Had an issue with my truck which necessitated a tow. Upon researching the local repair shops, I found this shop to be open in the weekend. I needed to get back on the road, and I was on my way after a overnight stay in Pittsburgh the next day. Reasonable prices and dealing with them was super easy. Would definitely recommend!!

I called in the morning and brought in my car in the afternoon and had my minor problem fixed & car back to me by the evening free of charge, even despite no appointment that day. I was also given suggestions to what services I would likely need to anticipate next, without the pressure of getting them done that day and with the honestly of what actually was crucial and what was not. Great flexibility, honesty and a place that you can trust not to rip you off, especially if you re a woman or someone who is not well versed in car maintenance. Highly recommend!

I took my car here on a relatively last minute scheduling, my car was seen first thing when i dropped it off and i was let know of a quotation pretty soon after i asked for it. unfortunately my car had special problems that would cost an outrageous amount at autoworx, so thankfully and graciously, the owner let me know of a specialized mechanic in mufflers that could probably help me in a different way for a better price. that place ended up working out wonderfully. He did not charge me for anything/running a diagnostic test. Thank you autoworx!

I have previously had difficult time finding any good mechanics for my Diesel Audi in Pgh - but my man at Autoworx knew exactly what he needed to do as soon as I described my issue, and did it incredibly fast. When I picked up my car, I was extremely low on gas and admittedly a bit stressed - the owner was kind enough to bring some diesel back to the shop on his own time and absolutely saved the day.

Driving through Pittsburgh with my Family and my wheel bearing blew out. Saturday at 3:15pm these guys closed in 45 min. I call they say "come down we'll take a look" and hour later they have it fixed and ready to go. I appreciate this very much.

Amazing service! I was shopping in the supermarket next door and suddenly couldn't start the engine. I contacted the owner of the store, who was very helpful and patient in teaching me how to use it! A home away from home!

Awesome place , took my Porsche there. They diagnosed and fixed my issue within a day and also saved me alot money doing it. Definitely using them from now on.

Highly recommend Autoworx in the Strip District! Sunny was able to get me in the same day and I really appreciated her kindness and excellent customer service. Greg went above and beyond to work on my car and I will definitely be bringing my car back here for service!

Beetle TDI with DPF issues. After service, cabin filled with exhaust when running. I naively hoped I was smelling a rotella oil change, but #1 Cochran found and fixed issues with exhaust clamp, and several other issues with the DPF work. I suspect diesel beetles just aren't the skillset here. Interactions were nice.

I was mistakenly charged $200 for an oil change done on my 2017 Camry. I was stunned when the staff told me the final price, but I ended up paying and was gonna deal with it later because I had to head back to work. The good thing is the owner caught the price mistake and refunded me right after. Everyone makes mistakes, but the more important thing is what you do after. I want to thank the owner for doing the right thing and correcting it in a timely manner. I hope that staff gets proper training if he/she ever has to do similar work again in the future.

Got a flat on the way into work and these guys went out of their way to get me some air in my tire (which was completely flat in the parking garage near their business). In need of new tires, they found me a great deal on what I was looking for, and had them ordered and installed, all in less than 24 hours. They made a bad situation, so much less stressful. I will definitely be using them again!!Service: Tires

I took my car for an oil/filter change only, and ended up spending around 5 hours in the shop and a HUGE bill to pay. The reason why they took such a long time with my car was that they arbitrarily changed the brake fluid and some spark plugs, so they were able to charge me $500 for the job!!! I was lucky they didn t decide themselves that my car tires needed changed!When I asked Greg for details about such an insanely high bill, he broke it down as follows: $110 for filter change (not including the filter) just labor, $375 for the other spare parts, and a $15 discount . I was not given any explanation as of why other jobs were done to my car without me even asking nor authorizing it even though i was there the whole time. Of course I had to pay, otherwise they would retain my car in the shop but I felt robbed, hand-tied. The fact that I m a foreigner doesn t give them the right to abuse or does it?I took my car to this shop because I trusted in the service I was going to receive but ended up totally disappointed.Of course I will never go back again and DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!Service: Oil change

I called last minute on the way to the gym, realizing that I had a nail in my tire. Without hesitation, they said that they could take me and help me out in a bind. They were quick, communicative, and affordable. I will definitely be visiting them again.

They diagnosed and fixed a sputtering engine by installing a fuel injector. They test drove it to really make sure that was the solution. Reasonable prices and a pleasure to work with. Also flushed transmission before and the car drives better.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I can't say enough positive things about Greg & his shop! I'm working in Pittsburgh from out of town for several weeks. I needed a lot of work done on my vehicle and most places are closed on Saturdays. Thankfully, I found Greg!Over several Saturdays, he fixed many things. And he often worked late in order to finish the work so that I'd have a car for work on Monday.He did great work. His prices were good. He truly helped me out

We needed a repair on a Saturday for an alternator and serpentine belt. The owner stayed 2 hours longer than his posted closing time to make sure we could make the 5 hour ride home . His fee was extremely reasonable too and he gave us a good recommendation for lunch while we waited!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Had a good experience with this neighborhood spot. Got a next day appointment for a PA State Inspection. I ended up having to move the appointment a few days and they accommodated it easily. Inspection and emissions test cost $50, oil and filter change $44, and then I needed about $800 worth of work to pass the inspection (typical yearly cost on a 22 year old car, in my experience). I wish they had done the wheel alignment (you have to request this service which I didn't realize). They got the car fixed up and done by the next morning. I would go to Autoworx for my next inspection.Service: Oil change

Took car to this shop because the specialize in foreign cars. Explained that I have had the battery replaced 2x already and it continues to die. $280 not including battery and my car is dead again. I thought you said it was the battery again. Even explained that I had a alternator and still was told it was the battery. What a joke. Quick easy $280 for them and customer screwed . Thanks for nothing.

Thank you to Autoworx for the incredible service you provided my family last week while we were visiting Pittsburgh. We thought at least some of our plans for the trip were shot, but you two gave us incredible care, and made sure we could do everything we planned to do.You found the part we needed, called me at my hotel at 7:00 that night, said get the van back first thing in the morning, and we were on the road to by 9:45.The van was fixed, we had a safe trip home, and I am forever grateful. I wish you both success, and hope that our paths will cross again, but without car issues! Thank you again.

We had a broken car towed here and they demanded money just to look at it they said they think the motor is broken and that they would just keep the car. I am from out of the area and don t know anyone here but these men are con artists. Not to be trusted. Stay away

I had tow truck driver recommend auto worx after I called 5 outher shops in the general area none could do a simple auto transimission fluid fill well auto worx filled her right up a little pricy but no one Elise could help so thanks a tonService: TransmissionService: Transmission
