mechanic and business person. I got an estimate to change my brakes. 375.00 dollars. He said he uses top of the line parts. I felt good about his price, since I know to change all four brakes costs anywhere from 275 to 600 dollars. My car dealer charges 675.I made an appt to have Burt change my brakes . When finished the bill was 813 dollars. WHAT???? STATES HE USES TOP OF THE LINE PARTS ....AND MY OIL IS RUNNING LOW.... my car has not run low on oil.. I just got it changed 2 months ago.. I asked do I have a leak some where? Oh no those cars just burn more oil. The motors aren't good. So far I haven't had a problem with the motor. My receipt was just a sales receipt with the charged amt. No itemized lists of costs...wow Merry Christmas Burt!!!! Sleep well tonight...how do you do business like this? So disappointed once again with businesses like this.So dolkarsdollars, so Is ed9

Called ahead for maintenance and they were too busy to speak with us about what needed done so we had to leave the keys and a note with what we wanted. Found after the fact you have to buy their parts and will not work on anything despite the higher quality parts you purchase. Was highly disappointed. Don t plan on ever going back. No work was done

Absolutely unprofessional stupid idiot running things, I told him multiple times that my ac wasn't working due to an electrical issue, he told me to bring it in in 4 days, then told me when I showed up that he won't look at because it doesn't need a new compressor which I already explained was installed brand new but wasn't working due to electrical issues. He reluctantly told me to leave the car and called back to tell me it doesn't need a new clutch that it's an electrical issue which is literally what I told him when I called originally. He then said there's nothing he can do. Literally wasted my entire week. Incompetent moron that should never touch your vehicle. Don't ever waste your time or money here. Also asked hi to inspect the vehicle and he completely ignored or forgot about that as well

Real down to earth and grounded people.I had an annoying squeak in my car and thought I needed new brakes and rotors and was given an estimate over the phone for the cost per axle which beat out other shops I was looking into. Before they did the brake work, they wanted to run a diagnostic to confirm the issue; many shops would have gladly taken my money to do extraneous work but they seemed intent to confirm the issue. They came back with letting me know that the front brakes were fine but the rear brakes had plenty of meat on them and needed cleaning and gave me an updated total, paid what they said I'd pay and then gave me my car back.They finished their work but the squeaking was still there. I came back and they took a ride with me to confirm the issue only to find that it was not just new brakes I needed but new tires. They didn't have any tires in stock so rather than try to suggest that I chill till Monday when they'd have them back they made a few recommendations so I could get these taken care of sooner rather than later.All an all an honest, very transparent, and very friendly shop, I'm looking forward to using them for future services.Service: Brake service & repair

Not only did this shop have the best prices around, their staff was wonderful. As a young woman who doesn t know much about cars, so many shops have tried to scam me out of money for repairs I didn t need. There is a very kind, knowledgeable woman who either runs or owns the shop. She walked me through everything I needed done, why, and how much it would cost. 10/10 I recommend this shop, especially to women!

Had to have issue with battery fixed and added state inspection in the middle. Maggie was incredible and helped me get out on time for my drive to St. Louis same day. Will come back for any car needs.

Nice and friendly lady but Burt was so rude and respectful, I still can't believe the way he talked to me this morning " I don't understand your English go get a translator" this was his word to me.
