I live in Philly suburbs and I usually don t go to a city mechanic. But unfortunately yesterday when I am leaving from work my car started misfiring and engine light blinking. Searched for nearest mechanic, drove to Kens Automotive. They have a key dropbox, very convenient. Dropped the key and left the car in their parking lot. Next day they repaired my car and sent me a invoice by text. I paid online and picked up the car after work. This is very convenient for full time working professionals like me. Price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I normally try to hold off on reviews for mechanical work until its been out of the shop for longer than a month but i gotta say Kens Automotive definitely, definitely came through in, lol, a clutch.My clutch had been juddering in 1st gear, while the engine was still cold, for a few months and I knew i had to save to get a new one and it abruptly went out on me.Kens quoted me THE best price out of anyone I called in the area, let alone most places dont do clutches anymore..It was the fair and correct price for what they did. Which was a pretty intensive amount of work.Good customer service, paitient, and fair.Will return as long as I'm in the area.Thank you Ken's Automotive!

I needed a place to get my car inspected and my youngest son recommended Ken's. Wonderful experience, reasonable and very friendly employees. When I walked in to pick up my car the young man behind the desk greeted me by name. Turns out he went to school with my oldest son! I'll be going back. back.

Ken's is now officially my #1 auto shop! I brought my car into a dealership for a recall notice, and the dealership said I needed $3000 worth of repairs to my car. I decided to call Ken's for a second opinion and they said they'd take a look. Ken's quickly fit me into their schedule, and after an inspection, told me ONLY the repairs that were necessary (which was NOT all $3000 worth as the dealership said - not even close). I highly trust them and admire their honesty as I am not a car aficionado by any means. Afterwards, my friend decided to use them for a second opinion on a car repair (the first quote was from another shop in town), and Ken's quoted them much less than the first shop. They are friendly, quick and from what I can tell, do great work!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

After 2 years I have never had a bad experience here. Whether it is an oil change, inspection or repair they are honest, quick, and have high quality work! I had a used car warranty and Ken would take care of everything for me when it came to repairs. I didn't have to worry about submitting claims or going through the hassle of calling my warranty company. The last time my car was ready to be picked up it was raining really hard. Tyler was nice enough to drop my car off instead having walk to their garage. I would highly recommend Ken's Automotive.

Ken and family have taken care of me for years. Always willing to work with your schedule and fit you in where they can. They have saved me more than once !! I ve been going to Ken s automotive for about a year now. I love this auto shop. Last year I had an experience where I didn t know about Ken s and I went to a different shop for brakes and rotors. This shop wanted money and they told me I need so much work done to my car for about 1,500 dollars to fix. I wanted to go get a second opinion somewhere and my girlfriend told me about Ken s. I went to Ken s and all I needed was brakes and rotors. Moral of the story is Ken s is the only place I want to have touch my car, and I only trust Ken s. I ve been to so many places. No one compares to Ken s automotive. Great people, very trusting, great pricing, not out for your money, and you can tell they love what they do.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I had a problem suddenly happen with my car. I called my regular auto shop and they never even called me back. Ken's Automotive is right on franklin Avenue where I live but I never thought to try them because I have a BMW. I called in hopes they would have some availability to look at my car. They said they could not get to it until the following week as they were all booked up. But they said to bring it by and they would at least have a look. Not only did Tyler have a look but he fixed it for me on the spot. He immediately went to work, picked up the needed engine parts and within an hour or two I was on my way with my repaired car. Grest place for car repairs. The men are very nice and friendly and try their best ro give you top notch service. They also do not rip you off. I have been using Kens for over 2 years now and very happy with them.

I live up the street from this shop. It is so easy and convenient to drop off my work car and just walk home- no bothering friends, family, rental, or Uber to get home. Has been extremely nice, quick, and fair with inspections and minor fixes to my work vehicle (Elantra). I do value a good mechanic... And this is a great place on the North Side.
