Had a leak pop up the night before a long trip out-of-state, and after numerous frantic calls the next morning, Al was the only mechanic in the area who offered to fit me into his schedule to take a look and diagnose everything. Great guy and great service. Definitely will be going back.

I just moved to Pittsburgh and needed a shop to do an inspection and Al was able to get me in quickly and had my car ready for pick up a couple hours later. He also quickly was able to look at my car another time when I had a potential coolant issue. I definitely will be back and I much appreciate the early hours as someone who is an early riser.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Al's the best! Whenever I need something done to my car, I call in and he can always take me the next day, and he gets the job done the same day I bring it in. He's quick, honest, fairly priced and very nice. I took my car to Al s upon a suggestion from my sister. Not only was Al easily the nicest mechanic I ve ever dealt with, he was also the best priced I ve come across in the city. He was transparent about what work needed to be done and what the cost would be. There were no surprises except for when he told me my license plate was starting to fade and explained how to get a new one. He s a good guy that you can trust.

Al was recommended to me and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. I had a car that had been hibernating for about 2 years. I just wanted to get it safely on the road again. Al's is great. Trustworthy. Respectable. Al is a good guy. My dad has been taking both of our vehicles here for inspection and emissions for awhile now. If you're looking for someone you can trust, most certainly bring your vehicle here. Hes been around forever! Thanks for what you do!

Needed to get our tire repaired after it went flat. While the tire was not able to be repaired due to irreversible damage, Al's Motor Works & Tire Center were able to get us a used tire for cheap.Dropped it off before noon and received a call to come back within a few hours. The replacement of the tire took under five minutes and I was back on the road.I will definitely be going back here for most, if not all, my repairs!Service: Tires

By far the best auto place in I've been to in Pittsburgh. I desperately needed some snow tires before a big trip. I called Al's and within 24 hours, he ordered me 4 tires and installed them. Friendly, reliable, and fairly priced. Highly recommended!

My friends and I have been going to Al's since 1990 (!), I've been going there exclusively since 1994. I've recommended him to many of my friends and there is no reason to go anywhere else for non-foreign car repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Always honest, always reliable, always the best price, use with confidence.

Al is very nice and trust worthy and fair. I would definitely recommend him if you are in a money crunch because he will work with you and he is honest which seems to be rare in car mechanics and as a woman I didn't feel like he talked down to me or tried to cheat me.

Best mechanic in the city. I have been going to Al's for 20 years he will take your car in and get the job done same day. I had a problem with my heater that even the dealership couldn't fix he fixed it in one day.He is great.

This is the best place to get your auto work done. Al diagnoses and repairs your car accurately and at reasonable prices. He is honest and won't take advantage. I cannot recommend this guy too much.

My friend's and I use Al's services because he is super reasonable, fast, and upfront and honest. I never have any issues. I use him solely for my car.

Great shops, very friendly and accommodating. Super fair on price and they don't try to get you with items and services you don't need. I'm pretty loyal to them now. Would recommend!

Al fixed my tire up and only charhed me $21. And he didnt make any other bogus recommendations for me car - he just fixed what needed fixed. I will be returning to him for all my car needs.
