These guys at this store Pleasant Hills know their stuff""" Great service kind very helpful"" Now""" Those guys on Wharton St on the South side are ignorant and terrible they wouldn't even do a return for me they said because I used it they wouldn't return it when it was defective crazy was only 30 days old"" Thanks too the guys in pleasant hills they straighten it out thanks again Alex and Ray""

So I went today to the store to return something to Amazon, and that advance auto part ups drop off there . There was a cashier His name is Phil. He said to me you need to put the item es in a box we didn t do this here , I told him I returned an item 2 weeks ago, with no label. All you have to do is scan the barcode on my phone and you can return it he said to me no you You have to do this. You ll have to put it in a box. You label it we scan it we send it I told him no I can show you the email Amazon sent it to me. He said to me OK you can do whatever you want. He left me and walked a way . He was so rude , ignorant and disrespectful and I don t think I will go back to the store again, but there is another cashier, he is young and he was so nice. He apologized for what phill did . I hope all the cashiers in this store like this young guy and I hope Phil learn from that nice kid how he treat the customers .

Try to buy a universal mining bracket for a light switch for my fog lights they do not carry them he looked in the computer could not even come up with nothing for a toggle switch it's sad I had to order off of Amazon to get what I needed

The service was great. A man named "Zach" assisted me today. He literally installed my new Battery in less than 10 minutes. All while they were VERY busy. He was very professional. I hope he's a part of the management team. If so this location will shine. Thanks!

I had a great experience here, Ryan who is the general manager was able to assess my situation quickly and accommodate my needs! He really helped me out when I was in a bad situation and was super helpful with the information he was able to give me. Will be coming back to this store everytime I need something from advanced auto parts.

Very very lazy and inexperienced! Had to wait 45 minutes past opening time for someone to open the store door, only to tell us it'd be another half hour for his systems, to check anyone out! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at advanced in southside pittsburgh and I will not be returning to that one! Ps if I could give it 0 stars I would!

as a PhD holder in automotive engineering with 22 years of experience, i found these auto parts rather sophomoric, simple; certainly not deserving of the title "advance auto parts", if i were the owner i would change the name to "regular auto parts" or "average auto parts" so the customers can appropriately gauge what they're getting into.

As other reviews have mentioned, this specific store does not want to accept any returns. They hide behind company "policy" anytime you bring in anything and blame the owner/managers not being there as an excuse why they can't do anything. Went to an Autozone, not only did they have the part I needed but the employee said they would be happy to accept returns if it wasn't the right part. I won't be back to this store.

Horrible service. Came into the store to get help with my windshield wipers and the guy said he couldn t even help because it was a diagnostic problem. Definitely do not recommend this place, it s AWFUL. Workers are rude and they do not do a good job.

My husband and I come here a few times to get parts to fix our cars. The staff here are friendly and patient with us. They may not sell everything we need, but they have most things to say the least. It's at a convenient location. I wish they open later. It's kinda early to close at 8:00pm. They should stay open until 9:00 or 10:00 like Autozone.

Needed a new battery asap. While training an employee the manager was assisting the trainee with installing the battery. They both got a little dirty, lol. Great service.

Dealt with both openers this morning needing a diagnostic scan of the car. After we got the error codes they were nice enough to offer up a detailed history of those codes and what parts specifically I will need. Thanks guys.

My friend and I stopped here because her battery was not holding a charge. She was willing to buy a battery at the store; however, the guy who helped us kept telling us it was the alternator. After jumping her battery one more time she drove the hour and a half back home for her dad to look at it. Low and behold her alternator was working just fine but the battery was dead. If it had in fact being the alternator she never would have made it home, the guy NEVER told us this!?!? The guy is an idiot and endangering her life and her car. I will never go back and I will not be recommending this store to anyone.The men working here don't know anything!

Racist cashier, went to buy something and use a loaner tool that costed bout $4 and cashier denied me said she not gonna let me use the loaner tool. Big sign outside saying we have loa ER tools. I know all of advanced auto parts not like this but the cashier was comfortable and content with being racist at work which is illegal btw. She discriminated against me because of my race and/or national orgin. I visited this place Thursday April 4, 2019 between 7:15 pm- 7:55 pm. She also gawked at us as I was driving away watching me basically from the door. 1st time visiting this location and probably last. I work on cars for over 15 years. It's plenty of brown auto techs, she should be use to seeing people with my skin color and not assume we are bad people. Ridiculous. Brown people, stay away from this location, that's bad business right there. Make it so sad, she got visible tattoos lol sad.

Manager/ lead in store was distant, thought he was under the influence of something. Younger guy was not very knowledgeable but tried to help....I ll keep going to NAPA....

This place usually don't care the paint or parts im looking for a lot but u go inside the customer service workers are always willing to order the stuff if you got that long to wait. I don't so I'll Surf Elsewhere for what I need.

I got a battery test and i was told that i have a bad battery and the employee even printed a printed report saying need new battery 25 minutes later drove to a different location for them and i got the test done again and this time the guy said your battery is good no need even to charge it drove to Autozone and confirmed that my battery is fine so i wouldn't recommend that location for a battery test
