This is the best inn we have ever stayed at! We are a couple whose travel plans got derailed due to the January 6th snowstorm in PA. This extremely clean, warm, and comfortable inn was a safe haven to us in the middle of the storm. The bed was so comfortable with fluffy pillows. The owners were incredibly kind and generous to us. They gave us dessert to celebrate our nuptials They also graciously gave us water bottles and utensils. It was an unforgettable experience where we were reminded of the kindness and warmth of people. We highly recommend this inn to anyone on the road or in the area. Such a wonderful place!

The hotel was reasonably priced and one of the few available in the area. The owner was friendly and the room had a homey retro charm to it. Unfortunately we were put next to a loud screaming couple though, which disrupted our stay. Although there were only a few guests at the motel at the time, we were all placed right next to each other, not allowing for peace or privacy. Also, this is the first place I have ever stayed at that had see through curtains, with no black out/privacy curtains. So when it was dark out, and you had a light or tv on, people outside could see right in your room. Also, the internet was barely working when we were there. If it weren't for these 3 major issues, this would be a charming little roadside motel.

Not at all what was pictured. I booked two rooms for a crew out that way and I received a text at 9pm (with pictures) from my foremen stating that there was hair everywhere in the bathroom and that the hot water was not working. Since it was so late when the crew got to the hotel, they forced themselves to stay so they could get some sleep before returning to the job site in the morning. When I called to discuss what was going on with the gentleman at the front desk, I got hung up on. Very unprofessional.

My time at Best Travel Inn was excellent. Roy and his wife are very sweet people. I was greeted warmly and check-in was a breeze. The rooms are small but very clean. And they have AC and heat. It is an excellent place to stay while you are checking out the beautiful nature that is in the area, whether that be kayaking or rafting, hiking or just spending time with family and friends.

Please don't hesitate to stay here. I was very satisfied with my room. Fresh, clean, no smells. Towels were pure white and large size. Refrigerator was ice cold. Microwave did a great job heating up my leftovers from the wonderful little restaurant that is directly across the highway. Owner Roy and his wife were friendly and accommodating. I had read that there is a 100 year remodeled movie theater in town and, Roy gave me excellent directions.

My wife and I were on our way to State College and it was getting late, we called some hotels in the State College area and were disappointed that they were all booked up or just ridiculously expensive for one night of stay.We passed by the Best Travel Inn and decided to give it a try.Roy at the front desk was super helpful and nice, he wasn't sure that they had any rooms since it was a busy weekend but he was able to get us in.The hotel is definitely dated however it was clean, the rooms were nice with plenty of room for my wife and myself and the AC got super cold (which is something I always hope for).If you're passing through Phillipsburg and need a place to stay for the night definitely stop by and see Roy.Great prices.Clean Rooms.Friendly Staff. The Best Travel Inn gets and A+ from us!

I have been driving by this motel since 2015! I will admit that I always turned my nose up at it, while heading to State College. However, I was mistaken! We stayed here a few weeks ago, while traveling to State College. Hotel costs were very high in State College, so my partner and I decided to stop in to see if Best Travel Inn had any vacancies, and they did! The motel is clean and well-kempt. The front person is very nice, as well. It is also a quiet and comfortable stay, and I highly recommend it. Do not turn your nose up at it, like I did! My partner is a bit of a hotel snub (he's refused to stay places before) and this place passed with his approval as well. Also, staying here supports small business, and that is how business can upgrade (i.e., if people support them).

Really old building. However, the level of upkeep and cleanliness set me completely at ease. Easily the cleanest 2 star place I've ever stayed in. Sadly, the walls are thin and you can hear everything nearby. The toilets and water from other rooms being the worst.2 last notes, very firm beds with thin pillows and every 30 minutes the mini-fridge would let out a loud obnoxious hum for 5 minutes, and that was like clockwork. (Also, no clock or coffee in room)

It's a nice little place. The rooms are a bit dated, but they're well kept and clean. The gentleman in the office was very pleasant and accommodating which is nice after a long day on the road. It's easy to get in and out of and they have a gravel lot for truck parking which is big for me since I'm a truck driver. Xfinity TV, AC, a microwave and mini fridge are included. It's minutes from town and there's a nice little diner across the street. Overall I'd give it an 8 out of 10

I didn't expect much booking this room but to my surprise the room was sparkling clean. I actually never seen a room that clean even in one of a big brand hotels. There was a microwave and a fridge (both sparkling clean), the bed was comfortable (sheets soooo white and clean). The owner treated me like an old friend and was a delight to talk to. I would recommend to anyone!!P.S. Since the motel is next to the main road you can hear a lot of traffic noise at night. If that bothers you, definitely bring your earplugs.

An immaculate room and good value for a basic motel room. My room had a small microwave and a small refrigerator. The diner across the street is good. Not scenic but when I m in my room I m not looking out the window anyway.Service is friendly.Someone from Management is ALWAYS on the property. That s a big change from a dark and dreary hotel nearby where management leaves in the early evening.I stayed here for a week in September.

Stayed here by pure chance and it was PERFECT!!!! Owner was very nice and polite. Room was super clean and very comfortable. Air conditionning worked perfectly, as did everything else in the room. Walked over to the American Dinner in the morning and had a great breakfast. You really can't go wrong here for the price....

Very nice guy working the office. Cheap rates. Parking is right in front of your room. Pet friendly (for an extra $10) can't beat that price... Cons, not sure if the bedding was fresh, the room had a weird smell, the bathroom door didn't shut completely, the soaps & shampoo were terrible (but I always bring my own stuff).. Not too bad to stay on your way through, but I wouldn't stay for the weekend.

Decent place, good rooms especially for the price. Bathroom was a little dirty, and it s in a kinda odd part of town, but those are my only complaints. Nice staff, easy to talk to when you get in. Great for a quick stay if you re visiting Penn State for a weekend or on a longer trip.
