John is incredibly honest and fair- he diagnosed and fixed an issue that the dealership mis-diagnosed and saved my son hundreds of dollars. He also went above and beyond- dropped off a cell phone to us at home when we left it in the car after hours. So happy with the service and won t take our cars anywhere else.

For this level of quality, you have to be willing to make exceptions. John Marchione is a mechanic's mechanic and I have learned that it will take longer than anticipated. If you can live with that, you won't find better at any price, and my cars (older Saab / Volvo) have never run better. I own LivFit 24/7 gym down the street and stopped in here to have my car serviced. If you have a Porsche I would highly recommend you take it here as he works on a lot of them. I had taken my Porsche to someone else before I knew about this place to replace my clutch with a racing clutch and they didn't know that my model had an issue with the IMS bearing that can cause catastrophic engine failure. Most of the cost of replacing it is in the labor and the bearing is in the same place as the clutch. The other shop should have recommended I replace it when they were putting in the clutch as it would have saved me a bundle not to have to pay for labor again. Long story short if you have Porsche go to someone that specializes in them!Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Had to get an inspection done as I'd just moved from out of state and John was a serendipitous discovery. He scheduled me in for the next day (several others including some dealerships had wait times ranging from a week to nearly a month!). Was in and out within an hour, no extra costs, just some recommendations for what might be necessary in the future. While I waited I chatted with him about cars and could tell he has tons of experience and is very knowledgeable about a wide range of makes and models - just the kind of person you'd want as the regular go-to person for your cars.

I've known John for years and can assure you his dedication to take the greatest effort to take your best interest and well being is his motivation with every task you bring to him. He works day and night to more than accommodate your needs. He puts himself in your position and not only tends to your needs but offers options to relieve you of more expensive, needless costs that, as the professional he is, lessons your expensive repairs. John Marchione is simply the best, most honest, hard-working, knowledgeable mechanic around. He has worked on my entire family's cars, not only making repairs, but checking for safety issues and finding and offering the least expensive ways to maintain the vehicles and keep them on the road- safely. He has already forgotten more than most mechanics will ever know- and if you think I exaggerate, ask him a question or two.He is knowledgeable about virtually every make from exotic BMWs and Porsches to basic Chevy's and Fords and everything in between. If you are sick of being ripped-off by dealers or shops where they try to force you to buy extra services at high prices, then you have found the right guy. Highly recommended.

Originally I went here for PA inspection because it was close to home. I'll be visiting here repeatedly. It's a small-shop feel with a large lot of cars in the back right on 611, which makes it convenient to get to. Parking is not always the most convenient, but it works. Most importantly, prices are good, the atmosphere is extremely friendly, and the staff is hard-working, often available later in the evening (not doors firmly closed at 4:30 like many places). I've had inspections done for 2 cars and a stubborn tire plugged where my temporary plugs were not holding. The patch is holding like a champ.

I take my car to Marchione for service and they do very good work in a timely fashion. My wife and I take all of our car there for service and are very happy. They are honest and reliable and have fair pricing.
