These guys are honest and knowledgeable mechanics. They are good diagnosticians and don t just guess and throw parts at a problem. They have done everything from major repairs like clutch replacements to oil and fluid changes for me. Recommend this shop.

I requested an appt within the next 2 days (which is not polite, but I was in a fix) and Jim said he would fit my car in. He not only performed the requested oil change, but thoroughly checked my car over.He knew I was going to put over 2,000 mi on it in a week. He did not need to do this, but safety is Jim's main concern. He called me with a few things that I might want done before I left, but were not strictly necessary at that time. I requested Jim attend to all the points he brought up. He got the work done, the car runs beautifully, I would recommend Bridgeville Automotive with Jim and his crew to anyone who wants an honest, excellent mechanic to take care of their car

I always feel comfortable that Bridgeville Automotive will do a great job on my car. The folks there have even fixed problems that no one seemed able to fix even after charging me a great deal of money. They are very professional and I feel that they really care about me and my car.I am so glad I got connected with them.

Very good shop to get work done at, easy to deal with and to schedule an appointment. You can trust the work will be done correctly, for peace of mind you cannot put a price on. I will certainly be back for repairs/service which I prefer to leave to the pros. Todd and Jim are very friendly and provide great, detailed explanations in regard to what was fixed/replaced.

Been going to this shop for a long time now after difficulty getting quality work at dealerships. Bridgeville Auto isn t the cheapest service out there but one of the best. Give me experienced master mechanics keeping my car running like new for a decade or more over inexperienced and under-trained dealership techs that seem to just start replacing parts until they get lucky and even sometimes break more than they fix all while charging top dollar. The folks at Bridgeville Auto are fair and very good at what they do. This is my first review of any business, ever.On a Tuesday, my car broke down. The radiator blew. I had it towed to my longtime repair shop, who assessed the problem, but couldn t fix it for 4 weeks. I called 4 other repair shops, all of whom were similarly booked. The last one suggested I call Bridgeville Automotive. I am so glad I did.Jim said he would fit me in-not knowing me from Adam-so on Wednesday morning I had the car towed to his place. He called me that afternoon with the scope of the work and an estimate.On Thursday at 1pm, I picked up my car.I don t know how much something like this should cost. I do know that it was somewhat close to what my longtime shop quoted me. But to have my car repaired and returned so quickly was worth every penny I paid. A rental car for a month would have cost $500.I am so very grateful to Jim, and will not be going anywhere else for future repairs.

Good work, similar prices to others, the negative is you have to drop your car off ( no waiting for it) and they are about 2 to 3 weeks out in scheduling

Just had brakes and rotors done by Bridgeville Automotive. Always fast, quality service. My only regret is I don't live closer to them! Great work as always!

I take both our vehicles to this auto repair center. My brother recommended this place to me because he uses them. I highly recommend Bridgeville automotive. Highly recommended to me & this was my first visit. Ellen was so friendly & thorough when listening to my car needs. Got an oil & filter change & 4 new tires. Rides like a brand new car! Bridgeville Automotive always takes great care of my car and me. Quality and friendly service that's worth my drive across town. From the first time I went there, no one else touches my car, they're that good. Jim owns the place, and from his attitude, it all flows from there. He takes the time to make sure the service is correct and will talk to you about what is required. Todd is the same way, they both take the time to give customers the best service. I've been going there for about 14 years now, and my first service was absolutely necessary. I've been a loyal customer ever since. Ellen (in the office) treats everyone with patience and respect. It is a quality, no b.so. operation that you'll be taken care of by the best, and you'll never regret it.

Jim, Todd and Ellen are the best team I ve ever had work on my car. Since the first time I took my car here I won t go anywhere else. They are super fair on pricing and super flexible with scheduling. I bring concerns to them and they tell me right away what to worry about. Highly recommend!!

Had a flat tire on my way into work yesterday. They were busy and about to close! The one guy took the time out of his day to plug my tire in 10 mins and I was able to go into work..so thankful!! He also checked the pressure in all 4 tires for me as well. Would highly recommend.. very professional and been around for years!!

A front brake line blew on my 2003 truck and in less than 24 hours, Jim was able to remove the busted line and replace it, and I asked him to replace the other line while he was at it. You might think an auto mechanic like this only exists in commercials, but these folks are the real deal. Everyone I talked to there is passionate about taking care of you and your vehicle. The prices are very reasonable and the service was quick. I did have to make an appointment a couple weeks ahead of time, but I can understand why their schedule is booked up. This is a superior level of auto service.

Great experience. Got my car in there with a week's notice, so that is awesome. Finding a good place that is able to get you in quickly is pretty hard in the South Hills.I felt welcomed by Ellen and the service guys seemed down to earth and knowledgeable. In fact, the tech even showed me how bad my breaks were. No qualms with this place at all other than the brakes might have been more expensive than I thought (but what do I know, if I had that knowledge I wouldn't be taking it somewhere now would I?)All in all, great place and easy to work with. They will let you drop the car off before hours and pick up the car after hours. SWEET

Jim Ellen and Todd couldn t be nicer and more competent than they are. Always a busy place so they do very good work. The biggest thing that I have experienced here is that they truly care. About the automobile and the person. This is the only place in the south hills of Pittsburgh to get your work done. I truly mean that!!!

Bridgeville Automotive was recommended by my son and son in law. They both have all their auto inspections and repairs done there. I had them do an oil change and some repair work. Entire satisfied. Would recommend them.

Jim is the best, hands down. It's not easy to find a good mechanic that you can trust, but Jim and his whole team represent everything that you should look for in a good, honest, and trustworthy mechanic. I would never bring my vehicle or my wife's vehicle anywhere but Bridgeville Automotive. I highly recommend their service to anyone.

Update: The owner posted a ridiculous lie in his reply, defaming me by saying I'm an employee of Dandy Inc, a "scam company" that leaves fake 1-star reviews.Pathetic. Always friendly and honest. I wouldn t trust anyone else to work on my car. We have been going to Jimmy for over 20 years. We ve never had an issue. Always a fair price.
